As soon as Biden mentions the Trump trials in the debate Trump should hit Biden with the accusations about him taking inappropriate showers with his daughter.

If he’s going to address the trials, Trump doesn’t need to (and IMO shouldn’t) go to Biden’s “slimminess,” because it drags his daughter into it. I know I wouldn’t like it, & I’m pretty sure I’m not alone.
In my mind he should hit him with Democrats’ (his) “law-fare” strategy that’s not only made a mockery of our justice system, but has turned manythink it’s more effective to paint Biden as the liar he is, particularly on the 2 issues shown in polls as being of most concern to voters: immigration and inflation.
Specifically, in taking the oath to become President he swore to uphold the laws of the USA, an oath he knew he intended to break even as he spoke the words with his hand on the Bible. Yet on his first day in office he essentially opened the southern border. He didn’t just fail to enforce the immigration laws, he began (immediately) to facilitate illegal immigration on a grand scale, & then actually stood before the American people (as did his head of HHS) and said “the border is secure.” On that point he didn’t just lie, he revealed just how little respect he has for voters’ intelligence.
On inflation, he told the American people in a recent interview that he “inherited an inflation rate of 9%.” WHAT?! He inherited an inflation rate of 1.4%!
Yes, there are more lies, but on these 2 issues - the most important to Americans - he told whoppers intended to mislead voters!!

I used to say to my son, C grade stands for crap. He graduated college and doing well. I fault parents, therapists, teachers for raising a generation of snowflakes that is just looking for handouts and not willing to put an effort. Very sad.
The kids today are fine. The wealthy kids that are entitled sometimes give an entire generation a bad name.
I can think of no Presidential duty that's more important, than doing everything possible to ensure the people's choice for every elected office is honored. It's absolutely necessary to maintaining freedom and preserving our civil rights. Without that, we can all be subjected to unrelenting prosecutions, as Trump is experiencing now.

I've commented on this before, but once again Dave Aronberg demonstrates that even as a practicing active prosecutor, he doesn't understand the difference between an opening STATEMENT, which happens at the start of a trial, and an opening ARGUMENT, which happens at the end in the prosecutions initial summation to the jury. Argument is very specifically NOT PERMITTED in opening statements. How does a licensed practicing attorney not grasp this very fundamental concept in the law? That's the state of affairs in our legal profession today, ladies and gentlemen.

Megyn, plenty of people hang or work with individuals they later learn was gross.. have you, others in news, celebrities, athletes, etc., personally experienced working with individuals they later learned was disgusting, or had a yucky side? Of course! And so have the every day folks. Choosing to work with or continuing to work with such a person AFTER learning they’re yucky, is different. Now, how many people proven to be yucky or conducted yucky business is in government? Ugh
I like these two guys. They’re on opposite sides but manage to discuss without using inflammatory rhetoric. It’s so pleasant to listen to and think about the actual point they’re making. I’d forgotten how nice it is.

From a bookkeeping prospective, why would Trump involve himself with mislabeling a perfectly legal expense? A really dumb premise.
The entire case is “dumb”, which may explain why no one would take up this case, including Bragg. From this testimony, the description tag for this line item was chosen out of a drop down menu of which I’m certain Trump knew nothing. Why would he? and there would have been absolutely no reason to believe it would ever become any sort of issue at all. Had this nakedly partisan Judge allowed testimony from the expert regarding campaign finance Law the whole joke would be concluded already. This set of legislations are quite complicated and why these cases are almost always handled on the Federal level, it’s not an area of law in which any random Judge is going to going to be well versed. Just about 95% of what has been presented to this jury either means nothing or isn’t germane to this case anyway. Even what was in Trump’s head means nothing even if it could be proven some way or other.

If prosecutors can't explain the crime to me as if I were and intelligent 14 year old (like who's the injured party), then it would be very hard for me to vote 'guilty'. I think it would be easier to convict Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters of 'hate' crimes....

Out of the Gary Vaynerchuk interview the most valuable point (at least to me) was his IMHO correct insight that the banning of items is a /very/ slippery slope and banning or actions taken against external forces humans will turn on the 'internal'. This is the main reason why government or any body needs to be strictly controlled/reduced in power and to be subservient of the citizenry they represent.

I was referring to Judge Cannon’s decision to stall when she realized the chain of custody of the documents was not done right. Pictures don’t match inventories. Then the info that came out showing these documents at NARA , discussions being recorded between Biden WH AND NARA as they then delivered the documents to MARALAGO …THEN RAIDED.

Hell, most of the Jury , less two lawyers, have any idea what is legal or not in this case.
So tired of the way this show is covering this trial. We get it, you guys are all lawyers and speak a language the plebs don’t know. The trial and charges are so bogus but the way these guest lawyers and even megyn herself more and more have covered it has really given this circus legitimacy that President Trump actually did something wrong. It’s obvious that there’s a strong chance he’ll be found guilty because everything is stacked against him, and while i can appreciate the show trying to inform the audience of all the nuances that are going on thru out this trial, on the whole from reading thru the comments all week I don’t think I’m the only one in saying that it’s getting old and we also get you don’t like Trump Megyn. But hey it’s your show, just speaking to what I think a lot of your audience feels. I’m a fan, just not loving these guests and overall coverage of this bullshlt trial. Anyways, God bless !

Totally agree about the trial coverage. I don’t think she dislikes Trump, she’s always defending him. I wish Trump would quit attacking her. I don’t have any problem with Trump giving grief to people who deserve it, but imo she doesn’t.

This is what infuriates me about many of today's young people;. They would rather go to a store and shoplift hundreds to thousands of dollars of merchandise, risking probable arrest, then then yell at the police about how racist they are for arresting them, or they can't be arrested because they have a baby at home! They could have used their energy to go to that same store and picked up a job application, and started down the path of advancing in the career world! Now they have an arrest record, most already and that makes it harder to get a job because they have a history of prior shoplifting arrests, so they are charged with felonies, but they believed, by the way they were not held accountable (the 1st, or 2nd time getting arrested), by our broken justice system, so they got bolder, and stole more! That means the stores have to raise prices for us, or close stores. Then those same groups complain that that live in a food desert or can't get prescriptions, because their stores closed up and left! It's entitlement, reinforced by the injustice system and even our vice president!

The primary goal of grounding a child is to change their behavior. BUT it is not its only objective. It is a messge to the child on principles the parent values. The punishment tells the child what the parents value.
This trial stuff is interesting, but we know the outcome.

Every legal bill I've ever received has two components: the lawyer's time and disbursements which are any expenses the law firm spent on the client's behalf (anything from photocopies to expert witness fees).
I'm no lawyer but I'm thinking when you pay an attorney money, it's legal fees.

This idea that one should not disrespect their parents is wrong. Depending on the parents, separation often requires it. Often a parent is holding on, over-protecting, and the child must break away and does not have the skill to do it nicely nor should they be expected to. Sometimes the kid is going through a stage and will grow out of it. Parents need to be careful not to make a bad situation into a hysterical one.
Are the jurors allowed to watch shows like this when not in court? Or is that against some rule?
They are not supposed to and warned not to by the judge. Human nature however says they absolutely watch!
