Reels: The Fermoy Lasses / The Mullingar Races Reels : Great playing and craic on The Shamrock House Porch, 1:02 am, Saturday night/Sunday at the end of CIAW. The penultimate session that I recorded at Catskills Irish Arts Week 2016. #150, Part 8/12. Some of the players include Conal O Gráda, Sean & Mick Gavin, Aaron Olwell, Kelsey Lutz, Don Meade, Natalya Kay, Benny McCarthy, Steve Schreiber, Cushla Srour. One tendency I've noticed with Americans playing Irish music is to speed up, thinking that faster is better but this is a mistake. Notes and graces get lost in the speed.
