We have arrived back on the Spanish mainland and landed in Andalusia. Here at the Costa de Sol lies the beautiful Málaga.
Already the arrival causes goose bumps: The AIDAblu is already waiting for our AIDAstella in the harbor, and as it should be, the sisters greet each other loudly.
After docking, we take the Hop-On Hop-Off bus. First we want to go to the Castillo Gibralfaro to enjoy the view over the whole city and the harbor. Then we continue to the "Calle Marques de Larios" or short "Calle Larios" - the main shopping street in Málaga. There we stroll a bit before we take a side street to the "Santa Iglesia Catedral Basílica de la Encarnación". This impressive cathedral is also called "La Manquita" - "The One-Armed", because the second bell tower of the main portal could never be finished due to lack of money.
Through the "Paseo del Parque" or "Parque de Málaga" - a park designed as a botanical garden with a total area of about 30,000 m² - we return to the port and back to the ship.
Before we leave with our AIDAstella, first the Azamara Quest and then the AIDAblu take their turn. We are the last ship to leave the port and make our way to Cartagena.
This video belongs to the tour "Spain, Portugal & Canary Islands 1", on which we have been on the road with AIDAstella in November 2021. The trip leads from Palma de Mallorca via Cádiz to Lisbon and from there via Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Málaga, Cartagena and Valencia back to Palma de Mallorca. Hallo Sebastian, bisher waren es sehr schöne Berichte von unserer Reise die uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Auf einen Ausflug, über AIDA, waren wir zusammen unterwegs. Bin mal gespannt darauf.

Barcelona ist mein Lieblingsziel in Spanien. Wir haben die gleiche Reise wie du gemacht, nur eine Tour danach. Málaga ist auch sehr schön - aber die Bustour nach Granada und seine Alhambra lohnt sich gar nicht! Cartagena ist auch schön - besonders Tour nach Licor 43!
Barcelona ist ja auch wirklich toll. Dort bin ich auch schon einige Male gewesen und würde gerne wieder hin. Für Barcelona braucht man einfach Zeit. Da reichen 1-2 Tage nicht - finde ich. Da kann man es gut 1-2 Wochen aushalten und entdeckt immer etwas Neues und kann sich Zeit lassen, die teilweise echt atemberaubenden Sehenswürdigkeiten auch zu genießen.
Bzgl. der Bustour bin ich dann ja froh, dass wir uns das gespart haben. Wir hatten überlegt! Und von dem 43er Ausflug hab ich tatsächlich schon von vielen gehört, dass der toll ist! 🙂
