This reward is just 100% useless. It changes the sound, but at the cost of being able to equip an actual useful or fun badge. They could've just made it an extra option, but nope they've turned it into a badge slot. Honestly though, I think the game's pretty weak overal with weak replay value. It's pretty easy to 100% and a grand total of 1 level that can't be done before beating the final boss. And even for a special final challenge level it's just the weakest of any we've gotten since Nintendo started adding these to Mario games.

@@RockStoneLee19 Nah, I'm not. I'm just above average for single player, but nothing special. Multiplayer games I'm just average, if that (granted, I don't put in the time to actually get good at them these days. But even at my best I was still only a bit above average at these).

This is this game's equivalent of being able to play as a static 3D 8-bit Mario model in Odyssey. Something stupid, not functional in any way, just aesthetically extremely stupid just because, just for the sake of it. Just to do something dumb. I love it.

I wished there was like... a New Game+ mode that allows you to play from the beginning but having all badges right away. I don't really like to replay a game when all the collectables are already collected.

I think that’s just a TikTok inside joke or something. I just got the badge (at the time of this writing) and I’ve been killing myself for over 40 minutes like a jackass. Sadly it’s just the normal sounds 😂

I can’t decide weather I love or hate this badge. I just finished the final badge stage AGAIN since I didn’t hit the top of the flag because I just lost all momentum and didn’t even know it at the last jump.
I wish it was a combination of all the other basic badges but I realized that couldn’t really work because of the vine one (tbh my least favorite).
While I love the shitpost nature of the badge, my thumbs hurt and I want a better reward lmao.
Maybe the real reward was the friends we made along the way
honestly wasn't that upset because 100%ing this game isn't all that tough besides the special world, and even then the final trial is, in my opinion, easier than Champion's Road.
So my thumbs remain unscathed and I just found this really funny

This probably the funniest thing that Nintendo has ever implemented into a game whenever someone beats the game 100% or completing the entire Special World.
This is just like the "Human Gun Sounds" cheat from TimeSplitters: Future Perfect!
May not be worth it gameplay wise but it’s still pretty damn hilarious
According to director Shiro Mouri, this effect on activation would have seen "a live-action version of Mario with human proportions" appear in the stage who would be "humming the background music and mimicking the various sound effects himself" as he went through it.

In World it was just a fun little extra. In this game it prevents you from equipping a useless badge. The weirdness is fine, IMO... but not the fact that it also gimps you to just normal gameplay. It'd be something different if this resulted in actually gimping Mario so the stages are harder, but that you'd gain a reward for beating the stages with this. But the way they implemented it just makes it pointless.
This is basically Super Mario Bros. Wonder if it was Powered By The Cheat.

@@lelouchvibritannia7702 That took me hours to complete mostly it requires perfect precision and not screwing up once like going too fast or going too slow is punishment sometimes I keep forgetting to actually do a wall jump I always keep the button of the opposite direction every time I get close to a block.
The badge represents the pain and suffering endured over and and over at the torture known as the final badge level. It represents all the tears shed by the repeated failures just to improve in that hellish level.
