- Dune: Part Two Soundtrack | A Time of Quiet Between the Storms - Hans Zimmer
Live concert in Prague
Powerful. Beautiful. Dramatic. Breathtaking. Strong. Touching. This is the music of two-time Academy Award® winner Hans Zimmer. In 2024, his successful show The World of Hans Zimmer will receive a new musical programme and thus advance to an international concert series at the same time. The new subtitle “A New Dimension” already hints at this: Hans Zimmer is arranging a brand-new selection from his tremendously diverse collection of scores for The World of Hans Zimmer - A New Dimension. The audience will be taken on a unique musical journey that will immerse them in completely new dimensions.
The concert tour’s precursor The World of Hans Zimmer - A Symphonic Celebration first wowed audiences in Germany in 2018 and has since been on a triumphal march around the world. Hans Zimmer himself will not appear live on stage in The World of Hans Zimmer - A New Dimension but will function as the show’s curator and musical director. He says: “My aspiration with this new show is to preserve the culture of the orchestra and allow audiences to rediscover the unique facets of orchestral music. There are many background stories I would love to tell and long-time companions and friends I would like to introduce.”
The magic of Hans Zimmer’s works will continue to conjure live for audiences in 2024, along with some of the world’s most outstanding and renowned soloists and a masterful symphony orchestra.
With The World of Hans Zimmer, the “Hollywood Rebel” (according to the BBC) has created a glamorous, lively, exciting live experience of a very special kind.
Hans Zimmer’s extraordinary melodies and modern compositions captivate a huge worldwide fan base across generations. He has already energized countless international cinema blockbusters including “Dune,” “James Bond - No Time to Die,” “The Lion King,” “Gladiator,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “The Dark Knight” trilogy, “Interstellar,” “Last Samurai,” and “Top Gun: Maverick,” among others. - Видеоклипы
We have to appreciate that imho Hans Zimmer is the 21st equivalent of the great composers from any period, Baroque, Renaissance et al and therefore we should enjoy the fact we have a living legend amongst our midst
Actually true,
Not really
@@DanielosVK Yes really
@@greenecho_ Actually... no, not at all
Yeah not really

when Hans Zimmer said that he always wanted to make the score/soundtrack for a dune movie i felt that
idk. this track just makes me cry everytime it opens up.. its just so weird. it makes me feel like, sad, melancholic and so on. hard to describe but it hits me hard as fuck. thinking about Chanis and Pauls relationship and the end scene of part 2... and what happens between them. ugh
After Dune 2 kept thinking this piece feels so nostalgic and sad.... reminded me of how I felt at the end of Gladiator when Juba buries the figurines in the shadow of Colosseum.
Well, googled it and sure enough...completely didn't realize Hans Zimmer wrote the "Now We are Free" composition.
Similar undercurrents.
Very similar in the best way
Sounds like a beginning of a beautiful but tragic love story, so fricking good!!!
It is heart wrenching and the sadness in this score is unreal.
That's part of living the human experience. That's why we came to this heaven were we live and die.
HOLY SHIT ITS THE FLUTE GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it`s duduk, my friend.
This... can really lead me to paradise.
Pedro the Flute guy!! My man!
i literally cried watching this. It didn't hit me that way during the film, but seing it played live, pure emotions of this musician echoed incide of me. Perhaps it's because i am a passionate musician myself, but still. Written by a genious composer, played by fabulous masters of music, what a beatiful masterpiece...
I can't even put it into words, but thank you Hans. Those words feel very small in my mouth, very small indeed.....
Lead them to paradise 🥹
As it is written
Hans zimmer never fails
The flute like instrument takes me to outer space 😢❤
It’s called the duduk. Hans Zimmer has used it before in the Gladiator. Also a beatiful duduk in the track «marco polo» from uncharted 2
Pretty sure the guy playing it invented the instrument he's playing. You can see it on a Behind the Scenes video released the other day
@@jona.scholt4362 Pedro Eustache and Hans Zimmer did create many instruments for this score, but this was not one of them. The dukuk is an ancient Armenian instrument.
@@jona.scholt4362 No. He hasn't. We he had, he would be extremly old 😂
Seen this show in Dublin Ireland I cannot put into words how amazing it was just outstanding in every way
I'm so jealous!
The love theme in Dune part 2 is so beautiful, so sweet, so soft. This theme will live forever. ❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🎵🎶🎹
This soundtrack gives me the same goosebumps Inception did. So incredible.
I wouldn't even wanna clap, I'd be too struck with feelings to even stand witnessing this in person
AYYYOO FLUTE GUY!!
Great movie: story, characters, pictures, music all is there. If the film industry is producing more movies like that I would be more than happy. It is so good to see that amidst an ocean of total blundered ultraexpensive fan service franchise films.
Tears are falling down my face. So beautiful. It evoked feelings of loss for me. 😢
I LOVE to see pedro getting the jobs he deserves! He deserves it so much he does an awesome job at TGA
Pedro Eustache slaying hearts with his Duduk 😭😭
ITS FLUTE GUY!!!!!!
Yep is him
Saw this live in dublin incredible
The mournful desert chant of Arakis
The 'Hans Zimmer Live' album, I highly recommend.
Grandioso Hans Zimmer. ❤
I get goosebumps every time I hear this It's beautiful

its a masterpiece , and make also the movie amazing
Best score/theme since LOTR
idk man, the planet of the apes, man of steel, and Game of Thrones themes go pretty hard
@@IamWu329but they’re all pretty standard, Dune had a very unique and interesting score

Melhor filme, melhor trilha sonora dos últimos tempos! Inesquecível!
eu vi em IMAX, foi a melhor coisa que ja vi depois de Interstellar
EPIC
I love Flute Guy so much.
Wait is that actually him from the VGA?
@@HolyKripple YES he is the one that did the Duduk and most of the flute work for Hans on this! A few interviews out there with him and Hans talking about how they put it together.
Gorgeous piece of music. Hans killed it so hard .. i was in the theater just in awe of the visuals and soundtrack.
That note at 1:57 man is always so moving. sheeesh.
I was 44 seconds in and already knew exactly which note you were talking about. I can’t stop listening to the soundtrack.
Mind blown

I hear a little bit of Gladiator in this , anyone else? 🤯🧐
because is the same dude from gladiator soundtrack :DD
Yep. Every time. (Now compare Gladiator: Pirates of the Caribbean...)
smh Hans Zimmer. Every time.
@@andreawallenberger2668 Hans Zimmer was hired at the 11th hour to complete "Pirates", so it was expedient to repurpose some of his rejected Gladiator compositions to deliver the score in time.
The similarities between Dune and Gladiator is more a case of the former evoking the latter rather than a copy/paste situation.
These examples aside, and given the breadth and diversity of the rest of his oeuvre, it's quite difficult to justify your disdainful "every time" accusation.
Compare the scores for Willow, Enemy at the Gates, Troy and Avatar, however, and it becomes obvious that the biggest self plagiarist in the business was James Horner.
Wow black soul to be celebrated I feel so healed when you came down to be with me during my toughest time hallelujah 🙌🏻
Belleza de Musica.

Hol' up....what?!🙆💀
As Paul tells Chani that he would love her to his last breath, turns round and asks for the Emperor's daughter's hand in marriage.
Maybe Channi would be less mad if Paul explained to her the whole situation, but he didn’t
He didn’t exactly “ask” 😂
@@sofreshsogreen Yes, and he does in the book:
"I swear to you now, that you'll need no title. That woman over there will be my wife and you but a concubine because this is a political thing and we must weld peace out of this moment, enlist the Great Houses of the Landsraad. We must obey the forms. Yet that princess shall have no more of me than my name. No child of mine nor touch nor softness of glance, nor instant of desire." - Paul to Chani, at the very end of the Dune book.
I loved both movies tremendously, but one complaint I have of Dune: Part 2 is that this sentiment is severely reduced in Paul's promise at the end.
@@jt_schellyeah I suppose it helps this film because as an audience we can view Paul through Chani and feel like she does that he’s become something else now. However for the future I’m not sure this change will work as well..
@@mikevinna2096 That's a good point and the movie really does do that well. We feel like we're loosing the "Paul" that Chani fell for more and more.
Agreed. I haven't read Messiah yet, but it sounds like a hard book to translate to film from what I've read. I trust Villeneuve's vision though

That is the correct description!

It's Armenian duduk amazing instrument
this is an Azerbaijani musical instrument
No really
you keep convincing yourself But it is our musical instrument
Omg Middle East Bulgaria, Turkish, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia Kurdistan and Iran but Azerbaijan call this instrument balaban, Mey are almost identical, except for historical and geographical differences
better now?
did they play the somg “Arrival” from the Dune 2 soundtrack
Thats what I wanted to know
Sounds like an octobass in the beginning
Love it, but how does the video in the back not end with Chani's face?!

the weirdest way to end the movie tbh.
