Today Halo Infinite had it's new mid season update, and it brought back a LOT of previous bundles, in fact it's almost every single one from season 1 and 2! which means yiu can now get the old reach bundles, various mk7 armor sets and much much more!
Will you be purchasing any of these bundles?

@@THEBR00KIE You actually have to go to the Armour and then open it For example if you go over to warmaster and then click X it will take you to the bundle
I think if they make all bundles available at all times but make the shop put everything on sale that they’ll have the shop in a pretty good spot
While it would be nice to be able to buy individual items, this makes everyone able to buy what they want, but you can wait to see if a bundle you’re saving for will show up in the shop on sale one day
The shop should also display new items.

I have never been so blown away by an update like I have with this one. I would've waited an eternity for this 😩
Note that we will be able to buy mirage and chimera, or everything of s3 once s4 starts, so technically the shop should only bring repeated or new current season bundles
I think a good idea that could make the store slightly more bearable, would be to make the current in-store items 'cheaper' than the bundles before they rotate out of the store. This way, you won't have to be afraid of missing out on objects, but only miss out on a cheeper version of a bundle.
Speaking of prices, I still believe a good chunk of these bundles should be lowered in price a little more. €10 ($10) is too much for a set of armour in my opinion. I think €5-€7 ($5-$7) would be appropriate.
I had made basically this exact suggestion three months ago. That they should catalog previous season cosmetics from the store where you can access them at any time to purchase. It’s good to see that they finally are doing some of that.

I finally got the update working and I wanted deepcore red bundle, so I was excited.
Yeahhhhh that didn't happen. They are selling the deepcore coatings individually still... I'm not going to drop 3200 Credits for what used to be an 800CR bundle.
BUTTTT I was able to buy two 400CR bundles with some left over credits I had, and I was finally able to get the banished backdrop I wanted, and the SAP/MT Reach shoulders.
I think the reason they did this is because they know there are going to be certain weapon coatings no one gives a crap about. I for one have too many weapon coatings to the point that if I buy a bundle that comes with additional weapon coatings,they become meaningless to me. So although they should have kept it as a bundle,I like what they did here because now that means if I like just one coating,I can buy that one coating
My eaglestrike core is almost complete, I hope one day the fracture pass returns for it since I got busy on the last few rounds of it and now only have one shoulder pad and am locked from the other lol, I'm willing to pay for the rest of the pass I missed out on lol.
Where do you go to see all this? The shop looks normal to me. EDIT: Oh wait, I got it. Just go to the colors you don't own and are locked and click it.
I did the same thing 😂 you just go under customization and look at the 🔒 if it says "available to purchase" lol
In the customizations menu just go to any armor your missing/locked and its gonna say buy bundle or whatever
I've already bought everything armor wise lol. Events should be the only fomo since it lasts two whole weeks. The fractures last like a month in different intervals.
I can make my dream Spartan easily now, I mean, with some money but at least I don't have to wait for it, going to use it on the 5k ranking 🗿
Clonely Bear is a MUST for me. I've been foaming at the mouth for that forever since I missed it.... Instant purchase. So excited!! Love and miss Daisy ❤️
I'd love to buy it, but the CQB helmet that should go with it is locked to another core. Such an insane oversight to this core system that it hurts.

Ngl it would be so cool it they added a "Paint/Pattern" option for the armour pieces, stuff like the commando, recon shoulder plates used to have a white paint design on em in Reach but not Infinite

finally, been waiting for the highcom sentinel bundle to comeback in store but this is even better
Nice to have Firefall and the highcom sentinel shoulders now, that combo looks so good to me.
Watching this video made me realize how much I've spent on this game... I litterally have 90% of these already 😭

Finally store got updated and finally we get permanent items and no need to rush to buy them
I picked up the Vampire Mirage/Velvet Glove bundle as soon as it was available today. Too bad not all items are available due to aforementioned exceptions especially the Season 1 and 2 HCS armor and weapon bundles due to how they were with corresponding/participating teams...
But never say never. No more FOMO for the most part.
Massive frame rate drop with this update for PC. Hopefully it’s resolved soon
Look, Halo Infinite isn’t my favorite game, but the fact that they even slightly bucked the FOMO trend and listened to the fans makes me want to drop money on this stuff (and I probably will.)
I'm so glad I didn't buy the ace card bundle when it was 1000 credits, I'll definitely be buying that later
Haha, I actually just bought the stuff that was worth it and I ended up winning in the end, now a lot of stuff has a lower price and I didn't waste credits
I'm SUPER happy about this change. There are so many awesome cosmetics that I missed out on Season 1 and Season 2, now I can finally get them. Although, I don't think my wallet is gonna like this update.
Fomo has always been a cancerous concept for gaming so I'm glad it's not apart of infinite anymore.
I still think the rarity system needs a revamp so uncommon to epic items are earnable through gameplay.
SOME legendary items should either purchased or earned.
Certainly a step but the game needs to focus on gameplay features like making an in depth progression system WITH ACTUAL REWARDS.
They should also stop with playlist rotation, they don't help with sustaining population and only frustrate those who want to play a specific mode.

I see your point but knowing how trash the slipspace engine is,I think this is a better approach. Imagine having almost every single mode available with FFA,land grab and LSS being dead modes that took resources to implement as permanent playlists. Only reason I say this is because based on what 343 had said,at the time lss had already died down,and FFA never has as many players as team slayer. Land grab is just popular for a bit before also kicking the bucket
Playlist rotation also helps with the UI, and looking at every public release of data that relates to the playlists, it very much does affect the population.
omg the combat knife is back. I can finally make my all knives armor set
I was kinda hoping for a Warframe Market kind of set up where it would be a massive catalog of things, but I kinda like this better

Pretty much all of those were either cosmetics earned through ultimates or events so makes sense why they aren't available.
Picked up hazop as soon as i heard about this. All i need for my reach spartan is military police and im finished.
We need our beloved Operator, we have the shoulders but not the helmet, and it's such a cool helmet

Bought the Sky Marshal bundle earlier for the Eaglestrike core, now only if they make event items from Season 1 and 2 obtainable again since I never did those events except Winter Contingency due to the pre-Winter Update challenge system being hot garbage.
Hopefully we see the event bundles coming back even as limited time bundles instead. As I understand that those who did grind for it will most likely complain. I hope to see it come out in either season 5 or 6 just so those that have it can enjoy it's rarity a bit more
I want epsilon spring bundle for mk5 b, or the green camo you find in campaign, if that ever becomes available. Or if they just did cross core properly i could have my reach scout helmet with a mk 7 camo body, maybe get the guillie suit on it too
I’m kinda debating buying the operator bundle but I’m waiting for the ODST armour coating set to come out but the good thing is I can buy the operator whenever I want! So I might wait for ODST and buy operator later

If I get back into the game again, I’ll probably be buying stuff from it. I played once or twice in the last month, but I’ll save up into the summer so I can comfortably blow some cash on it
I was really hoping for the spacestation coating would be available which I'm disappointed about.
For some reason they decided they aren't bringing back older HCS stuff.
It seems like anything from past seasons will be brought in like this, so next season all the season 3 bundles will be available

Is it the pink coating that was on an ultimate challenge or an event one?

But it's the red and gold one, but then again, (I would if I could get everything for the samurai armor core.)
@@wisdomvisionf. You can actually get that coating with this update.
If it's the Ironman type of coating: just search for the coating, select it and use the button that you would use to equip something so it sends you to the bundle.
If it's the other less shiny red and gold one: you can do the same, it's that easy, you can just look at every item you have locked and see the bundle it came from and buy it if you want

Biggest dissapointment for me is that the M90 Shroud for Sidekick is still vaulted, because it was part of a daily bundle in 17th April and I didn't know it (I saw the POP bundle in store that day but I thought it's only the coating...)
It'll likely return this season and maybe be permanent next season
I somekind of misinterpreted that, i thought we can now buy items that were in a bundle alone, not buying whole old bundles 😅

It's definitely progress. I wasn't expecting this much to be enabled on launch of the update.
And I don't like to complain about progress ... but it does seem a bit janky that all the legacy armor stayed bundled, while the legacy weapon coatings are all sold for the expensive single piece prices. If it's going to all be permanently available, why mix it up like that instead of offering the choice of either bundled or piece by piece on all of it?
I picked up zvezda because I missed that on sale and I'd actually use all but a few pieces from it. I'm thinking for the rest though, I'll mostly wait and see if more choice about how to get them - and maybe some info about whether crosscore is ever coming for coatings - comes along with future updates. After all, it's not like it's going anywhere now.
Seriously tempted by the icy effect on the forearms to go along with bleached bone for an arctic-looking set, though.

Those are most likely ultimate rewards and event stuff.
This is kinda cool ig, but the only thing that’ll get me to reinstall is a pve mde at this point
So you might come back during season 4/5 more and likely 5. Extraction is making the moest progress but a firefight mode is also being made.
I just wish 343 would add a way to earn credits without having to purchase them constantly

All of them are permanent already. So take your time with it. I'd actually just save up to buy the current season 3 bundles as you don't know which of them are considered event side bundles or will be vaulted. Plus most of them is better than some season 1 and 2 bundles with more items in it

Theres a chance cross core itself may never come because of the limitations, they responded recently in a discord lunch break that they have no news on cross core which probably means it just isn't possible at the moment, the stuff in the update is permanent though.

The older Esports related bundles also haven't returned which isn't surprising

The clonely bear got reduced from 1,000 to 500, the knife costs 700 right now (with other items in the bundle)

The coating that came with the Mark V Zeta event will make it to Yoroi, so just maybe there is a chance it will come back, doubt it tho

What happened to the days of Armor not locking behind macro? Even Halo 5 gave you option to both free and pay cause loot boxes, and I liked Halo 5 less than Infinite. Infinite gameplay may be better than Halo 5, but macro is by far the worst one. And I don't like the excuse of it being free, cause if that's the case then I wish it wasn't even free. Wished they would atleast try to make armor selection feel like OG Halo by atleast giving us option to get them for free though, just pay to get them alot faster without the grind. Halo customization is so great that people will complain about that if locked behind macro. Lol XD
I mean, halo Infinite is free that's the primary difference. Not saying they shouldn't add ways to earn the cosmetics without spending money, I've already made various videos in the past talking about how they could do it
That being said as of now there is definitely many more free options.
