Drill a step further.... the coaches came up wit a game plan "let him beat us with his legs".. dropping everyone deep and doing no containment at all and then not adjusting after the game plan was shown to be just plain stupid.
Tiger's Dbs have progressed a lot from last year.. the way to win this game is to jam and disrupt the route running freeing up players to establish containment along with send ing extra pressure and beat up Milroe. (LSU players should not have to be told to retaliate on Milroe for the shots that knocked Daniels out of the game last year) in Short.. LSU needs to play like they used too..
Even if that tropical storm hits Louisiana it’s not gonna be no more than a strong thunderstorm because it’s gonna get ripped apart by sheer and cooler waters
Hopefully the defense shows they’re improved but also need Nuss to protect the ball and get the running game going and if they can do that I think they win by double digits
Matt your such a Milroe hater lay off the Hater-Aid brother. Here's the deal this game is going to be about which Quarterback shows up in big games. If it's Milroe hill repeat his performance. If it's Nus He will throw for over 300 yards and no pics it's really that simple at this point LSU does not run RPO well in practice or even in the game therefore there defense does not defend well against it.And there is not much difference between RPO and a running Quarterback from the stand point of how your defense needs not to be over aggressive and not over commit they need to be very locked in to containment and being smart as to who has the football. And the person assigned to spy on Milroe especially needs to take this task conservatively not over aggressively.
I like how you people think it's hating when he's stating the statistics on Milroe. Simple thing is, it's not in Tuscaloosa and this isn't the same horrible defense Bama faced last season. Milore and Deboer have never played in Baton Rouge at night before. I'm willing to bet they both make mistakes in play calls and get overwhelmed by the environment. Nuss only needs to protect the ball because these poor decision interceptions are getting out of hand, but if he does his job LSU will get the win. It will not be a high scoring game.
Facts LSU defense made Milroe famous last year. Wasn’t getting near the attention until that game

Matt, do you think we should have a backup plan, should Alabama try to change quarterback mid game ?
LSU will just blitz the backup. Also, the backup hasn’t played all year. You can't really prepare for whzt you haven't seen.
Hopefully the defense shows they’re improved but also need Nuss to protect the ball and get the running game going and if they can do that I think they win by double digits
Well, I guess the Tigers might be able to run somewhat successfully against Alabama. Let's just wait and see what will happen in the game!
Milroe plays well in death valley, hope D will contain him, but not all too confident
What are you talking about he only played once in Death Valley 🤦🏾♂️
@@nicholasreynolds301 yep and trucked Perkins and the rest of the D
