Hi Mel Wow mate you got your Mojo back after all your trials and tribulations over the last few months Really enjoy this video ***** seeing from start to finish a project that's well planned and thought out even if you did copy idea I am sure you adapted it to suit your van , but we have all done that mate . you also had some sun on your back too best wishes Gary and Mon 50/50😎👍☀
Hey Mel, Nice addition. I made a slide out drawer for the back of mine a few months ago, single decker drawer though. I put a 75mm up stand edge, 3” for us older folk, which negates the need for any bungee or straps and thus far the crates go nowhere. Certainly makes life easier getting to the rear crates just pulling the drawer out. Good job!
The Bikes will be going inside or I’ll be fitting a bike rack to one of the rear doors they aren’t priority for me but my diving and metal detecting gear is 🤓🫶👍
I’m thinking about putting them on the back doors but to be honest they are not really priority like my diving and metal detecting equipment are that’s where my passion is and the direction that I’m looking at going I’ve even started a new channel all about treasure hunting 🤓🫶👍
Should of had storage split in two so access from inside for clothes etc and outside for all other stuff that’s what I did with my converted bus a few years ago
I don’t get the design, the fact that it pulls out doesn’t really help with the lower boxes, u still have to pull them out of the drawer to open them, so where do u put them to open them? On the ground? But hey if it suits u Mel then fair enough👍
I dont get the concept. I would of built a shelf between 5 to 6 inches the full width, raised the battery's to sit on the new shelf that would maximise your space the draw underneath with compartments . you'd find things so much easier and you could lose 2 of them bins. Sorry to be horrible.keep up with the good content,I always look forward to your video's.wish you did more.
Love your videos mate....but I don't see the point at all with this slider for plastic boxes. You can easily slide these boxes out from the back of the van without the slider. You've just added a whole lot of weight to pull around.
Hello Mel, don’t really get it mate. A lot of work a lot of extra weight. Why didn’t you just put the plastic boxes under the bed? One on top of the other? If you was a mate of mine and I’ve known you for years, I would say you’re losing it. You better come and have a couple of beers, mate. I hope you haven’t lost it, mate.

Nice editing! Took some real effort-and time-I imagine.
0:45 I _strongly_ recommend Loctite threadlock in vans, especially in places like drawer runners that are a pain when they come loose.
Good tip thanks 🙏
was thinking that myself or some spring washers!!
A lovely job Mel 👍👍
Great job
Thank you ☺️
Nice bit of storage good job 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Nice one
great addition Mel . I bet you will find a better way of securing the upper crates without the bungee cords. Nice to see you back on the Vario
Thank you for your positive feedback and kind words really appreciated 🤓🫶👍

Brilliant job👍

What brand is your silver impact driver & what do you think of it? Would you recommend it?
Wickes cheap as chips and I’ve had it for years so yes 👍
Nice job Mel
Thank you! Cheers! 🍻 🫶👍
Does your track saw have a fine blade added as the cut looks really clean.
No it’s just new 🤓👍
4:16 same brand Tippex pen that I'm using at the moment! Good aren't they?
Yes they are 🤓👍
Nice work as usual Mel, id use nylon nuts on the runners though can see them loosing with the vibrations
Good tip! Thanks 🙏
Nice job buddy
Thanks for the visit and the positive energy 🤓🫶👍
Lols amazing something il like to do one day to mine. I had one small quick question? What your going to do with your ebike?
The Bikes will be going inside or I’ll be fitting a bike rack to one of the rear doors they aren’t priority for me but my diving and metal detecting gear is 🤓🫶👍
@ definitely those are :) I lost a lot of garage space because I have to fit my ebike in. Looks great 😊
Amazing ❤
Thank you! Cheers! 🍻 🫶👍
👍
Bet you wish you had Laura's workshop Mel......😊
Work bench to close to caravan have you hit it yet
It looks closer than it actually is
I wouldve just built shelving nkt on a rail mel looks good tho
Will you still have enough room for the bike and your metal detector, etc.? Difficult to tell from camera angle. Great video Mel. Michelle
Yes absolutely yes and my diving equipment too 🫶👍
@@BigVanSmallWorld Great. I should have guessed you would have thought of that.
Where's the bike(s) going Mel? Another great tutorial.

@@BigVanSmallWorldgreat design ! Why ? Because that’s how you wanted it !❤ oh and sorry ? Not sorry
Hi Mel …was that ‘Laura Kampf’ she sounds German ? Living in USA? Grt work you do 👍🏴
Love your videos mate....but I don't see the point at all with this slider for plastic boxes. You can easily slide these boxes out from the back of the van without the slider. You've just added a whole lot of weight to pull around.
Why you've built the drawer O N the slides instead of BETWEEN them? You lost at least 60 liters of cargo volume ...
Sorry mel Can’t see the meaning in your design to make a box to put boxes in.
Your choice tho mel. Hope it works for you.
Good box make tho.
