I saw some negative comments as I was about to start, I wanted to look for another video as I didn't want to waste my time But I kept scrolling and saw some nice comments, and there were a lot of them I decided to watch Although the method you're using is different, probably cause I'm using b.s. 8110 the way you simplified and broke down things from the beginning helped me relate yours to what I was taught in class Now I understand this part of the course Thank you very much ma
Your presentation is very clear and the language, good audible voice. voice is perfect to watch the whole 49minute video.keep going. Waiting for more updates from your channel
I think you forgot to add in the w/2 into the total reaction on each support at 41.20min, supposed to be 84kN reaction on each support as opposed to 41.35kN. Simple mistake otherwise a very good and helpful video for structural designers who are still learning. Thanks for sharing
What's interesting is, in practice, I've always dumped the load as a one-way slab onto the surrounding elements. This is conservative, but I always wanted to treat it as 2-way (of course, there is an objective way to determine based on the ratio of the larger dimension divided by the shorter dimension, but my boss always told me to treat as 1-way to be conservative).
Well explained, great appreciation for your hard work. Corrections 1. I think you should mention every span is effective span and not clear span. 2. @18:28 lx/3 3. @41:27 total load is 41.36+42.64=84kN Plz do a video for one more floor that will make it clear the load from column on above floor , how affects the shear of current beam under design. 👍👌👏👏👏
It's an amazing effort. Very effective and useful. Really amazing presentation and the hard work is absolutely outstanding. Thanks a lot. btw, at 20:08 : [(11.625)*4]/3 (not /2). Love from BANGLADESH
hi. thanks for the explanation. One small correction: while calculating the weight of the concrete slab, we are multiplying the slab thickness with unit weight of RCC, not density. Same for beams
That was a great Video I have ever seen sister. you have solved most of my problems. very well explaining and when you combine your explanation with examples, it helps more and everyone can easily understand. thanks a lot for your great work and keep going.
Nice work ..mam keep it up.. clear explanation... duration is long. In some place ur r writing wl/3 and wl/2 too so please verify it.. thank you.. do lot of videos ..
Thank you very much for the amazing video the thing I do not understand is that the triangle load, when you wrote the formula wL/3 but you used wL/2 instead in your solution. So which one I have to use? Regards
Madam from 'Cwill', I became very much enriched by watching your video on load distribution from slab to beam . Now u r requested to kindly upload the videos of reinforcement design of beams, columns & slabs including S.F & B.M diagram . Thanks Utpal Ranjan Samanta Kolkata .
Explanations are very good. understable to a novice. Can you let me know based on the calculations, how to achieve the right size of columns and beams.
Thank you for the amazing video. I have question in the UK we use EC2 and in factored load we use 1.35( Safety factor for dead) load and 1.5(Live Load) but you didnt use the safety factor 1.35 for yor dead load. can you explain why ? and also as requested by others please can you do a full detail design of house, Basement+G+2floors. THank you
if partition loads are considered then we have to subtract 33 percent of total load but if not then no need not multiply so he might have taken partion load and instead of subtracting he just let it be the actual load
Very nice explained about slab load. Expecting more about RCC structure from footing, blinth beam, lintel with sunshade, roof beam, floor slab, pitched (slope roof) roof. With clear sketch.
Thanks.Your explanstion is very good.I am not involve with constrction but it is quite interesting.i have done a building (ground floor only.)i will calculate load on beams & footing before construting other 2 floors.Thank you very much to your advice.
Load distribution from slab to beams explanation exllent.thanks for clear explanation for learner's. Please provide explanatory how to do structural design of small building with g+1 along with building plan. Slab design Beams design Column design Footing design . For newley learner's .l am very happy to say that under stood load distribution from slab to beams.
Thank you ma'am for this video, btw I noticed at 41:17 you only solved for WL/2 therefore the reaction is only 41.35, but I think you forgot to add the W/2 since the formula for the reaction is WL/2 + W/2 ; 20.675(4)/2 + 85.275/2, then the reaction would be 83.9875KN?
Excellent explaination. Kindly shars the IS code from which this load distribution is explained. And please make a video on design of OVERHANGING BEAM.

you are right
Absolutely right...exactly...
she has loads of mistake there.no disrespecting but it's not mistake by her she is just copying and pasting thats it
Bro do you have the plan for this example?????like in the video she has shown beam column layout can I get that house plan?
That's true
respect.... appreciate the hard work you have done... keep going.
Beautiful voice
Beautiful hands
Beautiful hand writing
Awesome explanation 👍
Need more topics
Thank you

which side is taken as shorter if the room dimensions are 9*1m...
@@Moyemoyeengineer 1m is shorter side
HII SIR....Can u explain 3 rd mistake..?how u get that. +42.64KN
u r a very good teacher maam. thank you so much for clearing all my doubts, specially the secondary beam load transfer.
U are very good teacher maam

App ka koi bhi video etna achhe se samadhhati hai n bahot aachha lagta hai
By your video, i got 93 number on RCC ,without using any code.
My teacher also shocked , because they was gave me 21/50 number.
❤
Thank You very much. Great Explanation. One of the best video about the structural engineering. Good luck!
