Real country music is three chords and the truth!!!
That’s true a lot of the time, but there’s also some wonderful classic country that’s got a lot of jazz influence as well. “Crazy”, “Nightlife”, “Misery and Gin”, to name a few. Nonetheless I think it’s so remarkable when an artist can write a song that is two or three chords and have it have a profound emotional impact. That is not easy to do! I’m a fan of 3 chords & the truth! 💪
