    Did anyone notice the fact that Marbozir is playing as England... on a island not too far away from the mainland that got invaded early on?
    He is really getting into the whole "let's play as England" deal.

      It's most likely to be historically accurate. England as England. Huns as France. Sweden as Spain (though France and Spain should really be friendly with each other). Zulus as Germany or Austria (because there is a chance Netherlands might be Germany later). Right now, Netherlands as Sweden (because Sweden was once powerful if you guys didn't know). Or maybe even Denmark. Aztecs as Poland. Persia as Russia (maybe?). Ottomans as Burgundy (which is now part of France). The last one whom Mar hasn't discovered may be compared to Italy.

    Haven't you contacted everyone? William, Persia, Shaka, Sweden, Atilla, and Monty. That makes six. Plus you, seven. Plus the Ottomans, eight. Right?

  • @starsnmuffins

    You _have_ met all the AIs, remember Marb? It's just that the missing one was visited early by their friendly neighbour, Attila. :3
    And... alas, poor Monty. You shall be missed! (Seriously, though... 2 AIs out of the game before Reneissance Era? x.x)

    I dunno about that ivory city, it may be a better idea to take Hull from Attila, it is a city with an english name already.
    Another good thing you could do is getting some cargo ships and boosting food for your capital, your reef city is very close to your capital and a city state so it could do the food and money trade route.
    Good luck Marbozir and have a happy Easter.

    Marbozir always changes the subject to someone declaring war on him and the very next turn, they declare war lol. It happened in the Gauls game and the Arabia game this year. "The downside with him declaring war on" *hits next turn* "Your lands will make a fine addition to my own" "Oh, he declared war on me. lol

    I think that Marbozir should take and raze the city of Hull. After that, settle a city between the copper and the stone tile. That city would be in range of the bananas, ivory, a new copy of copper and more stone; on top of that, a new, awesome coastal city. It may be really close to the Attila's Court, but it would be better than the city right next to London.

  • @LuisDiaz-qg3eg
    @LuisDiaz-qg3eg 9 лет назад

    I would like to see you raze Hull as soon as you can and settle a city right in between copper and stone. Such an amazing city spot right in that place to have

    I don't know why, but this game kind of reminds of that Japan game around a year ago, just in terms of the amount of hostile civs in this game, i.e Attila, shaka, Monty

    Thancks for the new video. To bad this canal city, but the pressure of the fans. Let's play marbozir like he wants. By the way i advice you to stop building more city, prepare a fleet (you could upgrade your ships to ships of the line for next wars). Take the hull city of attila then peace out. After that use long Bowmans to take attila's capital, sweden capital (they have a lot of wonders) and istanbul . Use trade route for food or production because no good trading partners. Make a good alliance with william to weaken shaka and Persia and backstab netherland at the end. Good luck, (your cities are not so great except Nottingham).

    With this kind of set up I would be very tempted to go Exploration for all those polices that benefit coastal cities.

  • @tscchope
    @tscchope 9 лет назад

    Sending a worker to add the cattle for Hastings would improve its production. I think it's Exploration that gives an extra bit of movement at sea and +3 production to coastal cities. That would help compensate for a lack of production in most of your cities.
    I do wonder if building the hanging Gardens is worth not building 2 settlers at this stage of the game.

  • @pawelkowalczyk4583
    @pawelkowalczyk4583 9 лет назад +1

    Since Nottingham has Marble, wouldn't it be better to build Hanging Gardens there? On top of the GBR and plentiful resources in range, it would be a great city for it.

    • @underworldmark4922
      @underworldmark4922 9 лет назад

      Pawel Kowalczyk no need to build there, Nottingham is already shaping to be an amazing city with or without it, if anything his capital needs it more.

  • @Tinkererer
    @Tinkererer 9 лет назад +1

    For the ivory spot - can't you just build up a fleet and grab Hull instead? It's in a much better location and gets you it as well. Plus, hey, it has an English name, so clearly it belongs to you!

    maybe settle northwest of the fish? It'd take a bit to get the ivory but it would be a much better city in the long run, decent production which would be good since atilla will definitely target that city in the future

  • @AMS97PS3

      +AMS97PS3 I think they might have had something originally but it was thought to be op, I can't remember exactly what it was, they also had Redcoats which got something like a 20% boost fighting in other civs territory.

    Wouldn't it be better to capture Hull rather than settling near Ivory? Then you would have an easy land attack route to Attila's Court, although naval units would be much better for that.

      +Mike Wright I'v had him in games where he turned out to be very loyal. H was on the other side of the map of course and I just kept paying him to go to war. Kept him busy long enough for me to win a science victory and kept the other civs from focusing science. He can be an extremely useful ally as long as you don't spawn right next to him(and if I do I just restart lol). Also he has a high loyalty attribute so if you can get him to declare friendship he's quite nice to have around. So yeah he's not to bad but looking at his civs history( like IRL
      ) it's easy to see why he is the way he is.
