- What is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit? Believers often live in fear that they have committed blasphemy and therefore are not going to Heaven. Listen as Bob explains exactly what this 'hard passage' means. It's good news for believers!

Thank you ,for this interpretation ,💓
I said to myself in my head “the Holy Spirit is not real” and I heard “I’ve departed” afterward in my head, I haven’t felt the presence of God since, have I blasphemed God and made Him leave me?
Good News!
I love you guys!
But what if a believer says something bad about the Holy Spirit?
I believe in context of the scripture, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is judging Gods spirit as unclean.
Mark 3:
28 Truly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the children of man, and whatever blasphemies they utter, 29but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”- 30for they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
I believe people can blasphemy against the name of Jesus but if they meet a true follower of Christ and reject and deem that persons spirit as unclean and it’s the spirit of God that is dwelling in them, it would be blasphemy against the holy spirit.
No it's not the same as a scribing other people as possessed by demons. It had to do with seeing the Messiah revealed and describing him to Satan. What is not when a person comes to receive Jesus as their savior, Jesus died for their all sins. Colossians 2:12. Jesus said "It is finished''
@@Jeff-fu8is I’m not sure if we are disagreeing here or agreeing. I can’t quite understand what you are trying to convey the way you are wording your sentence.
Actually I looked at the last part of your paragraph and it looks like a correlates with what I'm trying to get at
when my mouth was open, I had a blashphamous thought that attributed deliverance to s4t4n, and my mouth was open and im scared i might have said it out loud or lip sync to it, and when my mouth was open or was moving i had a blashphamous thought thst attributed tge holy spirit to 3v1l, im scared, what if the said it an dforogot i did
no i feel it has to be knowingly rejecting jesus so i think your good dont worry :)
@@SOMNUS-FICTOR thank you so much
Hey, you did NOT commit this sin, we need to see the context.
The Pharisees were jealous of Jesus and his powers. They were DETERMINED to discredit Jesus. The Pharisees KNEW 100% that Jesus was working though the Holy Spirit. But still attributed his work to S4T3N.
It was out of their stubborn, hardened heart.
Listen to what Jesus says here:
“You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”
It’s out of the condition of the heart, a heart that is so hard against Jesus, hatred and rebellion that ultimately produces what is the unforgivable sin. But you my friend, the fact that your concerned? That’s the sign that you still have that rope to repent and ask for forgiveness.
I have went through the same as you, but God delivered me, showed me many miracles and l still till this day can hear Gods voice. Your fine be at peace 🤝
the father/ created the house
jesus/ has the key to the house
the holy spirit/ grants access to enter the house

Ok
Yeah how can something be knot given ?
Throughout my research on this topic, here are some key issues that should be mentioned number one. This sin was only committed in the presence of Jesus Christ as he was on earth. Number two, the Pharisees and scribes already knew that Jesus Christ was the Messiah/son of God because Nicodemus said so in John chapter 3 that they were already aware of it. Number four they witnessed the power and presence of God, the Son and God The Holy Spirit in front of them, and those religious leaders on purpose denied the truth of what they saw, knowing what it was actually that they were seeing. Even with all of the perfect evidence before they’re very eyes, they attributed Christ Work to an unholy source. This and its exact manner cannot be replicated today. I do not believe it is something that would be by mistake or by other means the context of this sin as it is shown in Mark, Matthew, and Luke is seeing Jesus Christ perform miraclesby the power of God, the Holy Spirit and then hardheartedness reject and speak against the truth of what they have seen
That was easy.
I also think this interpretation is wrong. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God, it is the teacher within each of us. The voice within that tells you right from wrong and lets you know when you are doing wrong. The blasphemy of the Holy Spirt is hardening yourself against that voice because you fo not want to give up that sin what ever it is. You are not repentant for doing it and you want to continue. You turn away from the constant wisper "this is wrong". You turn away from the voice of God within and become unrepentant. God is still trying to save you by reminding you it is wrong but you refuse to listen and die unrepentant. God can not forgive a sin you are unrepentant for comming, and actually chose the sin over your loving Fathers efforts to try to get you to turn back to his promptings within to keep you on the path. It is an unfirgivable sin because tou are "NOT" sorry and have "NOT" asked forgiveness. You turned away from God and died unrepentant.
So we can be forgiven if we repent our sins?
@@sheiskindagirl8415 yes
But in Hebrews chapter 13 God promises that he'll never leave us
@@thehunter7016 im not a teologian, in my understanding GOD will not leave us it is his promiese, but we are a creature of free will and we are free to choose, will we leave him or not?

Dont worry i have Dead God in Tboi ❤Repent for your sins
But the problem is the name Jesus christ is not his real name, the true Hebrew name of the Son of Adam is Yahusha Ha'mashiach.
Because emperor Constantine change the true Hebrew name of Yahusha Ha'mashiach, they created a new name deity for their religion.
Then they translated that into English, and now that's what us English speakers use to talk about Jesus.
@@journey8 the translation of the name Jesus is Earth Pig in Greek Latin. There is No letter J in paleo Hebrew. Do your research.
I would have to disagree with this teaching. The blasphemy of the Holy Ghost had to do with the Pharisees giving praise to Beelzebub for the works that Jesus was doing.
“But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.”
Matthew 12:24
“And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges. But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.”
Matthew 12:25-32 KJV

The Pharisees were claiming the Jesus was casting out devils by the prince of Beelzebub. Then Jesus replies by saying how can Satan cast out Satan, or else he will he divided and his kingdom will not stand. He then goes by explaining that that would be the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost. The blasphemy of the Holy Ghost has to do with the Pharisees giving praise to Satan for the works that Jesus did. It has nothing to do with rejecting Jesus Christ and being saved since the gospel is not mentioned in the context and also that Jesus has not died on the cross yet to fulfill the first testament.
It also has to do with speaking against the Holy Ghost.
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

amen brother the bible interprets itself and I couldn't agree more in your explanation.
@@johnbarrera1 Amen brother. The bible does interpret itself. There are two ways to read the bible, "Application versus Interpretation." Most of the time people might say, "That's not what it means to me". When a person says that, they are basically saying it with the application. What they don't realize is how does the Bible interpret itself? Just like in the context of this video. The chapter has nothing to do with rejecting Jesus Christ. The book of Matthew is a book that is written to the Jews, not Christians. If people would understand that, they would realize that Jesus speaks of Himself as King of the Jews in the book of Matthew, which means that the promises were given to the Jews, not Christians. The book of Matthew has to do with Jesus setting up His physical Kingdom one day for His people, which are the Jews, which comes at a future time.
Hi so it intentional sin? Or it doesn't matter
So do you think if someone has said something bad about The Holy Spirit, there is no forgiveness for them anymore, while they are alive even though they are aware for their sin and want forgiveness?
@@tulipv4475
We definitely know it's a speaking sin because Jesus said in matthew 12:32 not to speak against the Holy Spirit yet, it is recorded in mark 3:30 that it was because they said He had an unclean.
Yet, I wouldn't risk speaking negatively against the Spirit (although why would we knowing the consequences of everlasting gehenna fire) though until we know for sure so we must continue battling temptation everyday and cling to the bible alone even if it gets dangerous to do so! HALLELUYAH!!!!
IF YOUR SAVED DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN'T LOSE YOUR SALVATION. MORE CHRISTIANS WILL NOT BE SAVED WHO THINK THEY ARE. ITS CALLED LUKEWARM.

THAT INCLUDES SPEAKING................AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT.
NOTE: IT DOESN'T SAY THE REJECTION OF JESUS SO YOU REJECTED THE HOLY SPIRIT.
I DO NOT AGREE.
THAT IS SO SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i GUESS I REALLY DID LOSE MY SALVATION ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO........... THAT EXPLAINS ALLOT SINCE..........
No. Look at the context. Its not just saying something against the holy spirit like "your dumb" its way more serious and includes intentionally attributing jesus works to the evil one.
Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit example
After you are baptizes in the Holy Spirit the first sign that you received the Holy Spirit is that you speak in tongues at least after you received it(Acts 2:4 , Mark 16:17 , 1 Corinthians 14:2 , Acts 19:6 and lot more verses).
Yesterday I asked a lady if she spoke/prayed i tongues during a online game. Her reply was that she thought speaking in tongues is demonic.
So she did blasphemy against the Holy Spirit because she said it was from the devil. And now I think that there are way more of those who think the same. This was a lady from Arkansas, I am from Holland. This is how the Lord connects 2 people to solve a problem. Too bad she didn't want to listen to me. But thank God for prayer.
Father in Heaven I pray to You and in the Name of Your Son Jesus Christ, that every believer will learn about baptism in the Holy Spirit and be filled by It so the Spirit can do the praying for us and be of better service to Our Lord God for His full glory. Amen
Baptism in the Holy Spirit from Kenneth E Hagin is a good book about this subject
