Good review. This seems to be a good value considering GM is likely to throw thousands in incentives on this vehicle. Another positive on this vehicle is that it has a phenomenal all wheel drive system. It is excellent at distributing the traction to each wheel. Not quite Subaru good, but no doubt good enough. GM doesn’t market or advertise their awd system’s capabilities, but independent journalists have discovered how good they are.
That’s awesome!, I’m glad it’s been a good experience! I do wish these had different engine options, maybe the 3.6 V6 and call it the SS. But sadly GM doesn’t feel the same way I do. 🤷♂️😛
Great Review as usual. Noticed you have not been putting in your opening jingle in the last couple of videos. Kinda like those plus the caricature with you holding the checkered flag. Anyways keep up the great work!
Thank you very much! Also for noticing that detail. 🙂 I’m still trying to figure it all out and make better more exciting videos without going to long for it to be worth someone’s time to watch. I figured I would try without my basic intro for a while to see what the response is. I do want to have a legit intro/outro made by a graphic designer at some point. I’m just not certain of what I want that to be yet, and still trialing different ideas and fine tuning my style. It’ll likely include a similar cartoon type graphic of me, especially since I think I will continue to stay off camera intentionally. Hence the Anonymous lol. 😎
I have a 2024 and the RS is around $35K for less that $2K more you can go top of the line Premier and gain so many more options and capabilities. May as well go for everything and be happy with it vs some of the shortfalls I see in this RS model. Mine has AC vented seats, heated from and rear outboard seats. Add to that the driver assist and other safety features, hands down the Premier is the way to go.
The back reminder isn’t by weight of item in the back seat. It’s anytime the back door is open before the car is in motion once shut off it reminds you
I own a 2019, love it. Have any of yiu seen the 2025 ICE version thats coming out early in 2024? It is smoking hot. It looks alot like the new 2024 Traverse and there will be an Activ offroad version. The 2024 EV version will come out this fall i think
It is only on RS models with the tech and infotainment package. 😊 it adds the bigger screen, USBs in center bin console, household 110 plug in the back seat, and a few other things.
i have a 2021 crosstrek base but i highly regret it and have been having problems with it since day 1. There is a nearby dealership selling the RS for 25k, is it worth it to jump to that car or wait and see if I can get a hybrid from somewhere else?
I’m sorry to hear that. I honestly wouldn’t personally bet that the 1.5T Equinox would be any more reliable than the average Subaru. But I also don’t know much about the intricacies of this platform. I know the older 1.4T from the Sonic/cruze line up had a lot of engine accessory failures with age, but most of them are not huge expenses if caught early. Best of luck in whatever you decide! 🙂
@AutomotiveAnonymous208 the 1.4T from the 1st generation Cruze and all the Sonics was the LUV engine, while the 2nd gen Cruze got the much improved LE2 engine. They addressed most of the major issues regarding cooling system problems and PCV failures. I've replaced a handful of injectors on the LE2s, but that's just GDI stuff 😂 beyond that they're mostly trouble free.
My mom's 2023 engine blew up at 4,000 miles. We dont really know why. The dealer said they had a hard time finding a new engine. The piston rod punched a hole in the block. Its been past 90 days since the dealer has had the car so shes thinking of getting a lawyer and pursuing lemon laws and buying something eles.
I’m sorry I don’t recall if it has that feature. I’m sure you could find an answer on Chevys website or looking at a vehicles specs/window sticker on a dealers website? Best of luck!
Can you please tell me what the little compartments are on the top of the arm rest. I’m guessing one is for a wallet or money but not sure what the other is for😂
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208Correct, we are going to have 2 2024 Imprezas soon in our household. I did my research and they fixed this issue by 2014. I bluntly askes the salesman and he confirmed it! They work on salary so more believable I guess…
I just bought a 2024 chevy equinox rs I love it best suv I have ever owned
Nice! I’m glad to hear that.
did you get it at a good price? im looking for a new one and dont want to be F by the dealership lol
Thank you for sharing. I bought a leftover’24 LS. It’s been nice so far.

You’re right, it has a lot of good things going for it!
Good review. Own a 22 Equinox LT,excellent value for the$$. Love mine,no issues with it at all.😅

That would be great, but unfortunately the 3.6 engine is also to be phased out. The new 24 Traverse has only a 4 cyl turbo, 2.5 or 2.7 4 cyl turbo. 😮

SUV, not CUV.
nah, i see a bunch of RS models for sale between 30K and 32K
Love your videos your videos you are so naturally funny 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m so glad you enjoy them! 😂😊

Oh, very insightful! Thanks for sharing!
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 you’re welcome. Great content looking forward to seeing more
Thanks for the review.
I love the hobby lobby stitching in this one😂😂😂😂
😆
Most SUVs in this class have about the same horsepower ( within 15 hps) what I like about this SUV is the price
Yeah, they all seem to be built to be comparable to the other brands and not offer drastically more than one another for around the same price. 🤷♂️🙂
I have a 2024 chevrolet Equinox RS RADIANT RED TINTCOAT. It's very nice ...
I think that front passenger seat back folds forward and flat. A good selling point if it does.

Here is 2025 version, it won't allow me to upload, bummer!
I’m glad you’re enjoying your 19! I haven’t looked into the next gen yet, but it sounds exciting! 🙂
Just purchased a 2024 Equinox RS and I cannot seem to locate the homelink.. Isn't this on all RS and premier versions?
That I’m not sure, I hope someone else can answer your question! Thanks for watching! 🙂

My 22 rs has a panoramic roof must have been an extra.
$1500 extra for the pano roof 🤑 worth it though.
I just bought a 2024 LT.
Nice! 😎

When will this come out?
What do you mean? The EV version or something else?

Update?
Does it have parking assist?

As the owner it could be whatever you can reasonably put in them! 😉😛
👍🏻👍🏻
I just bought one Iam from Canada 40 thousand here
Looks like it could be a Teflon flavored jelly bean.
I think you’re right, lol. 😂
@AutomotiveAnonymous208
Don't tell anyone. It's secretly Grandma's favorite.
🤢 🤮 … her secrets safe with me. She probably drives an Equinox. 👵😉
@AutomotiveAnonymous208
Don't know what she drives, but I know she likes those who are good at keeping secrets.
I don't know why you'd buy this over a Forester.
I agree, I personally wouldn’t. However they outsell the Forester 1.5-2 to 1. 🤔😛
CVT that’s why…
Because the Forester has that horrible 2.5 Boxer engine that's notorious for premature head gasket failure!!
That was a legit issue, about 10 years ago, unless you know something that I don’t?! Lol. 😅
