I've never done ribbon fiber, but it looks easy enough. Done lots of single mode and multi mode. Loose tube amd tight buffer. Corrugated and Direct burial. We do more copper than anything. But love f I ber work.
That would be the BLUE fiber not violet. If you watch carefully that is the first fiber he's sending through the holding area. The colors look to be only for reference of the coding scheme.

its all going through the SAME OPENING. the color code is just there to show you the order.
