Will This Sawgrass Ink Dupe Work or Did I Just Destroy My Printer?!

- I have two Sawgrass printers, 500 and 1000. If you have a Sawgrass you know how expensive the ink is. In this video I'm trying out a Hiippo dupe to see if it will work. Supposedly the cartridges have the update chip that will work with the printers. I've read mixed reviews online so I'm not sure if it will work. I plan to test it out for a little bit and report back to let you know if it's worth buying. When I know that it works and I feel comfortable sharing I will let you know what the link is.

Thanks Jessie, yeah I wouldn’t recommend you try it. It was less risky for me since I have another machine and I was given this one 🤷🏽♀️
I give you credit for trying something questionable. Even if you said it was gifted, it was still a risk. I am sure many Sawgrass owners will be happy you chose to take the risk. I do not have sawgrass-could not justify the cost.
I have to admit I was very nervous hence the reason I didn’t do it for a long time. Although I know people really want to know (as do I) don’t was worth it to me. So far so good but I need to keep testing a bit.

I put the Hippo replacement ink for the Sawgrass EasySubli ink last November and I've never had a problem, even after firmware upgrades have been done by the printer.

FACTS!
I think the black cartridge you removed was an XL cartridge and the new replacement cartridge is regular
That makes sense but every time I never placed an order for XL so didn’t realize it was different
@@TheCraftyBrick, Courtney I know this channel is about crafting and you’re talking about ink cartridges, but I couldn’t take my eyes off your hair. It looks so moisturized and shiny. I’ve been natural for years and have never really been happy with it. No products I use give me the look of healthy, shiny hair. How do you maintain your curly hair?
Sawgrass have now made so many restrictions that I’ve shelved mine. You will get line through your prints . Sawgrass’s new update has made it that they only accept sawgrass ink. You had to update to the new print program as they got rid of Print manager. The new program will only accept Sawgrass ink.
I have the Printmate and didn’t have an issue with it recognizing it. Just FYI, I also still use print manager as well. There are just not any updates for it.
Don't let it ever update. That's when you'll end up with the lines from posts I've seen.@@TheCraftyBrick
