In "The Roots", I appreciate the technique of composing around pauses accommodating the sound of a falling tree, resulting in a percussive effect. This is what I would call a proper creative usage of sounds. I would find it intriguing if there existed a better way to blend the concept of "roots" within a song. I cannot think of any.
Love this! Both the art and the music. My personal favorites are amber falls and they come at dusk. Ian has such a talent for calming the heart and other times exciting it. Thank you again Ian please keep it up, we need artists like you!
I remember the morning this popped up on my RUclips feed, I was in the middle of cooking breakfast and had the windows open because it's finally cool outside... A refreshing breeze came in, and as the music played I reflexively danced around the kitchen while preparing my coffee.... I felt so invigorated, like the tree and wind spirits themselves were joining me... Since that morning I put this soundtrack on almost every day to dance with my 8 month old son. He loves it too, and while we swirl around it feels like everything is possible... Just like with all your other beautiful music, you've outdone yourself Ian ❤ 😊
