Great advice. I have my own website to sell my handmade products. I started it before Shopify was a thing and now I wish I could switch to Shopify but the cost and time to transition has prevented me from doing so. I also sell my products on Etsy and Amazon Handmade as additional ways to promote my product and get more sales. I agree with all your recommendations. I would also like to share a few more benefits of why I prefer Amazon Handmade when selling on the Amazon marketplace. 1. I don’t have to pay the $40 monthly seller fee with Amazon Handmade. 2. Amazon Handmade listings don’t require a UPC code to create them. 3. Amazon Handmade also prevents others sellers from listing your exact same ASIN (which they can do on standard amazon listings forcing you to compete for buy box). 4. Amazon Handmade also allows sellers to create an artist profile similar to Etsy which is a nice feature to personalize your store. 5. I prefer seller fulfilled shipping on Amazon Handmade. I may not get the Prime label but i still list my products with free shipping since customers on Amazon expect that. The main benefit for seller fulfilled listings is I can control my branding on the packaging and presentation of my product so it doesn’t arrive in a generic amazon box. I also can include my business cards, brochures, coupons to refer customers to my own website on a future purchase. I also do this with my Etsy sales too. 6. I have less competition from copycat sellers on Amazon Handmade than I do on Etsy. 7. Buyers have better trust in the Amazon marketplace. 8. Amazon Sponsored Ads are very affordable and work better than Etsy ads since i can bid on keywords which gives me more control. The biggest downside of selling on Amazon is the 2-3 weeks I must wait to get my money after the sale and the higher fees. This is why I think it’s important not to rely on Amazon marketplace as your only source for sales.
Thank you SO much for sharing your Amazon experience! I too, was on a different platform for my own website before moving to Shopify. I only moved over a few years ago and while it took some time and money, I'm SO happy I did it! My only regret is not doing it sooner. What do you use for your website now?
Creative Hive I am currently using a shopping cart called Nexternal by Truecommerce. It’s not as well known and is packed with features but a bit expensive at $250 a month (+ 3% of all sales over $10k each month). They are good for larger businesses. I don’t use all their features. I’ve tested Shopify and used it many times buying products from other companies and I love how easy it is for customers. It is a move I’m seriously considering and just have to free up time to make the commitment to get it all set up. I think I could do it in stages and work on it over a few months before I turn it on an transfer my domain names to it. Paying a small month fee during the transition wouldn’t kill me financially.

There are definitely tips and tricks that work for each individual business, MayanMountainInc, and I'm really glad that you found what works for you and that you've enjoyed such amazing success!
I sold a lot of Scrapbook pages and albums on Ebay many years ago. Although I did not have a 'brand name' buyers really appreciated my work and I got a lot of repeat customers as well as some who wanted me to custom make things for them which I did not expect. :)
I've just opened an Etsy shop to try and sell some of my crochet items and these videos are great! I've been binge watching them 😊 the information is very useful and you present it really clearly!
The GLC Arts and Crafts Mall is also a great place to sell your crafts. They have plans starting at just $4.50 per month flat fee and you can list up 300 items. Their other plans are $7.50 and $12.00 per month. They also promote your products on Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram at no extra charge.
@@moe9246 I overstand ya! My ex took everything I owned as well even my art supplies but he couldn't take my talent. I bought new ones and now make a living doing art :) and he is homeless.
Even though Etsy can be great for initial shop setup and walking you through the minefield of selling online, after watching your video I can honestly say I'm reviewing my options. Thank you for the very enlightening discussion...it's very much appreciated! Many Blessings, PJ
It is definitely something to think about PJ! If you haven't already seen this video, you may want to check it out: ruclips.net/video/g9X0fsya7wY/видео.html
Good information because my daughter-in-lawsuggested that she and I get together and start making some handmade items to sell and I was not very optimistic about it. but the more I watch and listen the more I am thinking maybe we have a chance to make some extra income. I don't have any way to make a decent living any other way. So I hope we are successful.
Thank you for sharing these information. I was thinking about opening a shop on Etsy but not anymore after hearing that they can be such bullies to real creative artist.
Etsy can definitely be an option if you can put it on autopilot for top sellers that can be easily recreated since Etsy has their own built-in traffic, but the control you have with your own site is a much stronger option.
Just watched this vid yesterday and started importing my products from both my Etsy and Wix sites. I didn't know about the Instagram or Facebook feature for links directly to the Shopify store and am excited about trying this. I also want to include all my products on one site. I had to take my Antler jewelry off my Wix site and sell on my Etsy page as Wix canceled my credit card processor when they found out I sell Antler jewelry. It's double work for me and after 6 months on Wix, I've had enough. Had I been more thorough in researching marketplace platforms 6/8 months ago, I would have never signed up with Wix. Thanks for vid!
Hi Lovena! So awesome to hear you making progress and applying what you've learned in my video! I'm sorry to hear about Wix cancelling your processor... that's the trouble with working off of other platforms, you usually have to play by their rules, and sometimes their rules hurt you more than help you! I haven't found Shopify to be limiting in that way. Excited for you to make the move!
Thank you for your generosity in teaching about marketing and all things that help so much with newbies (like me) to learn about online businesses. I have sold my art and craft over the years via traditional ways...the internet is a new way for me as far as starting up a shop. I’m spending many hours watching yours and other videos and I’m so grateful for your willingness to share. Thank you very much, I really appreciate what you do on RUclips 👌
Thank you, I found your video so very helpful. I have been crafting like crazy, challenging my self to just get out of bed due to chronic pain in multiple illnesses. I'ts been a long road, being a person that has always worked one job maybe three at a time, it is hard not to have anything to do but to lay and watch TV I have always wanted to craft but raising two children as a single mom, I, never had time. So now I craft sitting in a chair I find a way to do it to try to help my fingers from nerve damage and arthritis along with multiple other issues. Crafting has kept me sane. Now I need to try to help myself financially and I want to find a way to maybe sell some of my crafts I looked at so many different places and I didn't even know where to start it was so overwhelming thank you for bringing those choices to light I'm glad you mentioned shopified I didn't even think of that. Etsy and Amazon sounds like all winners to me as you said a back up. I'll be subscribing to your channel sending love and light.

Thanks so much for all the information. Perfect timing because I’m starting a shop and was going to start with Etsy but now I have more options!! I really appreciate it!! On to your next video!!!😊
Hi creative hive! I wanted to start a resin business for quite a while but didn’t know what website to go for. (my number 1 was Etsy and number 2 shopify) but after watching two videos for Etsy vs shopify I have mostly come to the conclusion that Etsy would not be for me I listed all the things you said as pro and cons from this video as well as another video on my whiteboard and have found out that Etsy has 12cons and only 2 pros but on the other side shopify has 8 pros and one con so I think that I will settle for shopify ! Thank you so much for making all these videos
This is so helpful, thank you so much! Also you kind of remind me of a smart Erin from the office!! (Which is a huge compliment because i LOVE her!!) :)
I thought Shopfiy was like Easty and co at first. Now I know it’s not thank you for Putting out this video! Subscribe to you as fastest as i could it helped me so much!
Thank you so much for subscribing! Yes, Shopify is your own website builder so you can make your shop look like how YOU want and not like everyone else.
I'm considering setting up a shop for my textile art and your video was so helpful 💗 I still have a lot of research to do but you have given me a lot to think about... Etsy isn't quite the go-to place I thought it could be especially now it's brought in this off-site sales thing. I know that's not a big concern for a newbie, but it's good to plan for success, right? Thanks again Mei, you've got a new subscriber :-)
I'm moving to Shopify and launching two websites soon. I do graphic design for crafters, and I crochet. Etsy isn't working for crochet and I need more control over my designs, and how I work each day. I've gotten so fired up by watching your videos - they've helped me to get focused on next steps. Thank you!
I just happen to stumble on this video and I am so amazed how much I have learned in just a few minutes..very helpful information that I was lacking . Thanks .
Great video as always. I do use Facebook ads and Facebook pages. Great advice to open Shopify store first because from there you can sell and promote on so many other sales funnels! I am about to sell on amazon because they have a promotion going on for Shopify store owners they emailed me about. It was great information you had on selling on Amazon because it gave me insights into which seller account to go with. Mei you are an awesome teacher and those who take your workshops better pay attention if they want to make the money they dream of🙂
Thank you so much!!! I’m in the beginning process of selling my handmade product online. Trying to find a best way to start before my product ready. Struggling on the Etsy and Instagram platform, it seems impossible before I watch your videos. ❤️❤️❤️
You got this, Phitsinee! I would recommend that you do develop your own website at some point to sell off of, but having your Etsy shop is a good start.
Excellent video amen. I think you've finally convinced me to concentrating by selling my handmade products via Shopify. I wasn't convinced for the longest time since I cut my teeth using eBay for selling my original products. I agree people probably don't always look for seller name on amazon and ebay. But maybe on etsy though. But you're right about email gathering for future use! Thanks, James & Rescue Kitty😺
Shopify is going to be your best option for setting up your own site, which is key to retaining all your customer information. I would use Etsy second as a passive source of income.
So glad you popped up on u-tube I wish I had found your videos sooner. I have a failing website I made not one sale I am ready to give up despite all my business cards that I had printed? Have to start watching your videos because I am at the point of packing it in and just giving up ☹️
I'm so sorry you're feeling like giving up, Linda. We've all been there, myself included, many many times. Starting and running a business is one of the hardest things anyone can do. Many of us are just not trained on how. I'm hoping some of my videos will inspire you to keep going, maybe even start anew. That's one of the biggest tests with all of this.... you are being tested right now. When you've completely given up, you've failed, so do your best to keep your chin above the water and take it one step forward at a time. 🌹
Thank you SO MUCH!! I have been trying to gather the information you covered in this video. I am so happy I found your channel and can't wait to watch your other videos.
Hey, love the video! Really helpful info and definitely got me thinking about Shopify. Just one feedback/tip - please boost the audio. I would suggest using a 'compressor' on the audio channel and maybe mic'ing a little differently/closer. All peachy otherwise. Keep it up!
I find you videos so informative and helpful!!! I´m having a hard chosing a platform where to sell my handmade products, cause there are so many pros and cons in all of them, that honestly I feel overwhelmed!!!!!! :c but you pretty much narrow it down for me....

thank you so much Mei!!!! we are just starting out....very very slowly and have not gone beyond making an instagram page. This video is really helpful!!!!
Hi there. Thank you for your information. Another person got dumped from Etsy and had a lot of problems. I would not deal with Etsy now. Thank you again. Take care and God bless
Maam their is one addition to the points you said, wix and shopify and all others have similar pricing structures in US, but in other countries especially the third world like mine, its different, shopify hasnt come here so the prices are still US based whereas I personally have WIX and for a full fledge commercial enterprise website i paid around $140 maybe, but that includes everything so my monthly price comes down to $5 and not to mention the fact i have a whole personal domain and a site, so it can be a store, a business website if tomorrow i feel like, add as many pages for different product sections. So pricing is more of an economic thing rather than a corporate price war.
Thanks for the video. I’m in Australia and looking to start selling my dads paintings. They’re acrylic and pastel paintings and have a price point in mind from $50-$300 there a more then 200 paintings currently available . He’s been painting for years and doesn’t have any room to store them. Looking to set up a shopify store and link to a FB page / other social media accounts. Interested in your thoughts and any tips for a beginner.
There are some blog posts I'm going to reference you to. This is on Etsy vs. Shopify: www.creativehiveco.com/etsy-vs-shopify-pros-and-cons-of-each/ This is how to set up a Shopify site in under an hour: www.creativehiveco.com/how-to-build-your-own-website-with-shopify-in-under-1-hour/ And this is everything in the social media category: www.creativehiveco.com/category/social-media/
Good luck with setting up a shop for your dad, i wish you much success!! I want to do the same for my mom, shes an amazing artist and has hundreds of paintings but has sold very few because she just doesn't know how that stuff works and has always done it as a hobby/for fun, shes had a few gallery showings and sold some pieces but doesn't really focus on that. My goal is to set everything up for her in a similar way (shopify/FB Group) so she can create a business from selling her art, would be a great way for her to retire! Thanks for asking those questions, really great info and helps me out as well 😊
Mei I need to say the biggest thank you for all of your content! I saw your add on Instagram for your free course (that I will be signing up for) and I’ve watched back to back videos for over 2 hours!! I’m in the process of setting up a small business, on the side, and I need to go back, rewatch and take notes (that’s what I get for listening while multitasking #mumlife). I’ve learned so much from you today and I can’t wait to learn more! Thank you so much. I can’t believe how much you’ve put into these videos!
Creative handmade products and making your own business sounds good.... Not enough idea how does it goes or grows. Thanks for your inputs and insights. Have a good day.
Hi Mei, you really don't need all that irritating background noise (music) to be engaging! Please stop it, it's only distracting from your very valuable content!
Your statement about how people on eBay won’t value your handmade jewelry as much as they would elsewhere reminds me of an audiobook I’ve been listening too called the practice, basically not everyone will like or appreciate what you do and we’re not going to find those people by targeting those who want cheap, used or wholesale stuff to begin with.
Honestly I’m trying to start my own business and all the apps you talked about aren’t that good not gonna complain with Shopify because it’s sound good but the fees don’t. So I can’t sell anything without coming with nothing in my pocket soooo🙁
There isn't going to be an ecommerce platform that doesn't cost you money to sell there, so you'll need to decided what space works best for your business.
You could use Facebook as a starting point and save whatever you receive as money to put toward supplies and the fees for one of these business websites! That’s how I’ve gotten started. It’s not ideal, but it’s a start.
Hi dear . You are the queen of my day ,hh IAM from Algeria from the very early hours of this days I watch your videos thanks a lot . I want to ask you if sewing pijama can be succesfull idea !?

So far I've made my first two sales through Facebook Marketplace, but I do agree with the fact that it is definitely not consistent. I've built my own website with Square (Not Squarespace), since it was a free platform but so far have made zero sales. I then moved on to a website called ArtPal, since that was also free to set up but again, I've gained a ton of views of my listings but no sales. Shopify has been on my mind since the beginning and now that I've reached 1,000+ followers on my instagram I'm definitely thinking of transitioning over to Shopify. Hopefully this will be the last transition, because building websites is time-consuming!!! Lol
That is true. With your website, you should also be building an email marketing list and thinking about running ads to try to drive traffic to your site.
Hi Mei Very informative video. I totally agree with anything you said. In my opinion, whatever the handmade product and whatever the target audience, a customer wants to feel security when buying from a seller. What I mean is, apart from the product itself and if it meets the requirements of a customer, the seller must build a relationship of trust between the customer and himself. Being a beginner and wishing to establish your own identity in the market, in my opinion, joining eBay, Amazon and perhaps Etsy, someone is lost among the mass. Owning your own website is the best choice for me because you have 100% control of your site but then again someone needs to strive to reach his audience and build a relationship of trust. Having said that, I believe that your advice for a beginner starts his business through Shopify is the best start for any beginner. I would be very grateful to receive your comments. Thanks a lot.
Mei I have a query if you can help please. I visited Shopify, even as a visitor, does someone need to sign up to view the stores? Thank you for your help.
Hi Annita! Thank you so much for watching and sharing your thoughts!! ❤️ With regards to your question about Shopify, what did you mean by "view the stores"? Are you looking into visiting the different website themes available in Shopify? Which "stores" are you referring to? 😊
Hi Mei, thank you so much for your response. 😊 I had no idea the way Shopify functions, it may sound funny. I reached Shopify You Tube and I was told that Shopify does not function in the same way like other platforms as Amazon or Ebay where the customer can view the products. What I understood is that with Shopify, it's the seller who reaches the customer through different locations. Myself, I'm still in the phase of research. As a polymer clay artist, I want to make a good start with the right tools. I want to own my own website but through a secure platform like Shopify which can protect both the seller and the customer. Both need to build a relationship of trust. Owning my own website by myself, I feel, as a beginner, it would be too difficult to gain customers, as well as their trust, because I'm a stranger to them. I need to enrich my knowledge about Shopify, I still have many queries, but at the right moment I'll join Shopify. 😊
Hi Annita! I have a free workshop where I talked about ways you can market and promote your website. In case you're interested, here's the link to register: bit.ly/3EGGC47 I think you'll learn a lot from it. If you have any questions, just let me know. 😊 Good luck!! I know you got this!! ❤️
Hi Mei, I was not notified by you tube about your response. By luck I wanted to see if I had any response. I will read the blog. It will sure help. Anything to read is always a valuable asset. Earlier tonight I visited your site, you indeed create pieces of art, I can feel the patience, hours and days devoted to create all these miniatures. Myself I'm in a completely different direction. When time comes to join Shopify, I will let you know 😊 I regularly watch your videos and you deserve a big Bravo for your time to prepare all these videos which are helpful to all of us. I have some disagreement about a video regarding the pricing. We know that polymer clay doesn't cost a lot. However, there is something which is called talent, and so much work behind the scenes. Aaccording to what an artist wants to create, the hours he devotes to the creation, how the finished product will look like, pricing will be taken into consideration, nomatter if polymer clay is cheap to buy. This is ART and art is paid specially if the soul and love of the artist speak on the finished product. There are some renowned polymer clay artists like Kathleen Dustin, Debbie Crothers, Bettina Welker, Ford and Forlano. They create pieces of art and the cost of their art is quite expensive but they worth it.

@@moe9246 I overstand ya! My ex took everything I owned as well even my art supplies but he couldn't take my talent. I bought new ones and now make a living doing art :) and he is homeless.
What’s her addy I just wanna talk😤
Even though Etsy can be great for initial shop setup and walking you through the minefield of selling online, after watching your video I can honestly say I'm reviewing my options. Thank you for the very enlightening discussion...it's very much appreciated!
Many Blessings,
PJ
It is definitely something to think about PJ! If you haven't already seen this video, you may want to check it out: ruclips.net/video/g9X0fsya7wY/видео.html
Good information because my daughter-in-lawsuggested that she and I get together and start making some handmade items to sell and I was not very optimistic about it. but the more I watch and listen the more I am thinking maybe we have a chance to make some extra income. I don't have any way to make a decent living any other way. So I hope we are successful.
That's awesome that you're going to work together, Missi! Do you have a product in mind yet?
Thank you, Mei! I felt Shopify was the best choice intuitively. After your comparison video, I was sold on Shopify!
That's fantastic! I really can't recommend them enough.
You are so welcome, Christine! I am so happy to be included in your online viewing time. 💗
Thank you so much Deb!! Keep fighting!! You're a really strong woman!! ❤️❤️ If you're interested, feel free to watch my free workshop. Here's the link to register in case you're interested: bit.ly/3EGGC47 Good luck! You got this!! 💕💕💯💯
I will like to know how can I brand my homemade product?
Like register the brand, have the brand logo and all if I sell online.
I haven't started yet but want to launch. I am a beginner.
Your video was very insightful. After a long time of thinking over and over and watching various videos, this is the first time I got the confidence of STARTING.

Thanks so much for all the information. Perfect timing because I’m starting a shop and was going to start with Etsy but now I have more options!! I really appreciate it!! On to your next video!!!😊
That's so great, Peggy! Good luck launching your shop!
Hope can be part of business partnership in Bali Peggy, this is my Ig @ bali.gate , thank you 🙏
Your skin is absolutely flawless, please share your skincare secrets.
Really good lighting! 😊
That's amazing, Greta! I'm so happy to hear that the videos were helpful. Good luck getting your site going!
It's a year later but would love an update on how shopify has been for you. I'm about to open up my own shop and would love the advice
Your skincare routine please!!! Your video is so on point and I was wondering if you knew how to go about sourcing materials in bulk for cheap.
Your comment just totally made my day, Lala!! 💖💖💖
This is so helpful, thank you so much! Also you kind of remind me of a smart Erin from the office!! (Which is a huge compliment because i LOVE her!!) :)
Haha, thank you, Mikala! I appreciate you watching and am glad this was helpful for you!
Always look long-term, Jem! :) And thank you so much for subscribing!
I'm moving to Shopify and launching two websites soon. I do graphic design for crafters, and I crochet. Etsy isn't working for crochet and I need more control over my designs, and how I work each day. I've gotten so fired up by watching your videos - they've helped me to get focused on next steps. Thank you!
That's amazing! Good for you for taking that next big step!
I just happen to stumble on this video and I am so amazed how much I have learned in just a few minutes..very helpful information that I was lacking .
Thanks .
Thanks so much for sharing that, Nariva! I appreciate that so much! Thanks for watching.
I am so looking forward to look at your videos.
Thanks much appreciated.
So very true. I have bought at least 30 items on eBay, I don’t remember not even one of these shop’s name. So sad
It's unfortunate but that's just how those sites operate!
Mei you are an awesome teacher and those who take your workshops better pay attention if they want to make the money they dream of🙂
Thank you so much for your comments, Cici! It sounds like you have a great plan for your business!!
Thank you because I have been looking for the best place (store) online to start selling my handmade jewelry.
You are so welcome! I really appreciate you watching!
Aawww!! First thing I noticed is cute and genuine she is
Thank you so much, Kati!
Watching a second time! Heart you, Mei!!! Your videos are well-edited btw!
Thank you so much, Happy Crafter! That is so kind of you to say!

What do you sell? May i take a look?
Thank you SO MUCH!! I have been trying to gather the information you covered in this video. I am so happy I found your channel and can't wait to watch your other videos.
Thank you so much, Sue! I am so happy to found me!
I have Shopify before, but I switched to GoDaddy. My business is small and it's a better option for me. So far, I am really happy with it.
That's good that you've found something that works for you, Veejay!
I just found out a lot about Shopify I didn't know. I think you are wonderful!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that!
Nicely done. Lots of good info and you are focused on information not your personal world. Thanks, now im on to watch other videos you have done
Thank you for taking the time to say that, Margaret!
I so agree Margaret! Her videos are great with so much really good info and we are not wasting our time watching someone else live their life.
I don't know how ended up with this in my feed , but watching this but you make a great video! :)
Thank you! A happy accident, I hope! 😊
Hey, love the video! Really helpful info and definitely got me thinking about Shopify. Just one feedback/tip - please boost the audio. I would suggest using a 'compressor' on the audio channel and maybe mic'ing a little differently/closer. All peachy otherwise. Keep it up!
Thanks for the suggestion!
All of this really helps. Going to try Shopify first and take your advice. Thanks so much, May!
That's awesome, Leah! I think that you will really like the platform!
I find you videos so informative and helpful!!! I´m having a hard chosing a platform where to sell my handmade products, cause there are so many pros and cons in all of them, that honestly I feel overwhelmed!!!!!! :c but you pretty much narrow it down for me....
I'm happy to hear it was helpful to you! Thank you so much for watching!

Thank you for the tips there's a few things I did not know about Etsy and I've been on it for over 3 years just doing it as a small hobby making about an extra $20 a month not doing really anything with it now that has changed again thank you for the tips I'll be looking at shopify as well
That's great to hear, Jeff. I highly recommend Shopify and I'll think you'll be happy using it!
Wow the best take away here for me is learning about Klickly! Thanks for the awesome video, this app looks like such a helpful tool for online selling!
It's so helpful! I hope you like using it!
Very grateful that I can benefit from your wisdom and experience. Many thanks from the UK
Thank you so much Simon!! ❤️❤️
I sell on Poshmark and just love the community there, and they just added Home goods, can now be sold 👍🏻😉
That's great! I'm glad you are having success there!
About Facebook I do disagree because me and my mom made a soap business completely on there and we made a profit but I do love the vid!
That's great that it's working for you!
thank you so much Mei!!!! we are just starting out....very very slowly and have not gone beyond making an instagram page. This video is really helpful!!!!
I'm so glad it was helpful, S H! One step at a time - you can do this! 💖
Hi there. Thank you for your information. Another person got dumped from Etsy and had a lot of problems. I would not deal with Etsy now. Thank you again. Take care and God bless
I'm really sorry to hear that, Michele. It is such an unfortunate thing. 😞
I have just discover You, thank You so so much, lot of useful informations!!! Keep up a good work ;)
Welcome! Thank you so much for watching.
THX, this was really helpful.
I really want to sell my crafts and I think I just saw the best vid for selling crafts
I'm happy to hear that, Esau! I hope this will help you get started.
Thanks for your Information. You really makes you think.
I'm happy to hear it! Thank you for watching!
That's good information to know, Shivansh - thank you for sharing that and explaining how you made the choice to use what you did. 😊
Thank you so much Holly!! ❤️ You've no idea how much this my day!! Thank you for your support and kind words!! ❤️
Thank you for your info in this vid. I have some things to now clearly decide upon
I'm happy that it helped! Thank you so much for watching!
thank you
nice to know since i am real novice and want to start selling my handmade goods
I hope it helps you find the best platform for YOU, Nancy!
Creative handmade products and making your own business sounds good.... Not enough idea how does it goes or grows. Thanks for your inputs and insights. Have a good day.
Thank you for watching, Simple Art Ideas!
Hi Mei, you really don't need all that irritating background noise (music) to be engaging! Please stop it, it's only distracting from your very valuable content!
Noted! Thank you, Britta!
Yes, that is exactly right! That is why knowing your target audience is so important.
Big picture of e-commerce. Really helpful. Thankyou very much
Glad it was helpful to you, RK. Thanks so much for watching!
This was very uselful, thank you so much!!
Awesome, I'm so happy to hear that!
Creative Hive oh ok ty
You could use Facebook as a starting point and save whatever you receive as money to put toward supplies and the fees for one of these business websites! That’s how I’ve gotten started. It’s not ideal, but it’s a start.
I TOTALLY agree with this. My daughter does fantastic on eBay.
What does she sell, Linda? :)
Thank you for sharing and my mom and i were planning to sell this pandemic
Best of luck to you getting started! So many people are shopping online, it's a great time to launch.
Great video! I always had great luck selling on Facebook
That's awesome!
Amazing video. You are great. You just got a new subscriber here. Thanks for the video
Thanks, Omar! I hope you find the best place for your business!
Hi dear . You are the queen of my day ,hh IAM from Algeria from the very early hours of this days I watch your videos thanks a lot . I want to ask you if sewing pijama can be succesfull idea !?
It can be if you make the product well and market it well to your audience!
Thank you sooo much , you have made more sense to me than loads of others I have listened to. I am just starting on my journey, jewellery and quilling. How to get it seen , sold, posted all this is scary... I will defo look at Shopify to make my webpage and link it to facebook first then sell on Ebay odd ones and link. How to price is a difficult one too. Can you give me any pointers?
Yes! I have a few pricing videos: ruclips.net/video/E84R362yfHE/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/BzMBA4CCZHQ/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/v3J_0bnEpjE/видео.html
Thanks so much! I really enjoyed your info! So much to think about!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you so much for watching!
Thank you!!!! Loved your video!
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching!
You sound very experienced. Looks like I could take some tips from your video. Thanks for sharing.
I have 14 years in the handmade industry, so I have learned a lot! I appreciate you watching!
Hi Mei
Very informative video.
When time comes to join Shopify, I will let you know 😊
I regularly watch your videos and you deserve a big Bravo for your time to prepare all these videos which are helpful to all of us.
😍 So damn cute and smart! 🐻 Great tutorial, will watch more!
Thank you so much for watching! I appreciate it!
Hello great video not every one is making sales on Shopify to me it’s very hard. I sell my products on other platforms and generate sales but some how I haven’t gotten any sales from Shopify over 3 months. I even forgot I have a store on there. But I’ll have to put more work in driving traffic to my store

Fantastic video. I wish I saw this before closing my Shopify! I have few questions: 1) do you know any influencers marketing group or app. 2) do you know anybody to make Facebook ads at a good price? 3) anybody to design your Shopify? Thank you so much
I would look into Fiverr. I recently did some work with them and I documented it here: ruclips.net/p/PLd52Nr4SNc0nIp5EWUkMO9ULFyACZqIga
Creative Hive thank you 🙏

I've had very good success selling my handmade items on eBay for many years. I've been selling there since 2000. I still have repeat customers from years ago, so I'd have to say you are mistaken about not being able to build a brand on eBay. BYW, I was looking for five really good selling sites, but that's not quite what you provided.
I'm very happy that you have had success on eBay - it's great when we find a site that works well for our business.
Thanks Mei -you are a force! And so cuuuute!!!
Thank you, Dominic! I appreciate you watching!
Thank u Mae. That was some very helpful information
Glad it was helpful, Pamela! Thank you so much for watching!
