They had no idea how to handle the girl “home alone”! She reminded me of someone on the spectrum. She was naive and behaved inappropriately to what was a terrifying situation to suddenly find yourself in. She both fascinated them and unnerved them; I think this freaked the guys out on a couple of levels and that’s what saved her. Superb acting from all three.
