As you can see, I have stretch marks 👀…. And so has Barbie too! 🤣 Where do you have stretch marks??
Please don’t feel pressured to “do something” about them... they are a normal part of life - all bodies stretch and there is nothing weird or ugly about that! Set your own beauty standards and ditch the shame. ❤️

I had stretch marks following the birth of my only child. My daughter used to love stroking my stretch marks. I think it was comforting to her. When she developed speech, she would call them 'tiger stripes' and tell me I was her 'tiger mom' . I loved how she not only saw them as a natural part of me but something positive. I embraced them from that point and honestly... I don't care that I have them. They're as much a part of me as my arms and legs are. By the way, my 26 year old daughter still calls them 'tiger stripes'.

That's cool for you 😎, I got one keep in mind I'm not a very big person and I was kind of at that time in my life I already had a toddlers and before I knew it I having and baby. They are both grown and parents too and being a grandma but they call me something else that I decided on and it fits and they smile when they say it. My stretch mark is hardly visible so, and it's faded and they all do I had them on my breasts and unless you have a magnifying glass you can't see them, stay strong and healthy and do what is going to be best for you so long as you don't get more scaring. That's what I always think about, they are Mommy marks, and like the doctor said use moisturizer all the time, stay hydrated don't, don't smoke, and take it easy on sugar, don't drink soda pop.

Thank you!! I have fair skin and live "across the pond" 😂 in Arizona, and I've been binge-watching your channel and have seriously appreciated your willingness to share education on these many topics. Trusted sources are verrrrrry difficult to come by, especially because so many experts with experience are also hiding professional biases (such as pro this idea, anti that philosophy, paid by this company, etc.). I love that you are evenhanded on every topic, even ones as simple as scented or unscented cleansers, and that your personal/professional opinions are clear and upfront AND that you explain your reasons for those opinions. As a viewer (and I'm sure your patients could say the same too), the fact that you do all these things as I have mentioned... really shows how much honor you give to each person, gifting to them, including me, a type of kindness and respect as a fellow human being that encourages me to make my own informed conclusions and increase my own autonomy with my unique, special, sacred body! Just like everyone else's!! 🥰😭 In short, thank you so much for all you are doing!!!! Much love to you and all others from your sister in the States. 🥰❤❤

It's true that they do just fade overtime since I had one before that's now barely noticeable. It does sometimes gives me insecurities but then again it is normal! Just annoyingly itchiy when they first appear and I'm not sure if scratching them would only make them worse. I have stretch marks on my hips & buttocks…. but only with my 3rd pregnancy. I do believe that it’s because I had my first 2 children in my 20’s and the 3rd child in my late 30’s. In my experience, young skin recovers faster and better from pregnancy stretching. Close to 40 (or older) skin doesn’t bounce back quickly, ergo stretch marks. African Raw Shea butter does help them fade and even almost disappear, along with manual self-massage and/or cupping❤️

I find that kukui nut oil and good ole fashion coco butter works well in fading them. Stretch marks can happen to anybody, men also get them. For women, the most common areas are breasts, hip, butt cheeks, upper thighs, inner thighs. They're really ugly signs of your skin stretching. Strivectin also works in improving the look of stretch marks.

Hi! You’re welcome! Glad you find my videos helpful. There isn’t much evidence that Bio-Oil helps improve the appearance of stretch marks. I would recommend putting the hyaluronic acid on first and if you still want to use Bio-Oil, then put that on top of the hyaluronic acid.

Hi! I Really liked you video because it informed me a lot about stretch marks. I had a question with what order should I apply the products you linked in the description?? Or do I apply them in the order you have listed them? And would you recommend to use all the products listed??

Very nice video. I got a stretch mark cream from mastoora beauty and it was amazing for my skin, I still have stretch marks 6 months on but I have had them since I was 14 and I'm now 32. So I'm hoping they will be gone in another 6 months or year.
It will just take time I guess and most don't allow time

I’ve lost and gained a lot of weight several times due to childhood Henoch-Schönlein purpura, puberty, depression, and PCOS so I’ve got a lot of stretch marks all over. I don’t mind looking at them much these days although the ones on my stomach aren’t as nice. They have faded over time and don’t look so red and bad. The main issue with my stretch marks is that they seem to attract cysts and spots, especially on the inner thighs. And because the skin is bumpy it makes it harder to shave. I’ve heard that urea would help but I’m going to try out hyaluronic acid or tretinoin to see how it goes just so that my thighs are a bit smoother.

I wish i would care less about them but i love crop tops as such i always have to be cautious my high waist hasnt slagged down. I really wish i would embrace them but the expansion of them made them worse than what I had accepted. Thanks for sharing the solutions hopefully i can find the easy method in my country

I’ve had stretch marks since I was pregnant with my first child 23 1/2 yrs ago. Very wide ones on my hips especially. I also have stretch marks on the front of my thighs, lower stomach and butt cheeks. What can I do to treat my OLD stretch marks? Also, my sister was just recently diagnosed with Cushings Disease after struggling with symptoms for 8 years. I have been thin all my life besides my pregnancies. About 3 years ago I gained about 46lbs in the matter of just a few months. I have recently been told my thyroid is under active and have been place on meds for it. I have lost no weight no matter how hard I try. I diet, I barely eat and still see zero results. I’ve had a full hysterectomy in 2008 and based on my sisters reccomendation has had tons of blood work done to check my levels. I don’t feel as though my family Dr is equipped to deal with such issues. I have been referred to an endocrinologist for my thyroid issues in hopes to figure out whatever it is that my body is going through. This weight gain has me down and out, extremely self conscious to the point I don’t want to be around people, especially the ones that know me and see the weight gain. My stretch marks have always made me insecure, I haven’t worn a regular bathing suit for 24 years! It’s always a pair of shorts or a bathing suit skirt. Please any advice and suggestions you have based on the above are greatly appreciated. I will try anything!!
