Hello from Virginia. I need to know how you cook perfect rice so it’s not gummy. Francine

The perfect rice is a breeze! I use parboiled, & I don’t rinse it. Controversial, I know. I use 2 cups of water & 1 tablespoon of oil for every 1 cup of rice that I cook. I let the water come to a boil. I season the water, I like to add onion powder and chicken bouillon, then add the rice & oil. Stir for one minute while boiling. Reduce heat to low and cover for 30 minutes. Hope this helps!!
