Während die anderen Segler davon berichten, was die letzten Tage für eine Hölle waren, wie erschöpft oder frustriert sie sind, weil sie alles mögliche versuchen, um voranzukommen, hat Boris Zeit, Artikel zu lesen, in denen über seine Route spekuliert wird, und diese zu kommentieren. 😅 So strategisch spannend waren die letzten Rennen auf jeden Fall nicht und alleine deshalb, hoffe ich, dass diese Route belohnt wird. Gut dass du auf deinen Instinkt hörst. Die Route ist definitiv spannend und nur wer wagt, kann auch gewinnen. Die Daumen sind gedrückt, dass du schnell auf die Nordseite des Hochs kommst und dann schön downwind ins Ziel segelst.

Das ist Racing! Ich finde es fantastisch, wie sich die Dinge entwickeln, spannend zu verfolgen, ob da noch ein passendes Windsystem aufploppt oder nicht usw. Wie im waren Leben sind zu bestimmten Zeitpunkten Entscheidungen zu treffen und dann gehts eben weiter. Ich freue mich schon unheimlich auf die Vendee Globe!!! Go Boris!!!

Hallo Boris, zu allererst drück ich dir die Daumen das dein Plan aufgeht. Den Tracker verfolge ich schon mehrere Tage und bin beeindruckt von deinem Mut so weit im Norden zu segeln, da vor Irland du ja noch den Sprung runter in die Biskaya machen musst. Push Push Boris möge dein Plan und Investition aufgehen. 🤙

I can certainly see your logic in your route of north of the high pressure and with Charlie in front of you in order to win you are spot on.great racers follow their own gut not someone else's. successful or not it shows you've got what it takes to do really well in the Vendee.
