Okay great video but I'm having lots of trouble here. I'm using Full Guardian Spirit armor and by hemming certain parts, obtained reckless abandon +1, ESP, Quick Eating, and Para Duration Halved. I'm still trying to kill Ukanlos and failed many times. My most powerful weapons are regulation gunhammer, juggernaut, and Kirin thundersword but I failed using the juggernaut. Should I continue to use it and try again or use the gunhammer?
for great sword you would use similar tactics with the bonus of being able to defend if you get in a tight spot, also you would get thee chance to cyt off its tail
they have about 2 download quests on the download page last i checked anyway and yeah cloudfantasy is right use one when akantor is about to use wind tunnel and he will be down for about 2 hammer golfswings as well as drop a shiney (best way i can time it as i fight him with a hammer) but i think he will go into rage mode automattically

Actually, that is simply one use of 'woot'. It was used prior to the existance of counterstrike even, in MMO's, and even in some real life scenarios. You cannot say something was made on a game when the game didn't even exist at the time.
Hakuro, please remember this is a "Newbie Guide". Super Pounding is safer for noobs because it's easier to roll out of than a spinny-golf swing. Most new players are probably more comfortable super-pounding and rolling out quickly than going for a high-risk attack.
i beat him in 20 mins with hammer (Blacksmith) heres a tip make powertalon and Armour talon (by combining P.charm and A.charm with Lao shan claw) once u have them u can also have the regular power and amourcharm aswell as the power and armourtalons at the same time.And also bring ur cat he will help take the heat off u sometimes giving u tym to heal
To get jolly roger armor you have to download jumpquests idk if they'll be available atm to U.S. So we might have to wait and see xD. her gender is female also :P lol.
Nice guide. But frankly , the tail swipe Uca does leaves a very vulnerable opening . One which is enough for a Triple Pound. Just roll to his left foot when he is about to tail swipe. ;) And TP his face !!!! Yesh! - credit me if u revamped ur guide. lol. jkjk. xD

or u can try kicking ur felyne when he's down, he will get back up right away 100 % and he will start attacking the enemies, another one is try rasing ur felynes font to 5 hearts. that will make the cat never lie down = )
i brought narga S i think...the one you need loads of narga heavenly scales for....i got loads of them heavenly scales from the dual g rank narga quest, so you should do that if you dont already have the armour.
i used the magnitude with g ranked azure ratholos plate, gauntlet, and waist armor with high ranked leggings and sword saint shield. it took me about 35 minutes to do it but i missed a bunch of head shots because it was my first time.
This quest that makes me retire play MHFU but I decided to take another shot to beat this shit again now, its my policy not to search/watch any guide but im so stuck and this is my first guide that I watch when play MHFU
Using a hammer means you can't block its submerged submarine attack. Without the High Grade Earplug armor skill you would have taken damage from its howl because you can't block it with a Hammer.
Getting this game tomorrow, (lives in England, has to wait until 26th D:) Can't wait to fight this thing. I will probably get owned lol, I was never good at getting a high HR rank. I can probably do all the village chief quests though.

nah the reason i think the octopus should be the last boss is because it is so weird it floats has tentacles fits perfect and can swallow you witch will kill you in 1 hit the uka and the akantor fit perfectly into the game do you get what im goin for?

Had to do the quest 2-3 times without bombs before the peddler sold them again. We bought 900 each haha. Didnt really cost much, from memory either.

@MegaCobraking usuallly when you hit it will rise up after and do a scream like an akantor. but it will not be glowing orange red like akantor

My friend and I tried to beat the ukanlos for the first time we failed badly. But the second time we were close to killing it.
