The Jonathan Ross Show is a British chat show presented by Jonathan Ross. It was first broadcast on ITV on 3 September 2011 - in the late Saturday evening timeslot - following the conclusion of Ross' BBC One chat show, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, in July 2010.
The show is filmed at The London Studios. In November 2011, it was announced that Ross had signed a new two-year contract to host another two series of 10 episodes each and a Christmas special.

watching this 10 years on seeing my man kayvan getting the respect hes always deserved. not only a stellar straight actor and comedic actor but a handsome devil to boot. love him to pieces.
i actually saw him on the tube once, it was quiet just before facejacker and i couldn't work up the courage to say hi, so i just stood in the same carriage as him to be near him lol. you know hes good when hes not overshadowed by the titan that is matt berry.
The facejacker makeup artists don't get enough love, combine their amazing skill with Kayvan's flawless accents and acting prowess and you have an amazing show in the works.

@@zx7-rr486 Mate, I'm a leftie and would f**king LOVE Fonejacker to come back! The only reason it wouldn't be made today is because I'm 90% sure Kayvan wouldn't be interested. He's older now, a bit more shy and in interviews tends to shy away from doing impressions. He's also been doing well in the US with What We Do In The Shadows, and when that's done there's no doubt he'll either take a nice break or have other stuff over there waiting in the wings.

Comedy standards have (been) changed (for us) indeed in the last 5 years. Most of facejacker/fonejacker comedy wouldn't fly off the ground nowadays.
I think the only reason why it wouldn't be done today is because YT ruined the prank genre. He'd have to up the anti to keep folks watching, plus there's the risk of getting caught.

And hey, who's to say they would be the same characters, Kayvan would undoubtedly have new roles to prank people as if the show came back, otherwise there would be little point. However I don't think he feels there would be a need to. Fonejacker was obviously his way to show the acting world how versatile he could actually be, now he's shown that he's off doing other amazing things. :)
