    I'm so glad to see that the rice is being produced and cultivated locally. We know all the "aid" from foreigners is a way to keep an entire economy depressed by "giving" away rice. The trick is, "why grow this profitable product when it's given for free?" I'll tell you why! Because you can grow and create an entire industry by not accepting poisonous foreign aid. By giving away the rice, the foreigner kills the profitability for locals to earn. As well as other products. I would be careful with cross contamination by not walking on the product with the same shoes you use on the street. Perhaps the shoes are changed. I didn't see it happen on the video. Any kind of feces💩 contamination can cause catastrophic harm. I appreciate the candid video. ❤❤❤

      You’re absolutely right. When we grow and consume our local food, reduce imports and dependability on foreign aid. Ultimately, we grow our economy. The rice being stepped on with shoes is still enclosed in the husks, once milled, no one steps on it with shoes

    Certainly impressive process with the rice, a lot of people to achieve it. I don't understand the polishing part though, what did it achieve?. 🤔👍

    • @africanstoryteller
      @africanstoryteller  3 месяца назад

      Yea, thanks Ian. The polishing is for aesthetics, somehow Nigerians have been conditioned to think that foreign/imported rice is better than our locally grown and processed rice, hence the polishing to make it look like it’s foreign/imported. It becomes more desirable and profitable that way

    Why can’t the Bank of Industry assist in upgrading the process? The LGA/State Govt and representatives should please facilitate this. It is not asking for too much
