This is a bad decision and emotional one, how can you prove this....how does this make it better for the family..... sometimes , I feel jail does not help the depressed people it just make them worse and inhuman ....this why someone can be jailed for murder and come out and in a week and do the same crime....if Jail had therapists they would work but in this case , its between the woman words vs those of the man. The woman is not owning and does not understand how to support a depressed individuals... they blaming eachother in stead of looking for solutions

The last time he came home drunk, and he admits it - he threw the child down from the balcony. The child is now lame. The food they eat as a family in the house is bought by the man who is both buying him drinks and fucking the wife. The man isn't remorseful despite not knowing where the next meal and rent will come from. Why should the woman continue the suffering? For the violence on the child alone, prison is appropriate.

The woman has taken responsibility by stating that she goes out of the marriage as the only way to put food on the table for the family and the man can't counter that because he hasn't bought food since he lost his job.
