You hit the nail on the head about the condescending ‘humour’, I never bought it. Something about him just always rubbed me the wrong way and the way he addresses Blake online. Especially with Deadpool being such a success and Blake’s career being on the back burner as a parent, I feel like he thinks he’s above her and kind of narcissistic. I could be completely wrong though
aurora michelle okay so where is your proof for what you said? How can I take what you say seriously? Also, where is the proof she is lying about that. Idk, it’s pretty bold for someone to go on the internet (not behind a mask or a keyboard) to say that, especially when they’re at SNL a lot, part of the New York scene, was a magazine editor, on MTV, etc. It’s actually not that far fetched to me that out of all the parties and events she goes to that a celeb would make a pass. Also, if someone would lie about something like that they’d normally do it with a dead person because that person can’t defend themselves and say x information is false. But why do you watch her if you don’t believe anything she says!? I find her credible enough to at least believe some things.
When i see reynolds i want to throw up. He is narcissistic in a bad way. I didn't buy deadpool, i just didn't get it. And Blake... She was a queen on Met Gala. Why he is with this piece of shit?
100% agree, everyone always talks about how "hilarious" and "savage" "couple goals" they are with each other, but I never liked their "banter" it always seemed mean spirited and at her expense. At best it is just kind of annoying and not funny, def not the style of humor I generally appreciate in a man.
Yeah, we have science on our side now!...but still the blaming goes on...I was watching a vid on the preference for male children in some cultures, the ignorance in the comment section was _staggering_
Harley Davidson dude shuuuut tf up lol. Women are just carrying around ‘egg baskets’ wanting to get pregnant their whole lives. Some folks aspire to more than that. Or less. But don’t knock someone who believes they have value beyond that.
Scarlett Johansson was a bruise on his ego coz she was successful but Blake is just the cherry for him since now he can feel really good about himself. A man who's threatened by his woman's career is just pathetic.
Some men need a woman that just wants to push out babies and doesnt have ambition. Nothing wrong with that, its just the right people have to be together.
Alanis' successes bruised his ego as well, his ego can't handle successful intelligent women in their own rights. Don't get me wrong, I think Blake is wonderful, sweet, talented and successful which is how I find Ryan's exes as well, I just think he doesn't like seeing who he is with shine, especially at times when there are lulls in his career.
You are aware she divorced him because she felt professionally threatened so basically the exact opposite of what you are trying to claim and she has openly stated it...she even tried to send him nudes and get back with him when he was already dating Blake and she was supposed to be with someone else
The fact that he's so desperate to have a son annoys me. Girls can be awesome people to raise too. Girls usually are closer to their dads than boys are.
MayFlora what she said...he’s placing blame and force on Blake to have a boy which is ridiculous. It’s like getting mad at your man for not giving you a girl, something he can’t control. Some people can’t have their own children at all..he’s an ungrateful douche.
I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting a boy when you have only girls and vice versa. The Beckhams had only boys and only had their last kid because they were hoping for a girl and they made it. The problem is that Ryan blames his wife as if this is something she can control.
This varies because my family always has boy and girl, like I have a big family. So I always expect one of each. If I had a girl will like a boy and if I had a boy I will like a girl after. However no way i am having more than 3 kids if it didn’t happens by the third we’ll screw it
He was engaged to alanis morissette before his first marriage and seemed more down to earth almost hippie like her at the time. He seems like one of those shape shifters who has to be like his partner and has never been alone long enough to find his true self.
I was in my late teens when i was dating this person. I was studying to crack the medical graduation entrance. He wasn't supportive of it and would say that i would never crack it. True to his words, i didn't crack it. But i kept on dating him for a while. Then broke up because he was being obnoxious. Yet continued to be in talking terms since we had the same circle of friends. The next year i told none and sat for the exam again. Now i am a doctor, pursuing specialisation in my dream subject.
"They're boring". I didn't know you knew them PERSONALLY. they may be so fun and crazy. We don't know their lives so stop acting like you do. They may be celebrities but they're people first
Ryan might’ve married Blake in 2012 but Scarlett got her star on the walk of fame the same year. He didn’t get his star till 2016. She stays winning 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I don't get it either. I mean yeah he is cute, but people act like he is just like this sex god. He's just cute in normal way in my opinon. Blake however is STUNNING.
Condescending men are the worst because it’s harder to leave that relationship; they disguise it with humor so the woman doesn’t see it as a personal attack but its sooooo toxic. leave immd. ALSO WOW that connection of ryan needing someone to take care of him romantically and then resembling a condescending/ cynical teen boy to his mom.....the psychology blows me away.
I was in love with this type of guy as a teenager, because my parents were just like that. They are covert bullies: superficially charming, funny in a way that seems ironic at first glance, and just really hateful beneath the surface. This guy made me feel like I was home, because his behavior was SO familiar to me, and I thought wanted to make me laugh, but he was just trying to erode my self esteem.
Blake is more "conservative" than she appears to be. I realized it when she launched Preserve. She did Vogue to promote it and said her husband is " going to be a great father and leader and patriarch-he's so meant to be all of those things". She's also said she wanted 4 kids plus her being obsessed about the Antebellum South because her parents are from the South - she and Ryan GOT MARRIED ON A PLANTATION for God's sake!!!!! I aint' worried about her. She is literally living her dream right now, She aspired to be the wife of a Ryan Reynolds. Because was in Gossip Girl and she is all about fashion, people still see her as a New York socialite a la Serena van der Woodsen. When she's in fact traditional. Definitely not my cup of tea, but to each their own I guess...But the plantation wedding though? Hell no! This was a mess to say the very very least.
I have been a stay at home mom for 10 years and the past few years I have become bored out of my mind. So now that all my kids are school aged, I am finally a year away from getting my bachelor's degree and getting out of this phase of my life. And I am SO excited to finally be doing something for ME! I need my financial independence, and I will soon have it!
@@ashleylacombe8935 Yes definitely worth it! I got my masters the following year at 36 (both in social work). It's hard work but when it's done it's done and nobody can take those kinds of accomplishments away from you 💙
Never really cared about any of them tbh. He's annoying and she's overrated as an actress. But I like her personality, she seems to be really sweet irl.
Ryan would be nothing without Deadpool he milks that role so much that he even tries too hard to be funny online to reference the jokes in the movies. Kinda narcissistic and betta male personality if he can’t handle his wife being on his level or higher than him.
This is so true. He seems like a beta, a lot of men get it backwards and think disrespecting your wife is being an alpha. Obviously they don’t (and shouldn’t) be a doormat, but they shouldn’t be disrespectful and condescending either, and putting pressure on HER to have a son? Clearly a BETA male. An alpha is such a man that his manhood isn’t rooted in oppressing women like betas. When you’re with a true alpha, you don’t have to shrink yourself to make him feel like a man.
I just had to mention, because you mentioned ‘how he speaks to the waitress is how he will speak to you one day’ my psycho ex was such a lovely person to strangers, like he would literally be up their ass. Different to his ‘friends’ and family. And by different I mean completely disrespectful and rude at times.
I like that she also crops him out of pictures and then will wish him a happy birthday or anniversary or whatever. She's no push over. She's fine in this marriage.
Speaking of Justin Bieber and his wife, did you catch the video of him getting out of the car and slamming the door on her while she’s in the process of getting out of the car as well?
Special Twice exactly though they are normally better at hiding those behaviors from public view. So I believe my original thoughts on ‘yummy’ are not about his wife.
In Scandinavia men like Ryan Reynolds are doomed to stay single with their caveman mentality. A man who want a woman to be his maid and nanny is a total turn-off! No thanks! And passive aggressive behavior is also a no go. *A secure man is sexy!* A good video as usual, Shallon!💛
I think she means that in Scandinavia the women archetype has always been strong and sassy, and traditional men can't handle that. Women are wildly more independent nowadays, they are more than do-it-all-housewives, so they don't have to submit to a man like that. In Scandinavia women have traditionally done all the houseworks as a man would all the way until 1960s, because life was hard and humble before industrialism changed that. My grandmother raised 4 boys in a small cottage after grandfather returned from 2WW
I would also add Sebastian Stan... Like imo both of them are drop dead gorgeous. They're friends as well, since Gossip Girl days and I find that so cute 😍
@@simplydepressed I honestly don't know. The only thing I can remember is that Ed Westwick (the guy who played Chuck Bass) was accused of sexual assault during metoo but got cleared/there was not enough evidence... Other than that I don't know, I didn't keep up with his career tbh
I never had a career, just a job. My daughter however had big aspirations and at the time was dating a doctor. He wanted a submissive woman and my daughter said" Heck No". She ultimately became a lawyer and runs her own business now. She said goodbye to the doctor before she entered law school.
I used to go for these “funny” guys but I realized them being “funny” with me was actually disrespectful at times. Some of these guys are incapable of separating their humor and respectfully treating a female. These are the same guys that call girls “dudes” and reserve their Saturday nights for “the boys.” I swear these guys get off on being condescending.
Scar Jo was really doing charity by being married to Ryan. He's average-looking at best (definitely ain't as hot as Shallon described), he wants women to dim their light to make him look bigger/better and his career was flopping before Deadpool revived it.
This makes a lot of sense to me I sense that both of them value traditional gender roles. And perhaps Blake did want a man who was going to be a great provider. But she seems to still be making movies while having babies. She's really doing it all. The movie she does are not great but at least she's still working and is still a name.
Doesn't Ryan know that the man controls the sex of the baby. You can tell his sarcastic acting is real. I would put money on that this is the way his father treats his mother. He learned it from somewhere. I wonder if this is the reason they named baby #1 James. I love the name but it's a boys name and has been forever.
@@MichellinavanLoder my best friend married a guy with 4 brothers. Every single one treated their mother like nothing more than a maid and whipping post. Their father should have been a better man and set those boys straight but he treated her the same way so he was the cause of it. She was a lovely woman. Same as Blake Lively and Hailey Bieber. She never rocked the boat. Just went along with the waves. Sad.
It might just be so they can stay home and raise their own young children/babies for at least the first few years, because that’s what’s best for them.
He referenced it in an acceptance speech a while ago. Someone in their family was having health issues and she took time off to focus on the family and kids and he thanked her for that.
She did an interview couple days ago , she said something along the lines of not wanting to do every movie , she is picking better story lines because of her daughters , she want to set a good example , that she doesnt want to do just anything and good story line just hasnt come up yet :)
Jessica Simpson said when looking back on her videos with Nick Lachey she noticed a lot of eye rolling... not good. She knew it wasn't right. He looked down on her.
My late husband treated me with so much contempt - rolling his eyes and sighing when I talked, not answering me when I asked him a question, etc - and it was like a knife through my heart. It really destroys your self-esteem and confidence. I'm hypersensitive to behaviors that indicate contempt now and won't ever put up with it again.
She said she had conversations with Noah Baumbach (The Director) as he was writing the movie, and was able discuss about their lives and incorporate elements into the film. I’m sure her character speaks to her in a very personal way.
It was a really good movie but only people with deeper essence can articulate a good movie. People who do what this woman does (gossip about people she doesn't even know) , it's not surprising she has no depth in herself.
Is there such a thing as a green flag in a relationship? If so I'd love to know what those are, I feel like all I ever look for are red flags and thats probably not healthy.
Alexandra Brinkley I agree! Just her talking on RUclips in her one take videos, shows how talented she is. Journalisms loss is our gain. I think she’s already written a book.
Can you talk about the “cool girl” troupe? like how many women will adapt to whatever a man wants/needs, like he likes football, she suddenly is drinking beer and watching football etc
People forget he was first engaged to Alanis Morisette before Scarlett came along, and she was gutted when he dropped her like a hot potato to get with Scarlet. He and Alanis seemed like such a odd pairing, so there were red flags about his character back then, not only that he would so easily break her heart for a shiny new object, but also that he'd be with her in the first place.
True! I remember reading that all her hits in the 90s were about him and he dud her dirty. Although they never made sense to me. I had wondered if she tgought of herself as a puma and him cub but really he was social climbing? I have no evidence just wondered
@@nothanks8305 No it wasnt about Ryan it was about Joey from Full House (Dave Coulier) lol looonggg before Ryan. He cheated on her and she wrote you oughtta know
if your career is your identity, that's fine, but that's not the case for a lot of people, and that's fine too. some people find that in parenthood, and some people (the healthiest, in my opinion), don't attach their identity or self esteem to one thing, but to a plethora of components that make for a balanced life.
I heard about this before. This is why it didn't work with Scarlett. She's too independent for his needy MO. He seems pretty high maintenance. Blake wanted to have a family. However, I hope she wakes up and does not let her career pass her by if she still wants one.
@IVnk .com People talk a lot about high mantainance women, but nobody talks about high mantainance man! I love that you used that term to talk about a guy, because people just assume that women are supposed to do the emotional labour of the relationship, so nobody talks about how a man can be too needy and exausting in a relationship.
She's probably happy right now. She already had a lot of work done. She doesn't have to feel the need to compete in a marriage. It's much more fulfilling to parent a child than to have an award at work imo and there's no shame in being a house wife. It's one of the most difficult jobs in the world.
@@CR-ce5lf she is a manipulative egoist. A mess. Verbally and physically abusive. What are you trying to even talk. You prove the power of her manipulation, you believe her.
My poor mother is in a relationship like this with my father. He just wants a housewife... that also works and pays everything 50/50. I don't think that is particularly fair. My mother loves to help out in our church and it's a time she can also interact with her friends. And he throws yelling tantrums that she a terrible wife that loves church more than him. That "the woman in church don't treat their husband like this" and threatening divorce. My mother deserves better. And my mother apologizes FIRST when this is completely his fault! He knew who he was marrying before he did.
J Timberlake DOESN'T SUPPORT HIS WIFE EITHER!! I was with someone FOR YEARS WHEN we broke up Someone I know Cried and said You guys WERE the PERFECT COUPLE I WANTED + DREAMED OF A RELATIONSHIP JUST LIKE YOURS!!
When you said the way he talks to a waitress or his mother is the way he will talk you I so TRUE!!!! I wish more younger women would learn this you can weed out men real quickly with that advice!
My dad is very respectful and nice to strangers including waiters and waitresses and everyone thinks he’s such a gentleman when in fact he’s abusive (both physically and mentally), he used to lay his hands on my mother and speak to her in a derogatory way and disrespect her in public and infront of us (their kids)… so yeah.. this is not always the case. Just because someone is nice to strangers doesn’t mean he’s gonna be nice to you, narcissists are known for pretending to be nice to strangers and then abusing their partners behind closed doors.
I remember there were multiple reports alleging that Scarlett and hi's deal breaker was that she didn’t want to abandon her career to have kids. He wants a woman that takes care of his children but that he doesn’t see as “competition”.
why are these widely-loved Hollywood men so insecure in themselves to treat their wives/girlfriends like nothing to elevate their egos? Ryan Reynolds, Ansel Elgort, maybe even Megan Fox's husband... yuck :(

Served Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and his family in Vancouver a couple years ago, Blake Lively and Ryan's mom were so sweet, but him...yea def the opposite.
@@marah3298 they were dining at a VERY boujie hotel in Vancouver and had the private room for brunch. Blake just had her second child so she was wearing overside clothing and without makeup she looked just...plain? But nonetheless super sweet. Ryan never said thank you when we placed his food or took items away and when I said "have a good day" he just looked and ignored me. At least John Travolta acknowledged the servers!
Lissa K I think we judge too easily, we all have bad and embarrassing moments that we’re ashamed of. I’m not justifying her bad behaviour by any means, but wouldn’t rush to judge her whole personality on that one incident
Not having a boy is literally the mans fault - biologically it’s impossible for women to to decide the gender bc women have to XX chromosomes (x=girl y=boy) and men have XY chromosomes and bc DNA is half and half the female can only give one X and the man can either give an X and have it be a girl or a Y and have it be a boy . So really he should be blaming himself if he isn’t fucking happy with his two daughters
Oh very tART exactly. And can you imagine those sweet girls getting those vibes from their daddy when they get older? They will feel that they weren’t wanted, and that’s traumatic.
I'm a stay at home mom and I HATE it. My daughter started kindergarten back in the fall and I broke up with her father after ten years because he's awful - liar, cheater, verbally abusive, anger issues, the list goes on... He's definitely a Ryan who expects me to take care of him in every way and it's exhausting. On top of it he's not even appreciative. But it's so hard to get back into the work force with something that can support us, and that works during her school hours (I have no family to help watch her). So in the meantime we're still living with him and it makes it so hard to fully move on. Mentally I've been checked out and moved on for a few years, but he acts like it's still my job to take care of him because we're still here. He never supported any jobs I wanted because he wants me financially trapped and stuck relying on him. Even though he's not happy with our relationship either he'd rather have things stay the same than breakup and find someone who actually makes us happy. I don't understand it. So long story short, I'm not fulfilled being a stay at home mom and it's very difficult to change it after so long. Kudos to the women who are happy with this life, but it's not for me.
Mara M my brother in law is a Scorpio and we get along really well, especially intellectually but he has the biggest anger problem of all time. He will throw a fit for losing or throw things if his favorite football team loses and will vow to murder coaches. I feel so bad for his girlfriend
@@marah3298 I'm a scorpio and I'm not toxic. You can't just pin every scorpio together. We are just not with BS and fake niceness. Also, we tend to have VERY DARK SENSE OF HUMORS, which is what Ryan has. Not everyone understands it and gets with it.
I’m 27 and a mother of 3. I keep feeling this nagging emptiness and depression, and any time I try to figure out what I should do, I can never figure it out. Self esteem is incredibly low. My husband is incredibly supportive. I really became emotionally dependent on him. I want to feel more fulfilled, like I’m my own person with my own goals....but I feel like I don’t even know where to start.
Sorry about that. If I may, start by doing some voluntary or charity work, it will give you a light on how great your potential and usefulness in the world is. Discover something you like, like drawing, writing or dancing. Start little by little and discover yourself.
I work in a hospital I attend to many men being admitted who's wife's do everything for them and then they expect female nurses/carers to treat them the same😠
At one point Shallon says, “my career is my identity”. Does anyone else find this a bit concerning? She talks about how her strong self esteem, character, etc. was developed as a result of her career and success... But is that healthy? Isn’t it the same as being a “cold blooded animal” to a certain extent, i.e. needing societal validation and the appearance of external success in order to feel happy and “complete”? (No shade at all to her or her success, I’m genuinely interested about this from a psychological standpoint)
I think it validates us as women. We're not supposed to be successful and having the dream career and having the house and everything else puts some pep in your step. It's financial freedom and builds your confidence. As women our careers are completely ours fail or not and especially when its something we love it is an extension of us and we take it very seriously. successful women in general tend to be very career driven. Later on some go on to have families but our hard work builds us, our success validates us this is also the same for men too. But that's just my 2 cents.
I think also, when shallon says if you have low self esteem get out and do this and that bc that's gonna give you the confidence you need! i think she means doing things is going to show you the qualities that are in you and essentially who you are and help you love those things
Her career success is just one example of how her self confidence has manifested into concrete gains. She could specify “my career is one very important aspect of my identity”. But she’s just talking in general. The details are just as important as the big picture. Better to not argue semantics
@@cydddias3390 It's concerning to me as well. It's all well and good when her career is going great but what happens if it takes a nosedive? Would her self-esteem deteriorate with it?

I feel like this woman always reaching for example with Vanessa and Austin how Austin was ready to start a family and Vanessa wasn’t, or with Megan and Harry and now this 🙄. Just making judgements in others relationships. Edit: also she always making subtle shade at mostly every female. 🤔
His tweets/posts are rarely ever serious and almost always in a joking manner. Blake does the same with her posts, like cropping him out of photos, and both him and Blake don't take themselves too seriously online.
Also too those condescending comments can be passed off as jokes, like he’ll say something in a tone of voice, you’ll call him out on it, and his comeback is “it’s just a joke, I was just joking” gaslighting masking as humour...
When Shallon impersonates Blake: "Just buy me a really big beautiful house in upstate New York and let me make artisanal butterscotch from scratch and make some weird website called Preserve that looks like a Saw movie promo website from 2005" - it did look like that... it did look like that..." HAHAHAH love you!!!
Man love ambitious women until they realize that your carree keeps you emotionally and financially independent. So he never gets to be the savior in the relationship, he never feels superior. A carreer woman is someone that will not feed a man's ego, because she has too much to do. And that's how you avoid weak man. Become your own prson, be self actualized. A man-child will naturally be repelled by that.
I dated 3 guys who wanted me to do everything for them. One even wanted ME to buy the condoms. I was so naive and desperate to keep a man that I fell for this behavior every time. Don’t be like me. Tell these men to take a hike.
Also I'm a stay at home mom. Me and my partner both basically raised ourselves so we both felt strongly about a parent (didn't really matter which one) staying at home with the kids. My oldest was born with a disability and with his expensive medical bills we decided on me since dad made triple my paycheck. Now that my boy is starting school i was able to transition my career to a work from home situation while still being able to be there for him. both are really important to me
I can't imagine anyone wanting or being ok with a parent child dynamic with your partner. Having a child sounds exhausting, having that type of relationship with a grown adult sounds good awful. Hard pass.
What if your dad has the same mentality as ryan? How do you deal with a father that only wants to use you after discarding you because at first he didn't see the value in his female offspring, until his relationships fail 🙄.
Men like this make me grateful for my husband. He supports me and when I joke about making more money than him, he giggles and calls me his sugar mama. He's a hard working man himself.
There's a lyric in an Avette Brothers song that says, "If your love laughs at your dreams, well it's not as bad as it seems, but either way one of them has got to go."
Omg. I grew up with an NPD mom and something about Ryan always had my tingly sense going off. Something struck me as off about him. A falseness I couldn’t put my finger on. Also why I never found him to be an attractive movie star despite his looks. What you suggest makes so much sense. He gave me mean humour vibes from some interviews as well. Like the guy who takes the joke that one bit too far so you’ve crossed a line. Blake is the Cool Girl trope and he needs that validation of someone worshipping at his alter.
There are some rumors that his friendship with Jake Gyllenhaal is over since the couple unfollowed him on social media. Their friendship seemed very exposed. It would be cool if you made a video about Jake

I needed you in college! Love listening to an educated woman, with drive, who loves dumb celebrity shit (my dream job 🤩). You inspire me to do more for me.
Hello there! I’m a stay at home mom. It is indeed something I always wanted. Before I even started dating, as a pre-teen, the idea of making a home and raising children was the dream. Now living it, yes it is difficult not being a working woman, although I often question if those feelings come from within or from the outside, people looking down on stay at home parents. Honestly I wish to be home as long as possible, I think it’s underrated, and very important for young children. My time for a career will come in due time. It does help that I work with children otherwise, so naturally I want to be with my own for now. I love this role for now. Different folks and strokes! Kudos to everyone’s way.
The worst part is once you realize they have eroded you, they have already damaged every part of your life and you have improved every part of theirs! Don't let it get that far!
Thanks for this video!! I found it crazy when her career took a dip after marrying him, he’s this huge movie star while she has three kids, is known for a role from 10 years ago and being his wife.
Everyone wanna find things wrong with couples who appear happy and when things aren’t perfect y’all get so excited. Blake is a grown woman. If Ryan is such trash, she wouldn’t love him so much. Maybe that’s just their dynamic and they’re happy like that. No marriage is perfect. Like just let them live 😞 they have daughters but sometimes people may yearn for a son. Just like how people who have a lot of sons try for daughters. It’s normal. Y’all just reaching.

I don’t think Ryan is a versatile actor at all. He always plays the same type of personality. I don’t find many of his newer movies good whatsoever (besides Deadpool). Just as a side note 😅
Shallon, you are so on point about what your grandmother said about loving a man a little "less" than he loves you. I heard that years ago and I now can truly understand that statement. I agree with you if a man is not supportive of something you want to do in life that's fulfilling to you, move forward with your life without him, period! Take care 💫
Two alpha in a relationship create competition. You need a good balance between feminine and masculine energy and that's what they have. Blake is not an alpha that's a fact. Blake and Ryan seem to be a very traditionnal couple and what's wrong with that ? Blake could have been more, she's so beautiful but what if she didn't want to ? She always was in long relationships and I think she prioritizes stability over the Hollywood crazyness and drama. They are so funny on social media ! I remember when she unfollowed him on instagram for the promotion of a movie and he joked about it in a interview "she unfollowed me, how can I explain to my kids that our couple is in crisis ?" They don't take themselves seriously and that's soo refreshing
Omg my ex was just like that ! But he pretended to be supportive and all about self improvement but turns out he was only supportive if you did what he wanted you to do, while demanding you do his laundry. Talk about positive renforcement. He left me because I wanted to go back to school and he wanted me to own a buisness because that's his world. I think you are incedebly intelligent and strong. You taught me how to kiss when I was a teenager and now you are helping me understand what went wrong in my relationships as well as helping me improve my life. Love you. Kisses from France 😘
Why he is with this piece of shit?
condescending humor is NEVER a sign of respect or love.
100% agree, everyone always talks about how "hilarious" and "savage" "couple goals" they are with each other, but I never liked their "banter" it always seemed mean spirited and at her expense. At best it is just kind of annoying and not funny, def not the style of humor I generally appreciate in a man.
this is sooo true, and my husband loves him...lol
The gender of a child is determined by the semen, not the egg. If Ryan keeps shooting girls, it’s his fault, not Blake’s
Yeah, we have science on our side now!...but still the blaming goes on...I was watching a vid on the preference for male children in some cultures, the ignorance in the comment section was _staggering_
THANK YOU!!!

Did she really say that? lol love it!!
Technically even if you don't get pregnant you need to use your uterus some way or another.
@@giof4963 more like dog lady but, thanks!
Harley Davidson dude shuuuut tf up lol. Women are just carrying around ‘egg baskets’ wanting to get pregnant their whole lives. Some folks aspire to more than that. Or less. But don’t knock someone who believes they have value beyond that.
Aw I remember she got so much hate for not wanting kids and selfish to think about herself than bringing another life to the world.
Scarlet Johansson said he was more of rival than a partner in their marriage.
Now look at where she is in her career and where Blake is. I’m glad she got out
blshit he comes across as a very fake person. It sometimes feels like he tries to hard.
Oh interesting!
Yes, I read the same. He felt threatened by Scarlet's success and he did not like being the less successful one. ¿Toxic Masculinity perhaps?
I’ve always gotten these vibes from him
Scarlett Johansson was a bruise on his ego coz she was successful but Blake is just the cherry for him since now he can feel really good about himself.
He's probably the kind of guy who calls his wife fat when she's pregnant & say it's only a joke.
Evie St skakskkskskgkgak💀
Accurate
I get that vibe from him…
Blake & Ryan’s “we troll each other and don’t take ourselves seriously” act seems kind of forced.
However no way i am having more than 3 kids if it didn’t happens by the third we’ll screw it
If I only had males i would alos want a female
You'd think but not usually
He was engaged to alanis morissette before his first marriage and seemed more down to earth almost hippie like her at the time. He seems like one of those shape shifters who has to be like his partner and has never been alone long enough to find his true self.

But i kept on dating him for a while. Then broke up because he was being obnoxious. Yet continued to be in talking terms since we had the same circle of friends.

Right or they say you are so sensitive! They turn it back on you.
I dated a white man one time in my life. Would NEVER do it again because of THIS RIGHT HERE you all have at it. Godspeed.
Blake is more "conservative" than she appears to be. I realized it when she launched Preserve. She did Vogue to promote it and said her husband is
" going to be a great father and leader and patriarch-he's so meant to be all of those things".

Ryan would be nothing without Deadpool he milks that role so much that he even tries too hard to be funny online to reference the jokes in the movies. Kinda narcissistic and betta male personality if he can’t handle his wife being on his level or higher than him.
Marlene enelraM 🙌🏻👏🏼 A-fucking-men
Ryan has had a long career before deadpool
Meredith Wilson yes but wasn’t as successful as Scarlett’s.
Meredith Wilson long career but not really that successful
I just had to mention, because you mentioned ‘how he speaks to the waitress is how he will speak to you one day’ my psycho ex was such a lovely person to strangers, like he would literally be up their ass.
*A secure man is sexy!*
A good video as usual, Shallon!💛
Ryan is Canadian
A secure man is sexy 👍👍👍👍
I think she means that in Scandinavia the women archetype has always been strong and sassy, and traditional men can't handle that. Women are wildly more independent nowadays, they are more than do-it-all-housewives, so they don't have to submit to a man like that. In Scandinavia women have traditionally done all the houseworks as a man would all the way until 1960s, because life was hard and humble before industrialism changed that. My grandmother raised 4 boys in a small cottage after grandfather returned from 2WW

I don't want to be rude, I'm not as beautiful as Blake but Ryan is not attractive to me
This makes a lot of sense to me I sense that both of them value traditional gender roles.
Did he really name one of his kids James? Did that happen because he was expecting a boy, if so why not pick a unisex name like Dylan.

My late husband treated me with so much contempt - rolling his eyes and sighing when I talked, not answering me when I asked him a question, etc - and it was like a knife through my heart. I heard about this before. This is why it didn't work with Scarlett. She's too independent for his needy MO. He seems pretty high maintenance. Blake wanted to have a family. However, I hope she wakes up and does not let her career pass her by if she still wants one.
This may be what she actually wants. I hope it is at least.
She just released a movie
She did a what she does in her day video. Thought it was very telling.

They will feel that they weren’t wanted, and that’s traumatic.
he literally never said that lmao. he loves his daughters. blake, herself said she wanted 5 kids bc she wants a big family.
Kudos to the women who are happy with this life, but it's not for me.

far2bizarre Scorpios are so toxic, and I’m a Scorpio moon lol.
Scorpios and Virgos have so much in common..the connection is crazy!!
Scorpio guy tried to hit me in the DM constantly pretending like I do not know he has a wife and a kid at home, this guy is so naive
I don’t think Ryan is funny or remarkably handsome and his voice annoys me. 🙉😬 Sorry, just my opinion.
Cam c: Ryan Gosling?
Omg yas! His voice! I said a similar thing on another comment.
Yes his voice annoys me too, not masculine at all and he has a lot hidden aggression when he talks and jokes.
Shallon: "What do you do when your partner is not supportive"
Me: 😞
Shallon: "Run"
I work in a hospital I attend to many men being admitted who's wife's do everything for them and then they expect female nurses/carers to treat them the same😠
OMG that must be soooo frustrating!!! LOL kinda funny too
Same here. Alarming.
I think she means it more like to feel like u have a purpose and fulfilling it
I was a stay at home mama which was my dream and then I got divorced so that was no longer an option...however I decided to figure out what career I’d want to pursue and I’m currently in nursing school while working part time so I can give my kids a better life and so I can be more fulfilled ❤️ love you Shallon!
I feel like this woman always reaching for example with Vanessa and Austin how Austin was ready to start a family and Vanessa wasn’t, or with Megan and Harry and now this 🙄. Just making judgements in others relationships.
Edit: also she always making subtle shade at mostly every female. 🤔
yes! thank you
Ryan’s tweets always scared me! He is so disrespectful to Blake and his children. I’d be pissed if I were Blake!
His tweets/posts are rarely ever serious and almost always in a joking manner. Blake does the same with her posts, like cropping him out of photos, and both him and Blake don't take themselves too seriously online.
Disrespectful? If he meant it to be disrespectful he wouldn't have posted it, he'd be disrespectful behind closed doors
lmao it's a thing between them it's been for years y'all need to calm down a bit
Maybe Blakė has low self esteem
They are funny and they are joking.... Chill out people
Also too those condescending comments can be passed off as jokes, like he’ll say something in a tone of voice, you’ll call him out on it, and his comeback is “it’s just a joke, I was just joking” gaslighting masking as humour...
Watch Marriage Story! Scarlett is amazing and again it’s about men that don’t support women.
After watching this video....it feels like she wasn't acting. She was speaking from a space of real experience.
It seems that Ryan has rubbed off on Blake as she is no longer as sweet as when you knew her.
I agree! It’s like he intends to be nasty, but disguises it as humor…
Me: watches Shallon videos for a whole day
Also me the next day: I am a psychologist
You should do one on Mariah Carey and nick cannon.
YES.
YES!
Isn't MC an alpha woman? I believe she was too much for him lol
* very. She’s an Aries ♈️ and believes it too.
Dina love I want Shannon to talk about them not you telling me about them in a paragraph.
I've never thought of Blake's career as being on the back burner. Shes highly successful to me.
It's HIS fault he doesn't have a son!
he never blamed her, chill
Since the very beginning, I felt uncertain about that relationship, specially when everyone paint it as "goals".
Only my girl put it in words, tho. 😍
Yeah they've always given me a weird vibe that I can't quite put my finger on.
There are some rumors that his friendship with Jake Gyllenhaal is over since the couple unfollowed him on social media. Their friendship seemed very exposed. It would be cool if you made a video about Jake
L 🙄Jake is awesome person. He probably unfollowed him because Jake was getting more press and famous. Wtf
They unfollow everyone
What Ryan did to Joe Alwyn was disgusting
I’m a health educator and you always get it right! I just like listening to your aspect of things, and am so glad that you pull real shit (Maslow) out for people to understand! I needed you in college! Love listening to an educated woman, with drive, who loves dumb celebrity shit (my dream job 🤩). You inspire me to do more for me.
The dynamic between Ryan and Scarlett Johansson can be shown well in "The Marriage Story" I feel. The movie has similar dynamic you described.
That IS SO TRUE!!!
*WHATEVER* ATTRACTS THEM in the BEGINNING
REPELS Them At The END!!
I think thier is only one star in his head,,, it's him
Everyone wanna find things wrong with couples who appear happy and when things aren’t perfect y’all get so excited.
Hello, there. This is a comment section, right? Comment sections are for what…? Comments…
Hence, people can say whatever they want and express their opinions under the topic of the video. You don’t get to tell others what to say because their views don’t match yours.
@@tam9856 girl I never said you're not allowed to voice your opinion. I just said everyone always mad about something and love to hate. You prove my point. Why you so pressed about my comment? 😒
@@qo2825 You didn’t have to say it… the connotation was clear. The only thing pressed of mine are my blazers. No one is “pressed.” No one is mad. You just don’t like that everyone’s opinion of this public couple doesn’t match yours… so that must mean they’re “mad” or “hating.” 😂
@@tam9856 you can live with your assumptions. Don't involve me in it lol. 😏never seen someone this mad pressed.
When/if I do enter into a relationship I will make the conscious choice to not roll my eyes no matter what my partner says, even if it's a joke.
Thank you Shallon! I hear you I always noticed how the beautiful lady like Blake was all the sudden not modeling, doing projects or movies as much with Ryan. Never again will I shrink myself for a guy because he can't deal with my star power or talents. Hope you all the girls and women watching this stay strong and empowered. Love all your videos hun!!!!!
Take care 💫
I love scarlet for choosing her career over a person. So proud of her! Support is everything
You need to do a video about the latest leaked audio of Johnny and Amber.
