I think it's shameful how many Swedes were of the opinion that Kalla should not be selected for these Olympics. So what if she was selected more for historic results than for current form? After a career like hers and all she has done for Sweden, she has earned herself that privilege! If Sweden's biggest female Olympian of all times wants to finish her career with a fourth Olympic Games, we should all be happy to see her represent us for maybe the last time. And it wouldn't surprise me one bit if she contributes to yet another medal!
I agree! But what the other people dont think about is the fact that she wasnt elected just because of her history, when it all comes down to it . Swedens team were allowed 4 sprinters and 4 long distance - and when it comes to long distance she is the 4th in. Johanna Hagström who had to stay at home is a sprinter and unfortunately for her, 4 other girls showed higher quality. In sprint. And this is where people get "stuck". They're comparing Hagström to Kalla and vice versa and not thinking about what kind of skiers they are.
She is past her prime, not realistic that she has any chance against Johaug or Frida & Ebba... but hopefully she can make some TOP results in distance races, some TOP 10 or TOP 5 finishes,no?
That 2014 relay still gives me goosebumps.
Wishes Her A Best in Beijing 2022
I still cry like a baby over her race in 2014
Love Calla from Finland 😍
Much respect from a J. Diggins fan, love to see Kalla still dominating
Eh....I suppose you don't watch Ski world cup and world championship. Calla never "dominate". She won many years ago last time.
@@lexiusugrymius9392 With 3 golds and 6 silvers, it's fair to say she has dominated the last three Olympics. Together with Marit Björgen.
Let's hope Diggs can take an individual medal and defend the sprint relay gold well!

Let's go for Beijing 2022!
Respect 🙏
Love it!!
BEIJING!
Cheer! You would be the best!
No disrespect towards a great skier, but I think Kalla is past her prime. There are other Swedish women who can take over her role as leader.
Yup, but she remains as an inspiration for them. When you listen to e.g. Ebba you hear, how much respect they have for Charlotte
@@igorpiasecki7909 she's their idol ofc.. all Swedes look up to her
She was great. Now she is just a tourist in China.
Pls make a video for the great athlete marit bjoergen of norway
She's retired... they make clips about active athletes.
@@djordjenikolic9059 Björgen is actually still active in long distance skiing.

There's an outside chance she will make the relay team and take a 10th Olympic medal.
