Lazarus Trailer Music - Bonobo (Super Extended)

Directed by Shinichirō Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop) (Samurai Champloo) Lazarus is an upcoming anime produced by MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen) (Attack on Titan) (Chainsaw Man) is to release on Adult Swim's Toonami sometime sometime this year or next year. the official date is TBD. Set in the year 2052, Lazarus tells the story of how Hapuna, a newly developed miracle drug created by a renowned neuroscientist, starts to wreak havoc on society once the public discovers how the drug's users die three years after taking it.
The trailer music that plays is so good i decided to make a almost 20 minute extension to the song. if you like this check out Bonobo, the man who composed this song. this is my first time doing something like this so it's not perfect but I tried my best.

The animation style of Lazarus does feel a bit too similar to Space Dandy and Carole & Tuesday, with that colorful, sleek look Watanabe is known for in his more lighthearted projects. Don’t get me wrong, it fits the vibe, but given the premise of Lazarus, which seems more serious and dystopian, I think Shuko Murase’s style might suit it better.
Murase’s work on Ergo Proxy and Samurai Champloo has that darker, grittier feel with more textured linework and shadows, which would ground Lazarus in a way that aligns with its heavier themes. His mix of realism and stylized characters could bring a more mature tone that fits the story.
Given how well Watanabe and Murase have collaborated before, that kind of aesthetic could really elevate the project.

Are you sure it's Bonobo and not Floating Points who's behind the trailer music? Both are listed in the credits and that signature jazzy Rhodes piano playing and percussion reminds me so much of Floating Points' debut album Elaenia.
