Drove one back last summer. It looks good and fun to drive but 52k MSRP is not compelling for what you get as a whole. I live in Dallas, Texas and still have not seen one of these in the real world. Same thing with the FL5. Haven’t seen one in person outside of dealerships whatsoever and that’s because smart people know they are way overpriced.
The average price of the Type S in NJ is about $54k. The average price of a M240 is between $56 and $61k depending on options. Honda has to be smoking something to try and sell the Type S in the price range of a M240, which kills it in every category.
Still sounds like a vacuum-cleaner (no, adding burbles didn't fix that), it has no sunroof, no memory seats, not even a choice of seat colors (those are determined by the external color). Despite all that this car is priced like a BMW, which in my book makes it a grossly overpriced, yet under-delivering product.
i bought one fully loaded and love it gonna throw about 5gs into perfomance upgrades should push around 420hp 400tq
also you can turn off rev match in the infotanment system a few menus in
Wow What a cool car!. Wouldn't mind getting my hands on one someday.
I really love this design
by the way you can turn off traction control you just have to do the foot dance same as civic si

My 1/2 ton pick-up truck does 0-60 in 6.1 seconds. Are you sure this Acura isn't faster??
😂 in all fairness, when we tested the tundra limited on the same road in the same conditions, it knocked out 0-60 in 6.58.
Why not test this car on an Autocross course instead?
Actually it shares with the Civic Type R not the Si. Quite a difference.
When we were referencing the Civic Si we were probably referring to the integra A Spec. Sorry for any confusion.

except in reliability! Honda >>>> BMW
Not sure what YOU are smoking. Road & Track picked the ITS over the M2 for Performance Car of the Year.
M240i is a coupe
yeah id rather still take an Acura if im going to own a car. if im gonna lease sure BMW all the way.
Good luck with the pricey maintenance
EOD Type R
Price too damn high
Why do people keep brown nosing Acura and providing free advertising for them. Are they paying you?
Oh boy, this is not brown nosing. If we were getting paid for this then the check must have been lost in the mail because we just tell the truth here.

I have one
Doesn’t sounds like a cleaner and I don’t do sunroofs
Do the Lamborghini have sunroofs?
You are right I mean the Type S costs almost as much as a M240, which it cannot compete with.
Sunroof? So dumb! No one wants sunroof on a bad ass car! Mine is coming soon!
if you’re looking for a manual transmission it’s 40k cheaper than a bmw m3 and much better looking
