The "Ba Ba Ba Bas" Michael was singing was probably horns he was hearing in his head, but it never got to the point of recording a horn section.
Yes. Theres horns in the re-recorded version he did in 1991.
He finished it and re-produced it
It's a fine demo but the final product really became something much more. One of his finest ballads ever written, a shame people outside of his staunch fan base doesn't know about it.
somehow i like this demo better, but i still like the finished product, the melody is "happier" and soothing here, and the finished one is like slower and intriguing, mj and friends did a great job

Yeah, the final product is a master piece and one of his best songs ever recorded. It would have been a smash hit if it was released on Dangerous, as a single with a music video

@@thepubknight6144 yeah, the finished photo for the album was touched up a lot, MJ was still pretty much with his original skin color (in the face) when he took that photo session for the bad album
It's sad someone stole Brads laptop but the estate have given us nothing and as a fan of MJ I can't be too sad that I get to hear new music and see his work behind the scenes 🤷♂️
When I was younger I always disliked the work from Michael's estate. But as I got older, I started to enjoy every single project they made (besides the fake tracks on the Michael album and Thriller 40). I am even the opinion that releasing songs, which aren't finished and approved by Michael to release, is a wrong way (besides if Michael really loved a song and wanted to release it but couldn't because of place or something else).
@@mjlivetv8065 Mj would have released them anyway. He always said to never hold back your work and talent and always put things out to the world to enjoy it. His words… but the Estate fucked him and his work up.
@@gmentertainmenttv9312 From what I've heard is that Michael hated to see unfinished songs being released or even leaked. For example he was totally against the fact that some people leaked his song Xscape.

i like how michael in this demo sounds like a mix of off the wall, thriller, bad, and triumph era versions of his singing especially his falsetto and baritone vocals

I'm shocked to hear that someone stole Brad's computer and hard drive during a seminar. Those presentations are an incredibly precious peek into Michael's thought process and the progression that a song of his goes through. We all long for this stuf to be released, the Estate is crap at managing Michael's unfinished work, all of this is widely known by this point. But a theft is unacceptable. Brad must be devastated.
