Russ will not demand a trade because after the Lakers got rid of him his stock was super low. He will play whatever role the coach tells him so other NBA teams will see him as a valuable player. Nevertheless, the Clips will end up trading him before the deadline because the team dynamics just won't work with him and Harden.

When you have Harden handling the ball with Russ and Zubac (only good big on team) on the court simultaneously leads to a lack of spacing . One of them has to be willing to come of the bench.
