Great video. Looks like I'm planning a trip down there next year, all thanks to you! Beautiful area I've never been to but with the Fort and Cumberland Island, I can't wait to go now. Thanks!

Great! The middle of summer can be hot. Cumberland Island is not bad because it's heavily shaded except for the beach. Fort Pulaski can be very hot. Enjoy!!

You should! But you may want to avoid the middle of summer as it can get hot and the sun is strong.

Well Articulated. Keep up the good work.... I was there in 2016 and it's an awesome place to visit. The video-doc that was played at the information center was very good too.

We went there a long time ago (1998) and we remembered that there was a high tide warning saying that you needed to know that you should leave the island long before high tide or you would be stuck on the island. Thanks for sharing.

Wow. Well, they built a very nice new bridge across the south channel of Savannah River. Progress!!

The Cockspur light house should have a new wooden walking path either partly or all the way out to it . I need to check that .

It is cool. Been there. If you stand in the center and just think that you are invincible for a little bit. 📡👽🇺🇸 RUN!!!

We actually walk around on the outside of the fort to see the damage done by the canons. The moat is a breeding ground for Mosquitos 🦟 and they were brutal.😄
