      Also AoE atk is technically in campaign (WoL hyperion in the cutscene) although it's only in cutcene not on playable version in HotS and NCO

    I think shooting while moving, yamato cannon and Teleport are 3 abilities and actually the bc right now is the strongest version sc2 ever provided

      Then you got SC2 carriers that went from 4 armor in brood war down to 2 armor. XD

    The ability that battlecruiser attack ground in splash damage was still in game. The Hyperion at the end of Zero Hour uses that as a default attack.

    If they wanted to make something fancy they could have made it shoot aoe on two flanks, needing it to fly over the enemy and past the safety of your troops to make massive dmg but bein very easy to target and single out.

    It's still way stronger than the OG Battlecruiser, mostly because it can warp now.

    Wrong. We saw all of them. 2 as upgrades in the campaign, and the plasma torpedoes are used by the hyperion in cutscenes

    We've seen battlecruiser in a plenty-good-enough form. If either protoss or zerg players had a unit that good, it would be curtains. Fortunately only the least skilled players get them and rarely use them, despite mass BC being literally undefeated in pro games.

      Wait i guarantee some BC harass games against Zerg were lost. I remember one in particular where the Zerg nabbed the harass BC’s with neural.
      But I assume you mean super late game BC switches? Here I swear I saw one on a map dark something with all the red crystals where BC lost.
      It’s also not uncommon to make BC in TvT.
      But I get your point the unit seems underused given Yamato is free damage with insane range and teleport lets you keep them alive for repeated repair.
      Slow build time snd tech lab starport is part of the issue, second even if your upgrading ship weapons your likely to be behind, and third Terran have ghosts and Thors for long range damage. Bio does crazy DPS and can be highly mobile while libs range + high damage make them better anti ground.
      They can be fungaled, neuro’d, yoinked, and blasted by tempests. Plus they’re kinda slow.

      If you mono unit BCs
      Protoss will remind you why the game used to be called Legacy of the Void Ray by its players
      Zerg will toss corruptors and vipers until they black out the sun.
      Terran will scoff and say "fascinating, but have you considered 5000 vikings to the face?"
      BCs being undefeated in pro play does not mean BCs are broken it means The Pros found themselves in a position where they could get it online faster than it could be responded to.

      @@Rebellions you can always say "If I build this they ywill just build that" but it's not a useful statement. If BCs are undefeated, it means they should probably do it a bit more often.

    BC after 2019 is a hell spawn. It should not have move atack or tactical jump at the same time, and it should have energy bar as it use to be had! (although the letter only the Protoss could benefit, the Zerg not)

    Most dog shit balanced unit in the game. Warp that has no research cost. Comes out before zerg can get 3 corruptors off a spire rush. Shoots while moving. But hey zerg OP…

      1 bc dies to three to five queens which the Zerg would have if Zerg macro properly,also corruptor has the vomit ability on building, that shit is strong.

    lets talk about tanks vs lurkers. tanks have low tech requirements hence avalaible in early game. lurkers require a hive to get the +2 range upgrade which increases the range to laughable 10 while siege tanks have 13 standard. and they can shoot when they move. and they are cheaper. I mean, only a mentally ill person thinks that zerg is op vs terran.

      I mean.... Lurkers are more mobile, they get stealth, they attack faster , have no minimum range and they are produced by the race with the highest economy and best production. Tanks are great but lets not pretend that the Lurkers do not have their advantages.
      Also, Tanks kind of are tier 2 units for Terran, so while Lurkers require Hive, the requirements for the 2 are not that far apart actually. The only tier 3 units of Terran are BC and Thors. The only tier 1 units of Terran are the Marine and Reaper as far as I am concerned .(maybe)

      tanks aren't invisible.
      tanks don't hit everything in a line.
      tanks have a minimum range.
      tanks shoot much slower (lurker DPS is actually higher).
      tanks take much longer to unsiege. tanks do not have an upgrade that makes them siege and unsiege faster (from 2 seconds to 1.07 seconds if I recall. Tanks take 3.5 seconds to siege/unsiege)
      tanks do friendly fire splash damage.
      tanks don't have a support caster that tanks enemy units into your pile of tanks.
      lurkers don't need to deal with an enemy caster that can put a cloud over them reducing their attack range to 1, which would force them to reposition, except they take 3.5417 seconds to unsiege, so there's actually no counterplay except to emp/snipe the viper before blinding cloud gets out.
      don't get me wrong tanks are great but your argument here is quite disingenuous.
      this all doesn't count that Zerg has faster tech switching, remaxing, can bank production, etc, so they can make 60 hydras and morph like 10 of them to lurker much easier than Terran can make tanks (you don't have 10+ factories)

      What? Lurkers are invisible units, require detection, have no minimal range and definitely a lot more splash damage and DPS.
