what if you run the preamp section from the Bantamps into the power amp section of a larger amp via the effects loops (SEND from Bantamp to RETURN of other amp) to get more wattage to drive a full cab?
Well there is the JC 20 and probably better the 22 however that is not inexpensive for what it is and probably needs modification for speaker out if you wanted to use as a head unit.
Can I know what are the uses of the two cables that are included as the manual says one is a speaker cable and one is for the foot switch but most people on social media says it's foot switch and patch cables.tia

But, with 100dB speakers in a 4x12 you would have a 106dB cab at 1W, so you would be around 121dB at full volume. You would only gain 6-9 or so dB with a 100W head. 121dB should definitely be enough for most applications.

schabbnur these are basically built to sound like certain amps. The capital letters in the name give some hints. Like JaCkMan = JCM 800 or the AtomiC = AC 30. But basically, yeah,since the are voiced differently they are meant for specific genres. With all amps, the should almost all be versatile enough to cover multiple genres of music.

What if I were to upgrade 12xA7 tube to a high end 12Ax7 tube like a 'Golden Lion'' or some thing? Would the amp have a higher quality tone like a tube amp would if one replaced cheaper tubes with expensive tubes?
So I've been looking for something to use as a back up in case my Splawn ever died on me at a gig , which amp did you think was a better "Marshally" amp the Jackman or the Meteor? they both sounded great to me. ***** Edit just took delivery of a Jackman II XL, wow what a great practice amp and plenty loud enough to use as a back up*** I may need to grab a Zombie II as well so I have a little mini recto in the house to noodle on ***Edit and one week later and I returned it. I used it at practice and at band volume it just didn't cut it.***
You could of used it, using another amps power-section as a slave. (Out the fx send into the others return) or run them into the Orange Pedal Baby SS Power-amp.
Maybe a stupid question, but here it goes: Is it possible / advisable to play these things without connection to a speaker cabinet? I want to use it at home with headphones only, as my cabinet is in our rehersal room.
Are they loud enough to gig with, well had one on a festival stage with 15K people in a 4 piece with Hammond, Bass and Drums and it held it's own with a 1 x 12 Jensen. Great fly-in-fly-out amp, light and cheap with a great sound.
Hello. I have an important and great question that is not resolved in the manual and I have not received an answer from Joyo either by e-mail when I asked them this question. The great question that I asked them by E-mail is this: I just want to connect the BantAmp as if it were a pedal in the chain. Guitar to the input and send to interface, without connecting any speaker or headphone. Can I connect it like this without any load? Do not output the sound through headphones or speaker?

I'm a bass player who got gifted an older HB SC Vintage, so I'm dipping my toes in guitar territory now. As I don't need a gigable amp, I'm eyeballing the Joyo Bantamp series for home use. I'm aiming for a ZZ Top style sound... so which one to get? The Bluejay or the Jackman? I'm completly new to the 6 string game, so any advice?
i think the MeteOR should be called the ValKyrie or the VizaRD or maybe the VeSpa instead of the MeteOR ValKyrie= VK Victory Kraken VizaRD= VRD Victory RD1 VeSpa= VS Victory Sherrif because it sounds more like a Victory amp than an Orange amp
I play mostly metal and the zombie really has a more than decent tone, even if compared with some higher price range competition. To me, the unfortunate thing is that whenever you have to switch channels with your hands it becomes a single channel amp in a live contest... since I need both channels It doesn't meet my needs. Still, great line of products, especially for the price range!
I'm seriously on the fence about these amps, specifically the Meteor. I was considering a Boss Katana 50 because it has everything I could ever need sound-wise, but the reviews are so mixed that it's hard to decide. Some people call it the best practice/small gig amp ever made, others call it overhyped and not worth the money. The Meteor sounds amazing in every video I've seen, and with a Harley Benton 112 with V30s it doesn't cost much more than a Katana. One question I have is whether the V30 speaker is worth the extra cost to fairly untrained ears?
@@raily9714 If you're a beginner, the katana is a great choice as you'll get a lot of versatility for your money.. but just know that you'll need to connect it to a computer to get the most out of it. Personally tho, the katana is a little dark sounding imo and I don't like having to need a computer for it. I also prefer the V30 sounds my HB 112 gives and it allows me to use some of the heads I've collected over the last few years. There's a lot of cheap heads (sub $100-200) that sound great as long as it's for home use.
MAAAAN I love this videos Bought the meteOR cz Im really into Jim Root style. I tryed it on my 2x12 orange speaker and it's so loud for the size For me it needs a bit of punch on low but with an overdrive I have enough and more Definetly better than my old Line 6 spider IV xD
if you want speaker cone modes, go amp wattage x 1.5 for your cabinet wattage total. get your impedance wiring right, and do the math, and you can get by on 15 to 20 watts with the right cabinet.
For me, these are perfect seem for local giging. 99.9% of audiences dont even know what guitar tone is, let alone care in a small local venue, and yet they sound pretty damn good. My one question is reliability. Since the power section is solid state im sure its not much of an issue but, i have no experience with joyo qc. When you get to try the Atomic please play it with actual single coils (The Framus Idolmaker would be fine for the strat stuff) and maybe through something that isnt a 4x12 like a vox style cab even if just for a second.
The Bluejay seems interesting for recording, I like good clean sounds. Problem is I cannot mike an amp here and the torpedo studio or live is too expensive (and just silly to use it with a 150€ amp...). I'm having high hopes for the new Torpedo captor which seems reasonably priced. I hope Henning will do a review of it when it's available!

The Zombie does awesome metal tones and the little monster AC barely has overdrive. Big difference. I think the Mooer is all tube with 5 Watts, the Joyo is hybrid with 20 Watts. If you want all tube, then go for the Mooer. If you want a great metal sound, then the Joyo will deliver
20watts into 2 x ( 15watt, parallel 15ohm), Celestion Blue @ 100db 1w/1m each = 100 + 3 (2x12) + 13 ( 20 watts ) = 116db 1w/1m = just fine for PA-less rehearsal, *if your cabinet is hot enough*

FluffyPirate more than likely it needs a cab, you could try to find one of those 1x8 mini cabs (like the Orange Micro Terror cab) for dirt cheap
If not just solder an 8 ohm load resistor on a jack.

Duke78 no load on the speaker out required. So, yes you can use the headphone out only.

Why not play it through a Harley Benton 1x12? Isn’t that an appropriate cab for this head price wise?

Totally possible. I use it with a 1x12 cab, the volume knob on 12:00 and its really audible in a small gig with drums, bass and keyboard.
The Tone knob on the Zombie should say "slayer" at 7 and "pantera" at 5

The Zombie does awesome metal tones and the little monster AC barely has overdrive. Big difference.
I think the Mooer is all tube with 5 Watts, the Joyo is hybrid with 20 Watts.
If you want all tube, then go for the Mooer. If you want a great metal sound, then the Joyo will deliver

20watts into 2 x ( 15watt, parallel 15ohm), Celestion Blue @ 100db 1w/1m each = 100 + 3 (2x12) + 13 ( 20 watts ) = 116db 1w/1m = just fine for PA-less rehearsal, *if your cabinet is hot enough*
