The one AC battle that destroyed loads of players because of it's annoying first part of the level and brutal AI on Zinaiada, which is even harder on the Vita version.

Beating this on a PSP with one fucking analog stick that's not even a legitimate analog stick was the most cancerous bs I've ever tried to accomplish. By the time I finally did it I wasn't even happy or proud, just relieved that I was finished with it. Fuck Zinaida and all those bastards with OP-INTENSIFY/H+.

Ah yes, PSP version definitely feels hard just because of one single analog stick alone, with that said I don't think I'll ever get used to having use a Dualshock controller to aim with another analog stick

@@FSVR54 try it. If you don't have a bit of hand cramp and headache that felt like a long drive after playing this game then you havent played.
I disagree that Zinaida's AI was altered to be more airborne in the portable release. In the PS2 version she is just as airborne, having played both games and this fight in particular over and over on different builds. I can tell you that she will react differently to your AC setup, which may affect her flight maneuvers, but I would say seeing her on the ground for this amount of time is an exception and not a rule. The biggest addition of difficulty on the portable version is the Vita controls, other than that I actually had an easier time on it than the PS2 by virtue of having experienced the game already. None of the fights were tuned harder than the PS2 version that I could tell.
It's amazing how grounded Zinaida stays here as opposed to on the PSP version, where she is EXCLUSIVELY flying

Now everyone just imagine how hard this mission would be if Zinaida started with full health. That would probably break way too many players. (PS: have also beaten Zinaida and yeah the number of attempts and reworking of my build took alot of attempts)
It took me about 30 tries before I could defeat her for the first time. Damn she is really the hardest opponent I have ever faced in any game.

@@imperiousrex128 yeah I beat her very often now. Although it takes me mostly 3 pr 5 tries to finish her off. She is definitely the hardest opponent I have ever fought in a video game
there's no way she isnt at least close to full, she survives 4 LX shots when 4 or 5 are usually enough to scrap a middleweight AC. I think the sparking is just a cutscene effect.
@@oh-no-its-clara7574 I agree, I was trying to do some testing and the best I got with the Titan super missile arms was 6 out of the 8 to hit her (it is HELLA not easy to bait her into supers, got use the ceiling to get her stuck and turned around so her crazy AMS doesn’t kill all the supers, even with that 6 out of 8 is the best I can get to hit her) and it still only triggers first dialogue from operator, not even the 2nd one from Zinaida herself.
TLDR, I’m pretty damn sure she wouldn’t be able to tank 6 super missiles if she was low or half health at all

This is the hardest level in the series, IMO. Took me like 4 hours to beat her. I’ve defeated her using the right arm linear gun with the ast linear rifle along with the rifle EO and the 4 round ECM maker. Used the large rocket for the panels and dropped it before the fight. I also used a light-mid weight leg.
I think the ultimate pulcerizer (the one u get when u beat all the missikns) is harder than she is. I was only able to beat it once without cheesing it with mega missles.
@@emillerner6362 The final pulverizer is not as hard as long as you have stuff like the dual triple back rockets and the spread bazooka weapon arms. That one helped me a lot.

@@Zephhi It took me like an hour or 2 to beat him. Speed along with the Solid EOs, linear guns, and/or having both the left & right arm machine guns/handguns can help, too.
nevertheless, AC Last Raven had pretty awesome boss to fight n i never get tired to fight them all again.

To be fair, the Roc4 consumes so little energy that I practically am not wasting any energy at all, but I do understand the concern, you absolutely do need the speed and energy to get away from her

Alright, so my psp save in my PC got corrupted and i have to re-play LR all over again, which is fine, i like the game a lot- except for this mission. I have to refer back to this video on how to beat her because i haven't replayed this mission for a LONG TIME (No surprise since i absolutely hate this mission on psp), and i forgot how much the *****-*** ****-waffle loves to stay off-ground, so the lobster design doesn't do shit and i eventually had to resort to cheap tactics by cornering her and crack her open using the Moonlight. Now that i've went through the nightmare of having to re-play the mission, i can certainly cement her as one of the, if not THE Toughest AC battle in the entire series.

Oh boy, the psp version of this mission was rutheless, the fact they made her harder on the psp was cruel to begin with as the controls were harder
Giving her Infinite energy with the Python railgun is one thing. Giving her a Lamia2 which can break your head in 5 shots is another thing... Honestly that's pretty much how i die most of the time.
My dude, I still play my psp from time to time these days, and honestly, I agree with you that while she is THE most infuriating boss fight and quite possibly the spawn of satan himself, she is also the most memorable and satisfying victory boss fight in the entire AC franchise and if so, maybe in my entire gamer's life.
EDIT: Also be glad they didnt give her a Geryon3 with her godly aim.
her loadout is far scarier
you know you must Avoid the Geryon3, but you won't think much of the python and Lamia untill you realize your head or arm just got blown off
the dick move is on her AI, especially on the portable version, she will ALWAYS try to be above you, on the portable version they facilitate this for her by giving her an infinite capacitator
(the only saving grace is that her AI just as rock stupid as the rest , hence you can exploit it)

Solution for frustrated players: infinite AP (regenerates only when you stand), infinite ammo, and infinite energy. However, at the end, you still lose.

just go for this fight with a plan and an AC that is faster than hers

I've been trying to beat her for a while now today, but she's not at all behaving as she does in this video. I'm on the PS2, but she's flying almost the whole time and coming down everyone once in a while. She's just flying really fast in a circle way above me and raining down NIX and Python shots.
+Brandon Lum well, i when fighting her try to stick in the middle a bit as she likes to circle around the room a bit near the walls, and if you try to outrun here by going the same route, you will lose the race, but above all i would say try learning to dodge a bit of her attacks before going into the attack yourself.

Her AI on both versions always tries ot ensure one thing: being above you
you olny have a few ways to fight bakc legitemately(by htis i mean wihout building an AC specifically meant ot take her):
Be faster than her, while having good energy management, this lets you out maneuver her and get good hits in while you circle her(this is insanely difficult on the psp version since she has infinite energy there)
Outlast her, htis is the slow method and not advise since she has a ton of ammo to waste and 2 Extremely dangerous weapons(the Python Railgun and the Lamia2 pulse cannon both capable of stagerring you and breaking parts very quickly)
cause Armored Core AI is random as hell

I shit you not.. I gave up this game over a decade ago because I did the wrong quest and didn't get the PYTHON. I thought my game was broken. I looked up today and the quest I did was SHUTDOWN INTERNECINE and I thought it was the right one but I needed DESTROY THE INTERNECINE.

Damn...Therefore, that AI AC is still the real pain in the ass. Fast aim is the real challenge there.

although unlike the Ac version of nineball She technically cheats
most of her parts are upgraded versions of the one you have available(most noticeable on the fire rate of her railgun the missile arcs being less wide, ala hi act missiles and being equiped with EVERY optional part even tho her core doesnt havem roe than 20 slots and one of those parts is the Op-Intensifiy that whenever available otthe player uses all slots)
but worse of all its her Energy...she has a inifinte capacitator for this fight, on the ps2 version she had the nasty habit of staying ariborne for the whole thing unless stunned while pelting you with her back pulse cannon as if she had Op-I.

@@Teixas666 Man, I really wish the game didn't technically cheat just to make your opponents more difficult. That's probably the thing that killed ps2 era AC for me. You spend all this time hunting for the unlockable parts you want and you can't even use them the way the AI does.
Are you using PCSX2? Could you share the versions and your settings? It would be greatly appreciated.
I know that we have to use software mode (shit graphics) to avoid black screen issue, but your graphics is not that bad.

Seems like her targeting was off here on the vita version. I would know X.X Only ever beat her once, with a hyper-light and mg800/ some pistol

And I remember zanaida final battle was the only mission in the game that made rage quit for A WHILE then I freak out when I beat it a month later

think of the aerial pulverizer but really souped up on some additional gear and the aiblites ot match
unless you are chesing him(hell i've seen pl beating it with parry blades) this fight is rough, the pulverizer has attacks capable of runing your day in one good hit and his " rage" attack renders it invulnerable with shootin atyou with attack with near the same output as the LX linear cannon( dual back unit ,strongest direct hit weapon in the game)
his other attacks are more annoying than anythuing and its a bit of a hp sponge(he has way more than 9999 AP)
+Garrison Marchbanks zinaida can be cheesed, and in some cases there is no shame in doing it :P
cuz unless you are really good at keeping moble targts in your lock box zinaida will ruin your day with her AC on steroids(she basically cheats in a number of ways that fight and loves ot be airborne )

Well that music is not the original soundtrack although the ost from LR sucks apart from the Tune that plays in the homescreen. Thats a badass soundtrack

Which one between this mission or the mission that fight airborne pulverizer is the real ending of this game?
This battle is only a what if scenario.
Zinaida destroyed the internecine when the airborne pulverizer was created.
all of the ending are "what if" scenrarios since in one way or the other LAst raven is the "ending" of the current gen
the canon ending unless From Software says otherwise is w/e you you choose it to be(personallyi take the evangel ending as "canon" since it makes the most sense t ome)
Years late but obviously no ending is confirmed canon. The best guess us that it has to be an ending where the player is literally the Last Raven. Otherwise wouldn't make sense as a title.
So that leaves only Pulverizer 2 and Zinaida endings as the options. Personally I think the Zinaida route, especially with the ending scene (TBM didn't show it here) after you beat her, where your character looks at the sunset while text pops up that explains what it means to be a Raven. No other ending has a scene like that. So Zinaida ending is most likely to be canon imo
Also the Super Airborned fight I think is just an extra mission. Might be canon but wouldn't make sense since the Internecine was already shut down, and also there's no story context in that fight. No dialogue, nothing.

oi-o im a bit confused honestly im missing missions after the 10:00 marker and i have them all compleat before that marker and all three starter missions are compleat as well so im a wee bit confused as to why im still missing an mission in the 12:00 marker could anyone help?

somem isisons will become an option if you complete a previous mision in a specific way
IE: to get ot this ending you must take all missions that involve AC fights, incudling 2 missions where you have ot take the option to fight 2v1
You're lucky....As far as I remembered....zinaida was never on the ground...she's always fly above your head...I beat her using a "unique" tactics to avoid her keep flying above my head...
*distract her using echidna 2 then blast her with dual left hand plasma + geryon cannon when she's busy with that missile swarm....this is a human+ tactics ( a risky tactics and don't forget to equip en-charge extension )
*my best tactic was use lx and tank (no human+ )....run and hide inside the small gap on the wall....she can hit you if she's directly in front of you...but she can't hit you from your right or your left side...wait her inside your lock box , and blast her...she still can hit you...so , don't miss ! ....its a race... if you miss some shot..then you'll be dead before her....+- 4 shot fom lx should kill her....you can equip dual plasma on your left if you want..but lx was enough for me...I choose shield over dual plasma....
im guessing psp since you mentioned human plus.
Her AI is the PSp version is brutal becasue she is coded ot always be above the player and in order to enable this she is given an INFINITE CAPACITATOR.
the best way to cheese her fight without resoting to stuff like human plus or modifynig the game is to build a " Crab" based on the linear cannon Weapon Arms.
just build yourself a light unit fitted oly with the weapon arms and a rocket pod ot take out the generator, speed is extremely Important, you need ot be faster than Zinaida ot Stand a chance and trick her AI into chasing you(400+KPH air speed minimum).
Make your way ot the room taking as lil damage as possible and use the rockets to take out the internecine and dump the mafter its done to shed weight(and gain more speed).
After that Set the weapon arms ot their " Heat mode"(theyll open up like a claw) and start backward strafing while keepnig her in your sights. ONLY fire on Hard Locks.
if you do this correctly and managed ot out speed her, nistead of gonig straight up, she starts giving chase so that her weapons get a good angle, while in the mean time you wailing on her with the cannonsdraining Her Health(she is damaged already) and overheating her, shell be dead before you can run out of ammo.(and youll likely get an S rank too if you managed to avodi too much damage.)

Neh, mas ele é muito massa, me amarro em jogos de Mechas, comecei desde o Metal Warrior ae acabei conhecendo o armored core do ps1, e por fim Last Raven, eu jogava muitooooooooooooooooooo esse jogo, e umas das coisas que eu ficava mais putaço era que, a CPU podia usar as armas das costas se movimentando, e vc tinha que ficar parado shaushaushaushaushau

Wow she have less health, stays grounded longer, has a worse AI and there's waaaaaaay less of those suicide robots then the ps2 version.
I literally could not beat her without using cheats. At first i used infinite health but i still lost because my AC was a tank and i ran out of ammo -_- me and my cousin tried for a week since we both were stuck at the same part.
After extensive struggling he beat her(without infinite health because we started getting too lazy having to set the cheat everytime we turned the game on). 7 more tries after he won i finally beat her too and the weapon was garbage for my AC.
Played the vita version and beat her in 2 tries.
Her AI is just as rock stupid as anyother AC if you try ot cheese her
the main point to survive this fight is that you need ot be faster than her, if your not you'll have a hard time keeping her from going above you
there is a specific build you can abuse for this mission that often lets you finish it on 1st attempt "The Crab"(Linear cannon arms and heavy rocket pod on a light weight biped build for speed)
goal of the build is to get ot the arena as cleanly as possible, use the rockets to destroy and internecine and drop them afterwards(you need the added speed)
Set your linear cannons to high heat/stun mode and start back boosting to keep her in your lock, you should be able ot keep her in your lock boss and stagger her enough to score more hits(while Zinaida is a cheating Btch in this fight her unit is damaged from the start)
it sucks most of the challenge out of the fight, but this is most reliable way ot S Rank the mission(which you need ot if you want her core unit/Rail gun)

Don't u guys think Daemon is more difficult?
Daemon is easy to exploit, if your Ac is faster than his, the fights becomes a joke because Daemon's gameplan is sticking close to you while above you.
Zinaida on the other hand want to ALWAYS be above regardless of speed and her AC build has parts that are above spec(she has all tuning points enabled and some of her equipement doesnt behave as it should)

+Derrick Valentine tho sadly while looking pretty badass as a weapon it isnt that good if you arent used to it
the delay between trigger and fire is what trips ppl off, its supposed ot be made up by the muzzle velocity(a really fast shot that is garanteed ot hit on hard locks)
This weapon also breaks parts like crazy, a few good hits will thrash the core and the legs or an arm, if not outright blow the head off.

how to beat zinaidia in vita verison
+Derrick Valentine Beating zinaida in the vita version is really tough because he AI was changed to be a lot more tougher, i can give you a plan to beat her but it will most likely not lead you to a high rank, do the stagebeforehand like normal, and make sure you got the fastest and lightest AC you can possibly make, then when the zinaida battle starts, focus on staying far away and dodging, it will take a while, but you can let her run out of ammo.
when you suspect she has run out of ammo, start attacking back, either take really light weapons with you, or a blade, wait for here to get stuck flying to the top and blade her a few times

This mission is one of the secret missions right?
nah its one of the possible six main endings
toget otthis mission you pretty much have ot take every mission that requires to fight other Acs(and kill any ac you encounter since some missions have non mandatory AC fights), meaning not only this fight is a bitch but the path ot it is aswell since youll have at least 2 missions where your 2v1 vs enemy AC's
I don't think Vita version is harder than PS2, cuz as far as I remember in PS2 Zinaida stays airborne the whole fucking time and its python is far more accurate. I defeated her with the same machine gun as hers and a magnum on the other arm, with no extra weapons to keep my AC super lightweight.
Are you sure you are not accidentally mixing them up?
Because on the PS2 version she really liked to stay on the ground like she is in this video while in the vita version she really is airborne the entire fight
I can confirm with my own game that she loved to be airborne, which really made trying out gimmicky high-power builds an impossibility.

No Tallyn is right, on the Vita version she is airborne almost constantly and it makes it nearly impossible to beat her, especially wit those weird vita controls
