Stacey, thanks a million for this helpful video. I started knitting a set of these for my aunt who had a double mastectomy last year, but who can't afford a prosthetic bra. I'm so glad I can finish these up now and have a better idea of what I'm doing. You're the best!

I love DPNs! Yes, Knitted knockers will take singles. The knockers are a great small, portable project for quiet times on my ambulance shift. Makes for interesting conversations with other EMTs and FFs 😄 and spreads the word about KK's! Just make sure you have a good way to secure your project if you have to put it down in a hurry; because the yarn is smooth it can slip off a needle easily.
I like the Kramer Tatami yarn, I haven't tried other yarns. I like knitting them bottom-up. I am watching your video because you always give great technique lessons!

My Gosh, this should be the instructional video for their website! I am a fan of KK for about 5 years, but I'm just a wanna be knitter, but I have crocheted several knockers that, to me are a little heavy. So, my quest is to knit them well. You are my favorite teacher for knitting, and as the beginner as I am, I love the DPN methods as it makes sense. Thank you so much! I could listen to you all day in your other videos as they are full of the best info and I absorb a little each time. (Did not get through this whole video though because of barking, but I watched with sound down.) For anyone like me, loving the slow motion stitch videos, do you know you can change the speed of this video by clicking on the settings wheel and choose playback speed. I watch it like this for a round, then rewind back and watch in real time. I expect great success from watching this video. I love the idea of knitting the knockers. Have a great day, you have just made mine.

This is a wonderful thing that you are doing for these women, I cannot imagine what they have been through, this is the least I can do to contribute a little something and it's fun because I love knitting. I have dogs and cats and the barking just adds a little something special.

And just to include some info, Knitted knockers will send pre-made knockers to anyone. You don't have to be the wearer, and can pick the color and size, and then have them mailed. I recently did this for my daughter's friend, and we received the request within 2 weeks, and they were from a lady in our home state. I am going to make a small donation back to her, but it is just so very personal. And for anyone struggling, like I am even getting one knitted, just go to the website and request a pair.

Hi Staci, we’re friends on FB but I don’t know if you see my posts often enough to know this about me. I have cerebral palsy and for me, with that comes severe dexterity issues. I am also a very loose knitter. When I get down to one or two stitches on any needle, there is a chance that it will slide out of my knitting. If it is a double point, it will clatter to the floor and thus my knitting is done until I can find someone to crawl under whatever table it rolled under and pick it up for me. Therefore, knitting with circulars, which have a “leash” on them, is critical for me. At least that way, when my needle falls out of my only one or two stitches, it can’t escape and I can keep knitting. So, therefore, for me, Magic Loop is a disability-friendly knitting aid that makes the whole craft possible for me. Do not pooh-pooh that I CANNOT use DPNs. It makes me feel like you’re minimizing my actual knitting experience. For me, not using DPNs is not a choice. Thank you for thinking about this point of view.

Wheeltrish. That is also my demise getting some practice with DPNs. I drop the needle that I'm trying to put onto the work, and then grabbing at IT causes me to have some stitches scoot off the end of the needle that holds the work. I wish I could be knitting with you and be the one crawling around on the floor to find your needle.
