Bruh, everything about that was perfection. The facial expressions, the pinched harmonics, the layered fast sections, bloody everything.
Fun fact! The Я character is pronounced "ya", so instead of ЯUSH being "Rush" it's "Yaush", which is the sound I make when I get up to do something unpleasant.

i just stumbled down the whole Rush E hole recently, and apart from seeing all these cool covers with various instruments, the thing that always fascinates me the most is that this song - written for piano - sounds better on literally any instrument BESIDES the piano

In my opinion this song is better than any other version of the song Rush E just a guitar and everything he did it so well. The extra notes he perfect they were on time they worked with this song is really really well. If you really wanted to I bet you could probably make the most complicated guitar song.

it’s probably bc a pretty big creator (penguinz0/charlie/cr1tikal) made a video on youtube comment drama under a piano rush E cover. the instigator of the drama was able to back up his “i could play this better” claims and it was a rare example of someone saying shit like that and actually following through on it. charlie’s video got a solid amount of views and now rush E is back in the spotlight lmao

I may not be surprised, but I am impressed.
You should cover a few songs from the Calamity Mod OST by Dm Dokuro. There are so many amazing tracks and songs on there with so much cover potential. Scal’s theme, Roar of the Jungle Dragon, Raw unfiltered Calamity, Interstellar Stomper, the Devourer Of Gods Nonstop Mix are just a few examples of tracks that would be great covers. I highly recommend looking into some of these and if any of them interest you you should cover them.

I appreciate the return of the rush memes. Not so much Sheet music boss in particular, but synthesia type piano tutorial channels are a huge part of my childhood and still my go to for learning video game music or similar where sheet music isn't so available. Either way, SMB has appeared in my recommended consistently for years so it's cool to see them have somewhat a mainstream impact
