@@fstorms it does shen you watch her belittle everyone and constantly put people down and see he with shadow weaver doing the same thing to catra. Basically catra's entire plot from season 1-4 is "I am abused and I make it everyone elses problem by abusing them too instead of trying to get help from people who care for me"

Point I found interesting. The corrupted forms of the two characters neatly reflect the differences between them.
Adora is totally uncontrollable, angry, pitiless, even cruel.
Catra becomes tranquil, tame, and quiet.
And both girls find the lack of the traits they know in the other terrifying. Catra was genuinely scared of Infected She-Ra’s wordless fury. Adora was deeply unsettled by Chipped Catra’s blissed out mannerisms.

Personally I think Corrupted She-Ra would win, but there is a chance that Chipped Catra could win too...like, I think she’s more agile and rational, on the other hand Corrupted She-Ra just acts beastly and tries to smash everything on her way...now you got me rlly curious to see how this would turn out LOL

I see Corrupted Catra as Anger, while Chipped Catra is Acceptance. Catra felt left out, abandoned, by the only person that meant something to her, Adora. Corruped Catra has nothing but anger, she blames everything that's happened on Adora, her own bad decision, the ending of reality. Chipped Catra found peace under Prime's control, albeit fake, she finally let go of Adora, kinda the same way Adora had to let go of things previously. Or so it seemed until her chip was broken. Catra realized the things she did were wrong, accepted them and herself in order for her to fully redeem herself, with it ending in her joining the Best Friend Squad. And it was all because of her love for Adora. The power of lesbian didn't only save the world, it saved them both.

Chipped Catra still blamed Adora, you know. Adora tried to help and support Catra throughout the series so saying things like "You broke my heart" or "You hurt me" is unfair.

Chipped carta is so cool and her charadesign is fricking amazing
It’s always interesting to see a characters evil form. We got mad She-ra, not too much. Then we got Dimension Catra which was honestly really fucking cool during the whole near world destruction, a really fitting form for the overall situation. And Chipped Catra which was pretty scary and a good introduction to Horde Primes true strength.
Chipped catra was the creepiest thing this show ever did and I loved it
Did AJ Michalka use a voice synthesiser for corrupted Catra or is that all her? The voice is creepy, unnatural and robotic but at the same time, it's still Catra. If she managed to pull that off without a voice synthesiser, that's some damn impressive voice acting.
Pretty sure AJ Michalka used a voice "changer".Although her voice fits Catra perfectly!!!

@@archevenault It is, but its EXTREMELY difficult and uncomfortable to do. I tried a similar voice and it made it hurt to talk for a few hours afterwords.

I mean, they might be rivals, but Catra is still the person she cares the most about in the world. After all, they grew up together.
@Eredin Makitrz King Of Friendship nice theory, and fighting her off and saying it was Catra not herself, made Adora come over her guilt and see catra as the villain she is (at least at that time) and needing to take her down.

One thing I wish happened is that we could've lingered with the Infected Adora vs Catra fight. Throughout the whole show Adora was holding back against Catra and she never saw just how lucky she was for that. I dunno, I think it would've been interesting for Catra to introspect more on the fact Adora could've been much more terrifying if she didn't still care about her. It's just nice to see the hero be taken seriously for once instead of getting clowned on for being a good person.

Because they got chemistry, but I think too that it wasn't the best option for a couple. Is not bad that they have previously a romantic relationship (is obvious in the whole show), but, I don't know how much sane is be the girlfriend of the person who abused you all your life, tried to murder you at least two times, did to you physical damage and psychologyc, was s fucking manipulator with you, and the worst thing is that Catra blames Adora for all that. Is like, obviosly Catra isn't the most phychologyc stable person. Almost destroyed the fucking universe just for be angry. Duh.
I especially like seeing corrupted Adora fight against Catra in the snow. It was probably the moment Catra realised that she'd only had as much success as she had because Adora had been pulling her punches because of their past friendship. Take that restraint away and Catra soon finds out what she's way out of her weight class 😉
Everyone's out of their weight class with Shera. It's impressive how agile Catra is with a giant alien superhero.

I think Catra (who has more agility and well, _claws)_ can beat Adora.
But Shera? She can stay on her level for only two reasons: Adora is holding herself back and has yet to learn how to control Shera's massive strength and magic. That is why Catra chooses to follow in the footsteps of Shadow Weaver and focuses her plans on attacks on the morality of Adora, who is easily manipulated and naive about the goodness of people.
Good guys going bad is always so satisfying to see for some reason 😊

I do wish they made corrupted Adora a bit more sinister and warthful, and had more scenes of her. The thing which interest me the most is that she becomes a bloodthristy maniac who will fight every single living this which she see's and she won't stop till the target is dead. What i kind of liked is that she actually "smiles" as she is about to kill Catra and the fact that she did not stopped nor Adora actually herself managed to fight off the corruption is interesting. It would've been more interesting, if in season 4 we seen a fight between a Catra who is mentally exausted and corropted Adora who is actually battle-set to kill her and kind of Catra actually being afraid that that Adora is not even resporind to her taunts, she is just smilling and enojying herself.
The fact that Catra maintained herself while the universe was collapsing out of pure spite is why I loved her even before her redemption. I just respect the Hater Energy.

I think the main reason corrupted She-Ra works so well is because of how much weight is given to her movements. She’s this big immovable force, so unlike how she usually is, it’s horrifying especially since not even she can control herself.
