It's so exciting for us to be back with our very first tiny house tour of 2021! We absolutely loved meeting Deb and Pete and visiting their beautiful tiny home. This is a family who really understands what's important in life and whose tiny house has helped them to be there for their family when needed, and also helped them to weather some storms of their own! We hope you enjoy the tour! With Love, Bryce & Rasa
Great house, lovely kitchen. I wonder if they will sell the tiny house in the future when they need more space and want to expand their family. Perhaps they could rent it out and use the funds towards paying for a mortgage on a bigger place (should they need to)?
Happy New Year Bryce and Rasa. Thank you for yet another great video. I smiled all the way through this one - what a wonderful family with beautiful souls. [I see Shay has struck again :) her designs are so well thought out]
This channel was an accident, but now I spend all my days watching these beautiful and charming tiny homes videos. Bryce is such a considerate and kind host, as well. This show should be a feature on a main tv channel. I enjoy it quite a lot. 😊
They don't want to raise their daughter on a device and get her outdoors and I'm stuck inside watching this on a device! Is it wrong for a 47 year old man to be jealous of a 4 year old?
Such a sensible family! They know what their priorities are and have made a plan and have begun acting on it. The tiny home is lovely and the property is just stunning. Add to that the fact that they are there for his parents and it’s just a perfect situation. It’s also a good reminder that tiny homes can be stepping stones for some people and can generate rental income at the next stage of their life!
@@livingbig Thank you! I ❤️ your channel SO much! Tiny homes are a bit of a hobby for me- watching them and making files of different ones I like for different reasons. If the time in my life ever comes where a tiny home is the best answer, I’ll be ready!

This channel has put an urge in me to leave everything behind and move to New Zealand and start a new life in a tiny little home. Thank you, Bryce. Loving your videos so much :)
@Heartsongsutube I know NZ has closed their borders due to the pandemic, but it I don’t think it will change their immigration policies in the future...
A couple of years ago (pre COVID) we were lucky enough to visit the South Island which is incredibly beautiful. Then in Easter 2020 we were booked to go to the North Island but thanks to COVID the trip was cancelled - we live in hope of eventually getting over to NZ again - apart from NZ having so many beautiful places to visit the people are friendly and easy going.
One of the best tiny homes I’ve seen, one that allows for family space, family values, and tips that are useful even for someone with a larger home - how to utilize a space well, to its fullest, and with practicality. (Drawers instead of a huge pantry cupboard - what a light bulb moment!) This home shows how living with kids is practical and possible in a tiny home, and feels roomy too. Love the home, and enamored by the family.
This is a lovely, well designed tiny home and a delightful couple. I always especially like the situations when these homes are parked at the home of older parents - it's such a great way for families to be close and to help each other.
I love it when they say that having a tiny home makes you go outside a lot more :) I think it's such an important 'trick' to create an environment for yourself that forces you to do the things, live your life the way it is actually good for you.
This is such a stunning home! For me, it's the perfect balance aesthetically, with the white walls, the beautiful timber throughout the home (especially in the floor!) and the beautiful accents like the kitchen backsplash and bathroom wall. It definitely feels really welcoming, and that couch fits the space so well, it's crazy! The extra width I think is one of the biggest reasons this house feels so big, it avoids feeling like just a long corridor and seems like a great choice if you're not planning on moving your tiny home very frequently. A wonderful tour as always, you make a great host Bryce, and your camera work is just amazing, Rasa. Thank you for all the time and love you put in to make such incredible content, wishing you all the best for 2021!
I love seeing this side of the world. You can tell the different accents depending on where people are from. Before I would just group everyone in one pot...New Zealanders or Australians. I feel like I'm learning more than just the tiny living...I'm learning about the culture. Thank you!
I LOVE dialects and try to place them whenever I get a chance. I am wondering how many different dialects do you have in New Zealand? I am from Germany and we have an abundance of dialects...
I love their deck. Really brings out the size of their home. I also appreciate the fact that you are so nice to everyone you meet and there is such excitement in your voice when interviewing people. Very inspiring!
Lovely house! I normally don't like black and white decor, but it was balanced really well with the wood floors and worktops, and the huge windows with the garden outside! Especially loved the bathroom with the mirror door, and the loft was really spacious and roomy in contrast to many other lofts. My only pet peeve is the stairs, for some reason tiny houses often seem to miss banisters. I'm definitely too clumsy to live without one! 😅
Introduced this channel to a friend of mine, and she jokingly said, "Wow, he must be a vampire, he's constantly asking for permission to enter!" and I said "1. He's CONSTANTLY in SUNLIGHT, and 2. He's just properly raised to be polite." She snapped back, "Oh, you just take all the fun out of it!" ...but she still mutters an occasional "such a cute polite daywalker" from time to time! XD
One of the most beautiful spacious "Tiny Homes," I've ever seen. The open air porch that opens the home up is wonderful! I love the family, the home, and their daughter is so cute! I'm sorry about his Mom. Great job! 🙏💗😁🌲🌳
The extra 2' in width really makes an enormous difference. I like everything about this home except for the height of the bedrooms. The spaces are all so very functional and just beautiful. The decking and windows really make a difference. Love all the black and white.

Are there no bugs in New Zealand? Here in the US, there's no way we could have those bi-fold doors and windows with no screens. Very nice house and I love all the wood.
Ruth Tourjee I’m in Aus and can leave my double sliding doors open for ages without many bugs coming in. It’s mostly just a fly or two that comes in to die on my kitchen windowsill. I have a professional insect spray all around my house, so I think that helps.
Actually people have houses set up like this in California, lots of homes are designed to slide the doors out of the way and open the house to the outdoors. Definitely not something you want to do all over the US of course.
@@emilynolan187 Man, you guys are lucky. In the northeast, you would be chewed alive by mosquitoes. Actually, that's true in the southeast, also. Flies galore, especially if you live near a farm, and if you're really unlucky, horseflies. (They BITE!) In the mountains, there are blackflies, which also bite and are obnoxious. If you want fresh air, you have to have a screened-in porch.
Beautiful and spacious home! I love the way this family has designed it. The big living area and large sofa is perfect. Love the kitchen, it has everything one could want in it and so much storage as well. Nice sized bathroom and hidden laundry-gotta love that! The lofts are fabulous as well. Just love this home. Lovely family and how great that they have it all figured out. Well done!
Love your life values, Deb and Peter and that your lovely daughter has the benefit of outdoor fun, instead of being glued to a screen. Family time is key... So much time is spent cleaning a large property - In that respect, I'm grateful for my tiny flat! Oh, your home is absolutely gorgeous btw...
This is perfect, I live with my gran and aunt and would love to do this rather than all be squeezed in one house. Land laws in the UK are an utter joke and so prohibitive to encourage people to live in hateful, overpriced tacky houses on top of each other. Great house and a lovely family
"In this week's episode of living big in a tiny house. We make our oversized presenter crawl on his hands and knees into a room built for a 3ft child."
Incredibly gorgeous home. 😍 Awesome layout. The pantry is a winner all day. I love ❤️ the happiness and caring spirit of this family, and their wee one is pure joy. It must be such a comfort and joy for his father to have them near. What blessings. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home that has everything meaningful woven into it. Thrilling episode.
Love the verse at 17:14! It's great to see your freedom in Jesus played out in how you live not for things of this world :) I am encouraged! Be encouraged too!
Love the vibes in this build, the spacious kitchen is key for cookouts when the whanau come around and the big bathroom is perfect for us big-boned people 😁
I was really appreciating the outro music this time, how calming it is, and how it complemented that lovely scene with the green grass at the end. Bryce it would be lovely to hear more of your music, you're talented at making it!
I love love the layout of this home and the deck and the yard is pristine. The only draw back for me as with most tiny homes if the no head room in the lofts. I really love the ones that had standing room in the loft that's a must have for me.
I think your parking spot is like 90% of the success of tiny house living. If you are surrounded by a beautiful environment filled with plants I think you can pretty much live in a tent and be happy 😍

@@emusaurus Count yourself lucky! Check out my reply to Emily ---we can't exist without screens.
No problem in Colorado either. Just the occasional fly!
Well done!
Hello Brenda your smile is priceless!!
Hello Cassandra how are you doing!!
What a lovely home for a beautiful family. Wishing you blessings upon blessings. 💜
This is perfect, I live with my gran and aunt and would love to do this rather than all be squeezed in one house. Land laws in the UK are an utter joke and so prohibitive to encourage people to live in hateful, overpriced tacky houses on top of each other. Great house and a lovely family
I absolutely loved watching this video. Such a beautiful family. I wish them well. THEY HAVE INDEED GOT A QUALITY LIFE.
Hello Elzbieta, how are you doing today
"In this week's episode of living big in a tiny house. We make our oversized presenter crawl on his hands and knees into a room built for a 3ft child."
Bryce well appreciates the necessity of having padded carpeting in loft areas.
Claustrophobia really kicked into high gear on that one for me,
Incredibly gorgeous home.
Beautiful workmanship!! One thing I’ve learned over the years watching tiny living....a large percentage of tiny home owners have family with land.
What a lovely couple. Totally inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
Love the verse at 17:14! It's great to see your freedom in Jesus played out in how you live not for things of this world :) I am encouraged! Be encouraged too!
This might be my favorite family yet. Awesome.
Love the vibes in this build, the spacious kitchen is key for cookouts when the whanau come around and the big bathroom is perfect for us big-boned people 😁
Beautiful home and beautiful family. God bless you!
What a beautiful family and home! I love the fact that tiny house living has enabled them to have their “loves” in order!🥰
Elegant.. refined.. understated.
The wisdom of simplicity. The luxury of efficiency.
I think your parking spot is like 90% of the success of tiny house living. If you are surrounded by a beautiful environment filled with plants I think you can pretty much live in a tent and be happy 😍
Sensible and heartwarming family. Nice home as well! :)
Yes finally a new video love you guys ❤️
Oh I just love this entire story! What a great story. Bless their family.
Such a beautiful home!! Super smart loft area!! LOVE that! A gorgeous kitchen . . . can I say it . . . this is my favorite tiny house!
So very sorry for their loss.
Thank you Bryce and Rasa!! XOXO
This is all the house a small family needs to be happy. So well designed too!
This is such a lovely family and the home is beautiful.
Drinking game - Everytime Deb says 'Yea' take a shot!
The house is beautiful though. Love the parking space!
I love these videos they inspire me so much!
What an idyllic home very versatile and functional..love the backsplash in the kitchen along with the beautiful wood..and the front porch so much room to love laugh play and grow..this family's life is wonderful..👍
I sometimes forget bryce is like 6' 3" 😂. It always makes it funny when he has to crouch to fit in some rooms
