    Great video, thanks so much for taking the time to film these. I like to see how much hand labor goes into the preparation of the ground. It really helps me understand how much effort goes into each pour. Cement work appears to be a rather difficult task and quite a skill.

    Impeccable workmanship and attention to detail. Just wish Odell was positioned to serve my needs here on the east coast since I've had several recent incidents of shabby workmanship from sub standard contractors.

    Could I use this technique to make a whole patio? Like lay down a criss-cross of brick squares, then come back and fill in the squares with concrete after the bricks have dried?

    • @OdellCompleteConcrete
      @OdellCompleteConcrete  6 лет назад

      yes but you should add steel to come out from under the brick to tie the slabs together

      Its a diamond blade in wedge shape so you can 45 degree the saw cuts or whatever else.

    It would be very helpful if you could add time to the video That way we know when next step should be,for example you pour your mix at 13:30:00 then you do your edges at like 16:30:00 for example,that way we know you are supposed to do ur edges like 3 hours after you pour your mix down. And maybe brush the surface at 20:30:00 for example,then we would learn ur supposed to brush it after 7 hours..The times are just for an example.. and i know it depends on weather but it’d be more helpful and it could give us a rough idea of timing control,we would learn more than just knowing what steps/procedures it takes but how long to wait between each step. Many thanks. Great effort!

    🤔🤔 Uncle David I had a question to ask you and this is just a a question why did you use a concrete truck to pour those two little pieces couldn't you have used a portable cement mixer and use a couple of bags of concrete then again maybe you use the truck because you probably was using it from a different project correct please tell me that because having a truck come out and pump those two little pieces you must have a lot of money on your hands😂😂

    next thing he's gonna use a concrete pump for is a single fence post. you heard it here first, folks. he set a world record here for "smallest job utilizing a concrete pump", but he's still gonna find a smaller job to use it on.
    (seriously, I can't believe you used a pump for this. lol)
