From sources I was reading a few days ago, the victim has been sharing for years to those close to her who would listen. The story has been corroborated and the pastor is not even denying it anymore. I'm not sure how many years she has been in contact with his church leadership and was dismissed and gave up, but somehow it has resurfaced AND gotten momentum because the current leadership realized she was not sharing info of him/them as 2 consenting adults in recent years (not that they should even protect him from that type of indiscretion), but was her sexually abused as a minor. Sickening.

They are wrong to do so. God calls women to be pastors as well as men. Have you thought about using RUclips or something like that for your sermons? People are not as limited as they used to be. In the parrable of the unmercifull servant the servant demanded that he be paid the debt that was owed to him even though his debt was forgiven. He was referered to as a wicked servant. God expects us to forgive in order for Him to forgive and we can do that when we compare the debts...that debt that we owed God is much greater but still has been cancelled by God...should we not then cancell others debts against us? I think she was counceled incorrectly...as the only thing that will bring healing to her heart is complete forgiveness....but somehow there is still an attiute of Pay what you owe me...the same attitude the wicket unmercifull servant had!

From sources I was reading a few days ago, the victim has been sharing for years to those close to her who would listen. The story has been corroborated and the pastor is not even denying it anymore. I'm not sure how many years she has been in contact with his church leadership and was dismissed and gave up, but somehow it has resurfaced AND gotten momentum because the current leadership realized she was not sharing info of him/them as 2 consenting adults in recent years (not that they should even protect him from that type of indiscretion), but was her sexually abused as a minor. Sickening.

There is more to the story. I asked the same thing too when I first heard it. She tiried going to the church since 2005, and they tired to slience her. They wanted her to sign NDA, which is unfathomable, but she refused. Luke 8:17- "Everything that is concealed will be brought to light." There will be an investigation, so more information will shed some light on some things. This is very sad all around.
