Coach Day was totally right to step in and tell Knowles he couldn't do certain things on defense anymore. Knowles's defense was terrible; it cost us wins against Michigan and Oregon. So, after Oregon, Day had enough and laid down the law on how our defensive line should rush the quarterback. We went from zero sacks to a sack machine in the playoffs because Day forced those changes. If Knowles can't handle the pressure, good riddance. Another thing I hope he does not run that b*******, jack defense. The jack defense will get you beat. It takes way too many chances for over the top plays. Too many long bomb touchdowns against us with him. As defensive coordinator. Day does not like to take chances like that.
