We normally don't comment on videos for "dollar store finds" but there was some really solid advice here from a knowledgeable working artist, and we wanted to acknowledge that! We appreciated that there was a distinction between utility supplies and art materials, because every pro knows that there's a direct connection between art materials cost and the quality of ingredients (and performance and permanence). We were intrigued by the moisture absorber tip, because every artist (especially ones working on paper a lot) dreads moisture damage, and every artist should have a situation management plan for a wet sketchbook or similar. Thanks again for an informative video!
I absolutely loooove $tree. They have so many great things even before they went to the $1.25. Since they did, it has even gotten better. But as always, you need to pay attention to value regardless if where your shopping. Anyway thanks for this it's always helpful 2 see what other people do/use for art areas and items. Have a great day
I had no idea, because we never go to Dollar Store. And art does feel like hard to access sometimes. There are so many tools on my wish list I put aside for years, I know they are not going to last forever and could be better, but It is much harder not to have the tools I need.

No problem! The way I see it personally, the more I save on decent studio supplies, the more I can invest in art supplies that will make me happy!
