No clients are being shown, I already have my Alfa in monitor mode, and it worked a day ago and stopped since. What can I do? I tried -kill as well, nothing has changed
I was able to get a key with wordlist-probable but the pw was really easy. I've tried harder passwords with a bigger dictionary file that takes like 40 minutes to run it, and no success with the harder passwords. If it doesn't work once, will it work by running the same dictionary attempt again?
it worked, i changed my iphone password to babygirl and it worked. but didnt work on the real password which isnt so complicated. any suggestions how to crack better?
Hey Pat, love your videos. Question though, do you get many community guideline strikes? I have a channel, where I've been uploading educational content related to phishing. I've had to make three appeals for the content to stay up, however, one appeal recently failed, and now I have a strike. Just wondering how much of the content that you upload, gets taken down?
Thank you so much I really appreciate that. I guess it all depends. You just have to let them know it’s educational purposes. And I guess certain words they don’t like any algorithm. I just had a few strikes and then I appeal. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t if not, you can’t upload for two weeks.
@@InfoSecPat Thanks for the response! It's confused me so much - they've let me upload a video for a tutorial on a phishing program, but gave me a strike for a video showing how to use a LocalXPose token. So weird! Hopefully I can figure it all out. All the best!

Always fail to take handshake
I have tried many ways and always failed at capturing handshake !
Make sure your wireless chip set supports monitor mode and packet injection
Try to use alfa adapter with monitor mode
Use a good adapter and dont try on far networks with bad adapters you may lose connection

pasword list wont figure it, it just doing luck..imagine you got thousand of key to door but not of the master key belong to the door

Try evil twin or brute force
With a handshake from a network that has wps enabled can you do an offline wps attack? And avoid the timeout

When you have a better longer file to crack, that’s the best way to run that against a hash file

Yeah, it’s pretty simple. You just get wordlist and you save them to a directory.
