Greatest music and singers love this was raised on country music and bluegrass
This is real country music before it ended. Now it’s completely unrecognizable.
Country music has evolved over the years. Although I see your point, I can still enjoy the modern genre. I think instrumental skills has improved with technology.
Real music!!
Such a great collection from country's golden era
I fall in love with Chet Atkins EVERYTIME I see him play, musical genius he was so refined and as beautiful as a man could get

Great singing love those older singers 😊
There isn’t any better music than Good 😌 Old Country music.
my aunt and uncle were known as Willie and Tillie they played on the grand ole opry
Awesome
These were the days when country music before those running Nashville started only wanting country music wannabee to rock and roll the music. If they couldn't or did not want to rock up their country music, they never got record contracts
Oh my goodness! My grandfather had this set of VHS tapes when I was growing up. I lost him to lung cancer in 2008. I haven’t seen these in more than 15 years. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Stringbean was a great banjo player and his gimmick was priceless. He borrowed the pants from Little Jimmy Dickens and that's how his gimmick started.
Faron Young and Webb Pierce 😍
American music
These recordings are 70 years old... what could you expect after 70 years....!! Us country folk think it's just great... If you don't like it... sorry....!!
It was wonderful i enjoyed it very much thanks
Love it thanks bunches 💕💕
I enjoy the classic country music alot better than I do today's stuff!
Yeah right, feel sorry ... for them!
Enjoy
Beauitfull❤
Love those old days a nd music
Yes❤
Stringbean is shredding
Tubb has a very ordinary singing voice.
First time i've seen 'Stringbean' perform (I'm in Australia). I had heard of him thru' YT's doco about his & his wife's murder.
That song that Faron Young sang around 21.05 is very like Mitchell Torok's, Caribbean.
👍
sounds like this was recorded off a C-band dish?
Doesn’t Carl Smith look fabulous!
Not mine
1952 OR 1953?
Webb Pierce's "I Don't Care" was released in 1956.
Low waist gang
What's the matter with this audio ? thats too much nois and that's regettable
It was lack of technology; that we take for granted today. They did the best to capture the audio back then, but their equipment just couldn't do it. Sad indeed.
But the worst parts of this was: They felt they had to "show up". That ruined it and most didn't like their shenanigans. Indeed it was silly. Sadder there was NO need for it.
If the directors would let them be their selves, it would have been much better. even with the poor audio.
Oh well.
@@MrPatdeeee Well I hope that the next time will be better becouse Country music is my kind of music and I have a big collection from the early twenties till now
@@tedscholte Amen, amen and AMEN kind Sir.
@@MrPatdeeee plenty of other stuff from this era sounds better than this.
The problem isn’t with the original records they are usually fine the problem is somewhere with one of the transfers or copies ...still great to see though
Love the music but the audio is terrible
Dumb but enjoyable
Billy Byrd prettied up his guitar solo too much, the original record was much better.
Horrible noise in the background
Bad connection
Unpleasant interfere
