How Accidentals Work on Different Staves

  • Hi everyone, today I want to talk a little about accidentals. So far we have only talked about how accidentals act when they are on one staff. But what happens when you have more than one staff of music? Maybe it’s a piece of piano music with a treble staff and bass staff. Or maybe it’s an ensemble you want to play and there are more than two staves. How do accidentals work in those situations?

    for my sheet music, many accidentals carried to another staff

    does anything change if you have something like C# below the treble staff and and unmarked C above the bass staff? probably best to clarify with a natural/sharp to avoid confusion.

    It would be amazing if you could translate your videos to other languages. For example my girlfriend only speaks spanish, but I know she would love these videos
