    Thank you for mentioning my fly and saying that I am the originator, yes the pic at 12:43 mark is the original called " Arrow head" which I first tested on the Cheakamus river almost 10 years ago, something about the purple color on that river, it was crazy how many coho I caught and also clients when I was guiding.

    Thanks for bringing the topic of access to Crown Land. It's very hard to get access to "official" maps, and certainly having the map won't prevent confrontations if somebody claims ownership regardless of having it or not. I would like to know more about what can be done to guarantee access for everyone.

    When fishing on vedder am I limited to finding 'pools' or can I fish the faster running water for Chinook and coho?

      It is well worth looking for slots and pockets. Within water that isn’t a classic run.
