Funny thing is I’ve never had issues with my machine, decided to use the cleaning tabs and this started happening. Thank you so much for this video. I’ll be ordering the replacement solenoid
OMG that just happened to me today. Used the Breville descaling tabs, now barely a couple drops come out even when just trying to run water through it.
Hi @Al-Bel , your videos have always help me to fix my coffe machine. Today I replace the solenoid block for a new one. I was so happy to get my coffe machine back to work again, but after made my first coffee, it trip the consuming unit !!! and back to be without coffee. Can you guest what can cause that
Great Videos Aju. How about a video discussing how the machine works? I replaced my water/steam valve assembly because the machine would pour water through the large tube leading to the plastic 'collector', but that didn't help. So now, I am thinking there should be no water going into the teflon tube when both switches are OFF (open), and the solenoid may be stuck open. Any thoughts?? Thanks, Will
Hi could you tell me which way the solenoids go? They have a 1 and a 2 on either side of each of them. I have changed both solenoids but still no water to the group head
Thank you for the video! I have confirmed the solenoid is needed to replace. But I also got no pressure for 870. Will it back to the normal pressure if I change the solenoid? Or something else? Please help❤
My solenoid block (like the one in your thumbnail) has plastic junctions instead of metal. Is there a way to disassemble this for a deeper clean? Great video btw.
So i assume the plunger on the solenoid builds up scale on it. Which causes it not to open fully. Looks like the descale procedure on the machine would take care of this. Thanks for showing this Aju.👍
Yes it can biuld up or there could be some dirt stuck in there. Descale may help, see my other videos on this descale test. ruclips.net/video/bKHDbHhyfxY/видео.html
Hey there! Thanks so much for your videos :) I love getting educated and empowered to fix things around my house. 🎉 I do have a question. Someone accidentally broke the tube while trying to replace to solenoid valves, and I’m wondering if you have a video on how to replace it. I think it’s called the diffuser valve, the white piece, with three tubes attached, you had to cut the black zip tie so the hose would detach from it. Hope that makes sense and someone can help me reading this ❤
thanks so much for putting this video together - I have BES870 that is getting NO pressure at all. pressure needle stays at zero, completely dead. Do you think solenoid removal could help or one of internal components is malfunctioning? I wonder how to go about diagnosing what is exactly wrong.
Thank you Aju, your videos are holy scripture for my machine! (and I hate that my machine has issue so frequently that I need to watch your video so often haha) Maybe I missed the part in your video, but what is the model number for the solenoid valve replacement? I wasn't sure what to buy exactly.
Please advise me what could be the problem when use steam ward: steam is intermittently coming out steam not consistently. Trouble in steaming the milk. Sometimes, it works perfectly without problem. Difficult to troubleshoot because problem occurs randomly. Thanks.
I came here to give this 100 likes. This video 100% helped me out! It's a perfect tutorial. Thanks, Aju!
As usual, super great video! Thank you for the time you take to show how to do those things! I really appreciate!😀
Welcome
Super video! Nice, clear and methodical. Same problem!

Maybe coincidence.. its hard to get the part. Did you find one?
Same here I think it might be the cleaning tablets or solution breaking off small flakes of buildup which ends up getting stuck in the valve

Thank you for this. I didn't realize this was a thing
It can fail as well

If you broke the dissufer, you can replace it and connect tubed and zip tie them
Very clear and helpful video! I would like to also replace the larger tubing shown with red arrow @11:08. What inner diameter is that? Thank you!
I don't know the diameter. Thank you
Hello - Thank you for the video! Can you recommend where to buy a solenoid block replacement part?
Breville is an option, but its out of stock. You need to search other online websites

Do you get similar noise as shown in the video? Usually solenoid makes that noise and that is how u know
Also do a pressure test ruclips.net/video/acQYG7HkYb4/видео.html
@@AjusCafe ah just did - stays at 0. Needle does not move at all.

Lol.. thank you. Part number is at the end of the video
@@AjusCafe ahhhh i cant believe i missed very end of video!

thanks mate
why there are two solenoid valves?
That's how it is
There are 2 types. Single and double. It works slightly different.
