yes! and even if these newbies do know NOW, they will NEVER EVER get the chance to experience what we did back in 99 - 2002! I remember being 11 Year 7 times and ma Mum would HIDE that so solid they dont know single cause of bare swearing on the They Dont Know remix track LOOOOOL
I got into Garage in 98 when I was 15, hearing it in my Saturday job in a sports shop in Croydon. Quickly got the DJ gear and spent every Friday after school going to Big Apple records on Surrey Street market buying the latest tunes and listening to Upfront 97.3fm. It was an expensive hobby for a school kid, but one I look back on fondly. Luckily Croydon clubs didn't really check for IDs in those days so I enjoyed it in its prime, with The Blue Orchid and Atlantis. Great memories...
I listened to the whole interview at 6am this morning and it is one of the very best music-related interviews I have ever heard and deserves to be heard by millions of people. The insight into the music business in the late 90s early 00s was priceless. They confirmed alot of what I thought about the business. Good luck to O & N.
These were my heroes when i was 13-14 or 15? i dont know anymore, also im from germany so no one knew them. it was like my treasure, garage etc. i dont listen to any german music since this age. they teached me english, its not perfect but i defntly can speak better then the majority here. luv ya so much.
I had a tape back in 1999 dj big kid, billy the kid and neutrino when they were at supreme fm, Still to this day I am pissed my walkman ate the tape and it was the best set ever, tunes like Hobson's choice, madness on the street, and melody were on there
I read in a book (Simon Reynolds - Energy Flash) that Oxide got the idea for the Casualty sample when he was djing on pirate radio, and a caller phoned in and had Casualty on in the background, and it fitted in time perfectly with the beat that Oxide was playing.
I remember getting a girl from school to sit and home and copy the CD onto a cassette tape. Still a few years before anyone knew what an mp3 player was!
Can we just spread the real information that Neutrino made 'Dilemma', not any members of So Solid Crew. Neutrino basically made an 8-Bar instrumental for the 2-Step era of U.K. Garage. Oxide and Neutrino are the main pioneers of Dark Garage.
@Shabz Learn to use your ears more and your mouth less. The perspective that were interested in listening to is Oxides and neutrinos , The geezer f*cked up the rhythm of the conversation bare times, mad irritating! Next interview RELAX your mouth,.
Shabz and the way he speaks is so annoying. Let the guests speak. No one wants to hear you and your opinions, everyone has grown up and speaks like grown ups he sounds like he's trying to hard and he still tryna be a teenager. Stop it
The current generation will never know! Legends in the game. The 90's and early noughties were a special period

I'm an old school hip hop head, but I have respected Oxide & Neutrino for twenty years... Innovators, never duplicators in their field. #respect

Somebody else should’ve done this interview, my man keeps talking over them, it’s mad annoying!!
Mr Shabz destroys the interview.
was looking to see if anyone noticed. Mad i see your name bro lol
SO ANNOYING.
Shabz provided a lot of context about how it was back then, however, I can understand why people are annoyed by his energy.
This is rare. Oxide n Neutrino hardly do interviews
And the guy with the hat ruined it!!
How have they not even aged tho
because it's filmed in black and white lol
Serum..............
They don't do drugs
