I know I'm pretty late to the comments.. but just want to say that just about all mammals in general have one way or another been proven to be capable of human-like emotions, including grieving. Especially the mammals that are very social in nature. Even a number of reptile species have been proven to be able to form bonds with humans, when they're the kind of animals you'd expect the _least_ to have emotions. I'll never forget this video of this man forfeiting his pet rattlesnakes that he couldn't care for any longer.. rattlesnakes that he managed to form a bond with despite the fact that they're one of the most highly-defensive and dangerous kinds of snake: ruclips.net/video/frAsvNMYqnw/видео.htmlsi=Mqs0gT0B4kFUSCKC Never even thought such a thing was possible. I've heard of snakes being able to recognize the people keeping them.. but this level of trust between both parties is just *next level.*
Great to see Jim again. I lost my youngest brother 8 years ago and it still feels like it happened yesterday. I feel Leo's pain. I'm glad to hear he's getting better and thankful to hear he has all of you around. May 2019 be better and healing for all of us.

I think the hearts of every fan of this channel broke for Leo, Susan, and Jim, when Jimbo was lost. I hope Leo will one day accept a new roommate, because it's obvious his personality would thrive with a new friend. I'm glad Jim can fill the void when circumstances allow!
